Ghost Boys: Chapter One Out!! 💫

The two stop at a chain link fence blocking off an alley, and Daiki fiddles with the opening the gate to no avail.

“Dai.” Ryo stops him, as he scales the fence and opens it from the other side. Daiki simply gives him a glare and a muttered “showoff” as they enter the alley. Ryo just grins as he walks ahead.

…

The two make it to the door, finding it locked. Ryoichi fiddles with the handle as if twisting it a million times back and forth would magically unlock the door. Daiki just stares at him with silent contemplation, to which Ryo asks, “What, you got any better ideas?”

Daiki gives him a look, before taking 5 steps to a window, slamming his flashlight and shattering the glass. Ryo meets him with a blank stare.

“Showoff.” Ryo says, before jumping into the motel, Daiki close behind with a small smile. “Y’know, breaking and entering is a crime, right?”

“Yeah, well, good luck with that. Heard Arachno’s great at given’ wild chases.” Sansa adds on.

“Y’think if I knock myself out on this table I’ll get workman’s comp?” Seikoshi queries, fully ready to bash his head into it.

“I think you’d get a concussion and a psych eval.” The cat replies, smile clear in his tone.

“What a bunch of bullshit.” Seikoshi groans into his hands.

“He left an overview too, if it makes you feel any better. ” His friend placates, taking a sip of his tea.
