Rosalie x Victoria Headcanons !!

in which victoria meets rose at the baseball game in twilight and leaves james for her !!! iconic !!!

Shortly after learning just how much Rosalie values human life, Victoria attempts to mimic her vegetarian diet, but denying her instincts and centuries-long way of life proves harder than she thought. She slips up- sometimes just a little bit, sometimes much, much worse.

Rose is, of course, disappointed when this happens, but Victoria just kind of smiles and shrugs like oops, and Rose’s anger dissipates slightly. Eventually, they come to an agreement to try for animals, but if she must kill humans, absolutely no innocents.

Victoria doesn’t get Rose’s phone- why she carries it everywhere, what she’s looking at, what’s the point? So she’s always pulling it out of her hands and tossing it aside when she wants her attention. Sometimes she has to resort to grabbing Rose’s face in both her hands, “Look at me, now.”

Victoria has always had a habit of lifting things- stealing jewelry or trinkets- if she wants it, she takes it. No one ever stops her. After she meets Rose, it ramps up tenfold. She brings Rose more bracelets and jewels and snowglobes and paperweights and shiny things than Rose could ever find a use for. 98% of it is useless garbage, but Rose keeps every piece of it.

“How you manage to pull off wearing such random and dated clothing I’ll never understand.” // “It’s called lesbian fashion, babe, ever heard of it?”

Sometimes Rose insists Victoria take her with her when she disappears at night. More often than not, this results in Victoria familiarizing her with the distinct act of breaking and entering. There’s never really a need or point to it. Victoria just likes the twisted-up look on Rose’s face when the glass shatters.

Rose buys her a phone for the sole purpose of sending her hundreds of heart emojis every 5 seconds when they’re apart. All Victoria ever sends back are badly angled, blurry selfies of her rolling her eyes and short texts after every hunting kill. “not a human !!!!!”

Victoria gets all kinds of mismatched tools and car parts for Rose, thinking that it all must go together if it looks similar. Rose laughs at the absurdity of some of the pieces but still does her best. Victoria can’t tell the difference. She just wants to see Rosalie go from Hot Bitch Mode to Hot Bitch Mechanic Mode, and Rose knows it.  

Both of them are very straightforward about what they want and severely dislike bringing up their pasts, but that doesn’t mean that they never do.

On a particularly confession-filled night, Victoria looks to Rose in the moonlight and very simply says, “I’ve always felt wrong, less than what I should be- too loud, too spirited, not pretty or smart enough, too quick to run. I never felt at home in life- or death either, I suppose. At least, not until I found you.”

A/N: THIS IS A WARMUP😭 I usually write more descriptive stuff with little dialogue. And I mostly write abt my ocs so I’m trying to get more of a feel of these two and their personalities etc. wrote this on my phone in a few hours lmao

It was dusk out, the trees opened and the sky darkened to present the bright and alluring stars twinkling about, showing off their beauty. The breeze gently wisped through the grass and flowers that adorned it with bright colors. I look at the girl laying on top of me, her hair as vibrant ginger as a tiger lily.

Victoria.

Yes, the woman who sworn she hated my family, our lifestyle, our nature. Tried to hunt meek little Bella down. Yet, here she is, lying with me in the forest, in a small meadow.

I trace small circles on her back, she sighs, nuzzling her head into my stone hard chest. Letting out small content purr’s, like a feline, which suited her well.

“You know, for someone who supposedly hates my family and my guts you seem pretty pleased right now.” I snort. She lets out a snuffing sound and mumbles “I don’t. You’re just verrryyy tolerable.” “That’s a compliment coming from you.” I reply, rolling my eyes.

We lay there for a while, looking at the flowers, the trees, the fireflies that flicker about, the stars that complement the moons ethereal glow, the occasional bird that flies into view. We stay there till the sun starts rising, making the stars slowly vanish. The sky looked like a water color painting, light blues and yellows and oranges, it was beautiful, but I knew we must depart.

Victoria stirs slowly and moves up, sitting on my groin looking down at me smirking.

