i. tugs you out of harm’s way like it’s his second nature. takes your hand to pull you to his other side when he notices that you’re walking on the side closest to the road; wraps an arm around you to tug you closer to him before you get run over by a bike or a rowdy group of students. he tends to chide you for not being careful enough, but that’s only because he doesn’t want to expose the fact that your clumsiness is one of his guilty pleasures. he likes being able to protect you, even if it’s something as trivial as an oncoming cyclist or a group of rowdy students.

ii. soundlessly takes your bag from you whenever he picks you up from class. similarly to deuce, he’ll be waiting for you outside your class, and when you come out, he’ll casually take your bag from you to sling it over his shoulder, all while asking you about how your day is going. this extends to any other heavy things you might be carrying, whether it is a box of supplies another teacher asked you to move to another classroom or a bag of groceries full of junk food for your weekly sleepover with the other first-years. if the baggage is particularly heavy, jack tends to roll the sleeves of his shirt up to his elbows before effortlessly lifting whatever you had trouble carrying. whether he does this knowing its effect on you is still unknown.

iii. always orders an extra serving of food when you eat out together, especially when you insist that you ‘aren’t hungry’. all’s well until his food arrives, and he sees you eyeing it like a predator would to its prey. jack would roll his eyes and split half with you, a silent ‘i told you so’ in the way he raises an unimpressed brow at you. he can’t hide his feelings that well though– you always notice that fond, exasperated smile that tugs on his lips when he sees you smile at him sheepishly, cheeks stuffed with food.

iv. tends to roll his eyes whenever someone even glances at you with a hint of interest. he knows you’re hot, attractive, beautiful– whatever adjective you want to use, but sometimes he just cannot believe the audacity of some people to even think that they have a chance with you. it’s as funny as it is attractive to see someone usually so put together become so annoyed with a complete stranger in an act of pettiness. but give him a kiss right in front of the person who was checking you out and you’ll have him melting in no time, his tail wagging enthusiastically behind him.

v. insanely attractive in the late hours of the night when it’s just you and him in your bedroom. the lack of sleep and the adrenaline coursing through your veins from the caffeine and sugar you consumed to get through your last all-nighter before your exam makes you particularly talkative, rambling about everything and anything, and jack is so out of it that he doesn’t even bother chiding you for the consequences of your consumption in energy drinks. instead, he crosses his arms over his chest and sinks into his chair, listening to you blabber away with half-lidded eyes and a small smile. the room is filled with your delirious rambling and jack’s hums as he lets you know that he’s still listening.

With a grunt, he tilted his head to look you in the eyes. "What a troublesome Herbivore" He mumbled before lifting your shirt and placing a kiss on your exposed skin. "But I love you nonetheless"

With a roll of your eyes, you mumbled back. "I love you too, Troublesome Prince"

Jack couldn't stop his tail from wagging back and forth as you held him close to your chest, running your hands through his hair and scratching behind his ear. His arms wrapped around your form loosely, his nose nuzzling into your collarbone.

"I....I love you....so much...."

He struggled to say as heat rushed from his neck to his face. He could only let out a quiet whine at your giggle. A shiver runs down his spine as you run your finger down his neck.

"And I love you so much, Teddybear"

Ruggie could feel his ears twitch as you hummed quietly into his hair. Your hands gently ran up and down his back slowly, making him shiver. His arms squeezed your waist tightly before loosening them back up.

♡ Jack is the type of boyfriend who won't go outta his way to match with you, but I'm the same breath will. If you wear a piece a gold jewelry, he's also wearing gold jewelry. If you have a silver bracelet, he's wearing a silver watch. Little things that match, he's not trying to flaunt, but even if your both far apart, it makes him feel even more so connected to you.

