My unability to let go of Harry potter

First of all, fuck JKR. She's a terf, Racist, anti semitic piece of shit.

I first watched Harry potter as an Infant with my mother. It has always been in my life. Years ago, when I heard of Rowling's transphobic comments I was horrified. It was like some body was trying to take away my child hood from me. I recently re read the novels to find they have aged like milk.

I had been on the Harry potter hate train for a while, until I made a big mistake. My mom and I decided to watch all the movies again for our family Christmas tradition, and I fell in love with the wizarding world all over again.

My only love is my only hate.

No, I will not be buying anything trademarked Harry potter, and will only be using merch I purchased prior to her transphobic comments and from second party. I will be using the money I have to support trans artists and those who support them.

I feel a lot of shame, and I absolutely should.

What should I do? I just can't let go? Maybe I'll join the Marauders fandom because it's just so queer and was mostly built by the fans. Maybe that's all we can do. Any advice would help.

i disagree with those who say they didn't love eachother.

i just finished reading Romeo and Juliet, and I have thoughts. I hear alot that Romeo and Juliet " didn't love eachother" because they were too young to know love, but I disagree whole heartedly. Anyone at any age can feel love, no matter how reckless or shallow this love may be. I felt my first heartbreak when I was 10, you can't tell me what I felt wasn't real. Shakespeare makes a point to show that they were starcrossed lovers, and the idea that they didn't really love eachother is crazy to me.

Love is a crazy, hurtful thing. Romeo and Juliet had such a powerful, rushed love that with the combination of the Capulets and Montagues hatred killed them in the end
