im just making this up, but you know how beastmen and merfolk are based off of different animal species? I think the Fae are similar, but lean towards reptile vibes. like, obviously malleus and dragons, but i know sebek is compared to an alligator/crocodile ((i forget which dont crucify me jskjad)) and also i think its funny

Kalim and Vil have definitely had jewelry swaps. like the kind of thing where you and a friend would go through your old junk and trade stuff. It definitely started after the song/dance competition, but they kept it going for a while after. During the swaps they talk about being dorm leaders and where they got each piece/what it means to them ((usually Vil has some story about an event he got it at or wore it to, and kalim totally forgets and just takes handfuls of things from the vult))

i feel like this is basically canon, but Idia has for sure written Hercules fanfic before. And i like to imagine the gods from the movie are around so like... Hercules probably saw it asp

talk about religion/gods under the cut

Something unexplained in TWST ((to my knowledge)) is like.. religion. Cuz.. there are canonically gods roaming around, or at least physical historical evidence that they did. Their descendants are alive still. Does this mean everyone worships those gods? Does this mean everyone has the same religion? Are people still atheist in this world, in terms of them not following a religion? Or are other people's gods also real ((in the sense they have physical/historical evidence and descendants))? I totally get why they didn't address this, and if they havent already idk if they ever will. its just something im really interested in

I feel like atp its pretty common knowledge that blue fire is hotter than red fire. So why does Idia's hair technically get.. less hot when hes angry? Its because when he is more stressed/angry he accumulates more blot, which cools down the flames. Sort of like adding a little bit of water to a fire. I know this dosent exactly work, but i think the idea is neat

I know its just because visually it just looks better, and its to mirror Hades from the movie, but this is a headcanon blog so dw about it /lh

You'd think being long lived would make someone better at history classes, but its so not true. Lilia often will mix up centuries or remember really specific things about time periods but not others, like knowing what textiles were in but not what the government was doing. Malleus gets this a lot to, plus taking what Lilia says as fact, so if Lilia mixes something up and tells Malleus he has to unlearn it

Lilia is shit at cooking. that is undeniable. but ill give him this, he DOES cut things into cute little shapes/designs when serving his "food". Like, when malleus and silver were little, he made them basically lunchables (you know, with the crackers and cheese and lunch meat sandwiches). he somehow burnt them, but the cheese was in the shape of a star and lunch meat looked like bats and dragons and lightning.

Azul has picked up vocal stims from jade and floyd. I feel like whenever any of them pick up a stim or phrase it spreads between the three of them like wildfire. They dont even realize it

Leona knows a lot about childrens shows/media because of Cheka infodumping to him. Like, i can totally see Idia talking to Ortho in private about MLP and Leona correcting him without thinking.

Floyd sometimes gets a random burst of energy and just screams. Like he could be studying and just look up and goes "AA" then continues what hes doing.

The first time the Octrotrio were on land when it was raining, it was the weirdest feeling they've ever felt. They've been fully in water, and been fully dry on land, but rain was a weird sensory experience because they didn't know you needed an umbrella, and were somehow wet and dry simultaneously, with not being fully underwater but also not dry. Of course they knew what rain was, but they never felt like that up to that point and it took a while to get used to.

Idia is really good at sewing and generally making clothes. That guy cosplays and you cannot tell me otherwise, and part of that is making his own cosplays. He also has made little outfits for figures, and yes, totally makes ortho outfits. Either surprising him with cosplays or just making sure he looks cool to help him get friends