♡ Jack is the type of boyfriend to over prepare, especially when you are involved. If he's planning a simple jog in the morning for himself, he's bringing the bare essentials, phone, headphones, water bottle, timer, and that's it. If you're jogging with him, suddenly he needs a first aid kit, a entire backpack of different healthy snacks, blanket in case you get cold, plus 15 other things you don't possibly need of a 30 minute jog. He just wants to make sure you have everything you need to enjoy yourself,. especially if you don't like jogging nor exercise, he really appreciates it when you step out of your comfort zone for him.

♡ Jack is the type of boyfriend who oddly enough loves board games, he isn't a fan a video games, though he'll play. (Lowkey good at very simple task oriented games like Stardew, or any games with a list of things needed to be done) Jack loves board games, especially when it's just you and him having friendly competition, there's someone so romantic about sitting across from you moving plastic pieces, though Jack will no go easy on you, and if you want to win, you gotta actually try.

♡ Jack is the type of boyfriend who does everything 50/50. If you cooked dinner, he's cleaning the kitchen, if you did the laundry, he's folding. You cleaned the living room, he's cleaning the bedroom. He enjoys not only doing things well and living within a clean environment, he also doesn't expect a home to be maintained single handedly. Jack is the definition of "teamwork makes the dream work." And he's so supportive, even if it's an activity he completely doesn't understand, he wants to celebrate any and every achievement.

♡ Jack is the type of boyfriend who is very communicative. If something is bothering him, he'll wait until you're in private to address the issue. He's not the type to get jealous nor is he insecure about his standing, but in the rare chance he is, he rather face it head on then let resentment grow. Jack also is a very honest person and won't lie to you either, unless absolute necessary, he acts with his head alot more than his heart, and if you're more in the opposite, Jack can regulate and won't push and issue of youre over emotional. Even if you need time apart, Jack wont let that stop him from making sure that you're okay and that he loves you regardless of an argument.

If they don't, then he'll go to you, and let you fix the issue if you can. He puts a lot of faith and trust in you and doesn't believe you'd ever betray him, which is way he can't help but roll his eyes when another person tries and asks you out, only to be rejected. It inflates his ego just a bit.

♡ Jack is the type of boyfriend who walks around the house wearing grey sweats and tank tops. And gets so smug if you get even the slightest hint of distracted by it. Especially with his white haired happy trail, that occasionally shows when he raises his arms to stretch. He purposely does it cause he likes you being inlove with him and you constantly showing it. Jack often finds himself teetering on the line of love and obsessed, he simple loves sending every part of his day with you and finds it difficult to be far from you. ♡- Let's start off with the basics. How you pulled this beauty is an absolute mystery, it doesn't matter how attractive of a girl you are, Jack isn't the kind of girl to fall for looks nor is she the kind of girl to swoon over someone because of status.

♡- When you two started dating, she really didn't know what to do???? She has never had a girlfriend before she met you, but she does take it VERY SERIOUSLY, as wolves mate for life, and she wouldn't be dating you if she had doubts.

♡- She may need some help with planning dates. She's not exactly big on dates as Jack prefers to spend quality time together or do acts of service than to go on dates. Authors Note: Wrote these during class, so they’re kind of simple. I hope you enjoy it! Also, Ace’s part is a little longer cause he’s one of my favorite characters and I got a little carried away.

Oh yes, the hand-holding stage. Ace finally got there. Ace has always had a crush on you. Except, he’s like every other teen boy and thinks flirting is the same as messing with you and pranking you. Despite his constant pranks, you two were very close friends. The both of you were probably closer than the rest of your friend group.

Amongst all of his teasing, Ace would also subtly be dropping actual hints that he liked you. Whenever he pranked you he would end it by saying, “you l know I love you” or he’d anonymously drop small gifts like roses at ramshackle. Grim knew it was Ace, but he never said anything, specifically, because you didn’t ask.

One day while you two were walking to class you looked at Ace’s hand and just stared for a minute. Before he could question what you were doing, you spoke up. “Hey, Ace, can I hold your hand?”