“Well, princess I guess we better be on our ways.” She trills, eyes narrowing but not out of spite. I smirk, “guess so, well you better be going, no soul. my family won’t be happy that I’m gone so long.” “No soul because im a ginger or vampire?” She said as she raised her brow. “Both.” I replied with a snarky tone.

She made a little ‘hmph’ sound and stood up, offering me her hand, which I took with as much grace as I could muster at this moment.

Wind swept softly through my hair and I looked into her unholy, blood red eyes, opposite of my golden ones which I took pride in.

“Well, I’ll see you tonight, Barbie.” She winks at me.

“Yeah..see you tonight. Be safe.” I give a soft smile before turning around. Going on my way back to the house, trying to clear my thoughts before Edward can get to them.

Jasper Hale was born in Houston, Texas, in 1844. As a child, he helped out on his parents’ farm and was very intuitive when it came to people and animals. Because of his empathy, he often had big disagreements with his peers due to differing opinions, but he always knew how to calm a crowd. When the Civil War began, at 17, he faked his age to join the fight. He could feel the pain and suffering of those around him, and knowing he was in the South, he decided to become a spy for the Union, rising through the ranks.

When Jasper was 19, Maria found him, impressed by his strength, endurance, and potential gift. She turned him into a vampire and made him the Major, sparing him due to her growing affection for his intuitive and charming nature. Though he hated what he had become, Maria manipulated him, making him believe she loved him. He did as she told him, despite the physical and emotional pain. Jasper befriended Peter, convincing Maria to spare him. The two quickly became best friends.

However, Peter eventually fell in love with Charlotte. Despite Peter’s repeated pleas, Maria refused to spare her. Remembering the old stories of peaceful vampires in the North, Jasper and Charlotte decided to leave Maria’s coven. It broke Jasper’s heart to lose his best friend, but Peter chose to prioritize his mate’s safety.

Years later, when Jasper was near his breaking point, Peter and a wary Charlotte returned, telling him about the peaceful vampires they had met up North. They invited Jasper to join them on a journey. Desperate to escape his painful existence, Jasper accepted.

Though he enjoyed the freedom, he still hated the necessity of killing and the constant emotional turmoil. One rainy day in the late 1940s, Jasper entered a small diner to get out of the rain. There, he met a peculiar girl with strange eyes who waved at him, he could sense she was a vampire. She introduced herself as Alice and explained that she had been waiting a long time for him. Jasper felt guilty—this innocent girl, who had never met him, had been waiting for a ruthless killer like him. Alice revealed that she was also a vampire, and that she had visions of their future together. She took his hand and explained her gift of foresight, describing how they would eventually meet the Cullen family, who also fed on animals, just like her. Jasper felt a sense of hope, warmed by Alice’s nonjudgmental nature.

They traveled together for a while, occasionally joining Peter and Charlotte. In 1950, they found the Cullens. They waited until Edward and Emmett were away before introducing themselves. Carlisle was cautious, Esme was frightened, and Rosalie was upset—she didn’t trust easily. Alice took over Edward’s room, and when the two boys returned, they were both surprised and protective of their family. Jasper’s scars, visible now that he had no longer hidden his face, alarmed them. After some time, Jasper and Alice got to know the family, and things settled into place. Emmett became very close with Jasper, like a brother, while Edward and Rosalie grew close to Alice. Esme and Carlisle were happy to have them in the coven, and for the first time in a long while, Jasper felt like he had found a true home.

Other Notes:

Jasper has PTSD and autism (Carlisle likely diagnosed him). He wears lots of layers because he feels insecure about his scars, and it helps him feel grounded. He doesn’t like showing his teeth or talking and showing emotions on his face, so he often covers his face with a bandana. He loves Western cowboy style. Doesn’t like being called the Major even if it’s in a joking way, makes him very upset. He’s homeschooled, he doesn’t like being around too many people cuz the blood and so many emotions overwhelms him, plus he’s always been introverted.