Ace.exe has stopped working. He’s going to pretend like he’s this cool guy and doesn’t care when on the inside he’s freaking out. Oh no, are his palms sweating? “Oh. Uh, if you want to, I guess,” he said as he rubbed his hands on his jeans.

When you placed your hand in Ace’s, he got so happy. Ace was grinning ear to ear, so focused on the fact you two were holding hands that he didn’t hear what you said to him. “Huh? Wait, can you repeat that?” He asked you

You chuckled “I said your hand is soft,” you repeated and leaned closer to Ace. That’s it. You killed him. Ace was redder than Riddle's hair.

“Oh uh- well- uh obviously. I.. moisturize,” Ace said, then internally face-palmed. He doesn’t believe he just said, “Your hand is soft too.”

Awww. So he does have a sweet side. Ace gently swung your guy's hands as you walked.

If you two saw any of your friends, he would be grinning like an idiot, of course. “Aww, Ace, did you finally get to the hand-holding stage?” Deuce teased. You looked confused, but Ace immediately told Deuce to be quiet. “You don’t know what you’re talking about.” Yes, he does, Ace.

Anytime Ace sees you he’ll go and grab your hand, even if you’re in line for lunch. He loves holding your hand, it’s his favorite activity. You don’t want to take away his favorite activity, do you?

Jack Howl

Jack, just like Ace, has always had a crush on you. The main difference between the two boys is that Jack doesn’t prank you to ‘show his love.’ His way of showing attraction is so, so much more subtle. He’ll wag his tail a Lil bit.

He tries to be cool about his crush and actually succeeds. He’s already cool. He jogs at 6 am. He’s got muscle. So yeah, he can hide a crush, for the most part.

But there are things that you do that make him smile and his tail wag rapidly. Asking him if you could hold his hand is one of those things. He tried to hide it when you first asked, but his tail was wagging so much that there was no denying how happy he felt.

Jack now loved holding your hand. The way it fits into his perfectly. Your hands were so soft compared to his rough ones.

Jack would meet you outside after class was over, then right when he saw you, he would hold his hand out for you to hold. It was a constant thing.

Everyone began thinking you two were dating because when there was Jack, there was you, and you two were always holding each other's hands. Even when you two were alone. You and Jack would be studying, and he’ll still have his hand intertwined with yours.

One day when studying, Jack was staring at your hand. In his, as always. “Hey, y/n, what are we?” He asked before looking up at you.

♡ ace trappola ♡ ♡ he's slightly angry, everytime he sees y/n help deuce with literally anything or vice versa, his heart tightens and he makes sure to mess with deuce even more than before, then he rants about it to cater as he laughs and tells ace that he's jealous. ♡ jealous? no way he's jealous of y/n and deuce, then he saw deuce helping them with carrying their books while talking and laughing, okay, he's jealous. ♡ ace got an idea as he walked up to the two and tells deuce that riddle is looking for him, deuce tells ace that he's busy right now but ace tells him that it's urgent and offers to help y/n, deuce nods as he gives ace the books and looks for riddle. ♡ y/n had a feeling that ace lied to deuce and asked him about it, which he denies and changes the topic, they just sigh and then joins the conversation with him. ♡ it takes them some time to realize that ace is jealous, they couldn't believe it at first, but everytime the two are alone y/n will tease ace to death about it, annoying him.

♡ deuce spade ♡ ♡ he's confused, when he sees y/n and ace being close to each other he gets a weird feeling that he doesn't really know what it is, he asks trey, riddle and his mom about it and the three of them tells him that he's jealous. ♡ he is jealous? when they explained it to him, he didn't believe them and thought they were just messing with him, then he saw ace and y/n being close to each other again, he believes them now, he's jealous. ♡ he walked up to ace and y/n and told ace to get away from them, making ace confused, then the two started to argue with each other which y/n had to stop the argument, calming them down and then seperate them. ♡ when y/n and deuce were alone they asked him why he did what he did, which he didn't answer, he was quiet and couldn't look at them face to face, he was too embarrassed. ♡ just by deuce's expression y/n easily guessed that deuce was jealous, they think it's kinda cute but won't tell him that and will keep it for themself for now.

♡ jack howl ♡ ♡ he's slightly confused and angry, when he sees y/n talking and laughing with other guys, he'll just walk away towards his dorm and calm himself down in his room, after some time realized that he's jealous. ♡ even though he knows he's jealous, he won't admit it at first but when he then saw y/n talking and laughing with a guy as they were standing a bit too close for his liking, that's when he finally admits it. ♡ jack walks up to them and asks y/n to help him with his training, they agreed as they said goodbye to the other guy and walked away with jack. ♡ y/n is slightly confused that jack suddenly asking them for help, since it wasn't like him and asked him about it, jack was quiet at first and then just tells them that he needed their help this time. ♡ they knew that jack was lying, he isn't the best liar and they figured out easily that he's jealous, they didn't think he was a jealous person but think it's cute and will rarely tease him about it.

and he’s careful to make sure you don’t over work yourself, he always has a snack of some sort on him, to help with a little pick me up regarding the aniema

if you take anxiety or depression meds, he always gives you a small kiss afterwards as a “reward” for taking it

like azul, likes to keep memos of all your medication, but he has it all memorized instead of writing out a whole ass schedule

he seems to always have a glass of water on hand, you find it very odd, but eh, no use in questioning, right?

Jack could tell pretty quickly that you were nervous around him. hes perfectly aware he can be intimidating and so he mostly brushed it off as that. until he started noting your skittishness around other canine beastmen.

at first, Jack might be a little offended. you are not the same kind of anxious around Ruggie or Leona. its only the canine beastmen who make you nervous and to Jack it looks almost prejudiced on your part.

but, he doesnt want to accuse you of something he isnt sure of. so he tries to collect any information he can about it. if he learns you are scared of dogs hes confused for a moment, before he remembers, there are no beastmen where you are from.

he'll have to swallow his distaste at being compared only to a wolf and not a man, which he is, but he will move past it. if you trust him enough to explain why dogs frighten you Jack is actually very sympathetic.

he doesnt wish to downplay any traumatic experience you have had, but he also wants you to understand, he is not simply a dog. he is a man. you needn't be frightened of him. he would never hurt you and he will talk to you when upset.

the talk may end with him allowing you to pet his ears or perhaps his tail. Jack is proud of his canine blood but he is prouder of his personhood. and in that way, you are equals.

The first time you met Ruggie was when you had trouble with something and luckily he was there to help you out.

Of course, nothing comes for free with Ruggie Bucchi. Even if he didn't say so, you'd still treat him for lunch as an exchange for helping you.

It was some kind of unspoken mutual agreement. He'd help you and in return you treat him something.

You'd always help with the simplest things. Hanging the clothes, buying stuff, and many different things. It lifted some weight off his shoulder.

It was during the Spelldrive tournament, Ruggie (along with Leona) wasn't there for lunch so you assumed that they were in practice.

You came to the Savanaclaw dorm and there you saw them practicing. Rather than interrupting, you left the food on the bench with a little note and drawing.

Of course, it's Savanaclaw, you really think someone wouldn't touch their food?

Whenever someone would come near the food you left, you stared at them—thinking what to do to shoo them away.

Although he gives half-assed advices, it kind of did help, sometimes.

Jack Howl is a man, that I believe, that couldn't care less about what people look like. Everyone in the campus may feel intimidated by you but Jack would be that one person who will approach you if you seem to need help.

He'd try to find other ways to communicate with you without the use of talking. Overtime, he understood what you meant simply by looking at your eyes.

Whether it's assignments, projects, or exams, Jack will always be there to help. And you'd help him back too.

During Spelldrive tournaments you'd often give him an "Certain Victory" charm, to wish him luck in his games.

"Oh thank, I'll do my best!"

Without saying a word, your eyes sparkled with delight. He gave a large smile in return.
