So like… Idia is a demigod right?? Or like.. a 1/16th god? It’s canonical he’s related to a god. And no one like… mentions it???? We’re just cool with him and ortho being deities and no one is gonna mention that?

I bet with being part god they have some level of strength/resilience most humans don’t. Like, not on the level as Lilia or Malleus, but they’re stronger than you’d think

"a little to the left," idia called to you, waving his hand. "no, back over."

"right here?" you chirped, tilting your head slightly to look at your older brother.

"yep! perfect," idia gave you a toothy grin before walking over, holding up his arms to help you down from the ladder. you took a single step down before idia's hands landed at your sides, picking you up to place you on the floor.

"what next? what next?" you beamed, practically bouncing in place. idia laughed at your excitement, reaching down to ruffling your hair. the blue fire flared under his touch, a trait you had noticed in all of your family members.

"we're gonna set up a game," idia revealed, him sharp teeth poking out from his lips as he grinned. with just that one sentence alone, your eyes glimmered with curiosity.

"what kind of game?"

"a scavenger hunt," idia explained. and before you knew it, you were rushing around your house, planting little puzzles and clues for your brother to find. it took you a few hours, but that time was cut down since idia was the one to actually make the puzzles

so, when the time came for your little brother's birthday, you woke him up by shaking him, excitedly pulling him out of bed to begin the hunt.

little did you know, that was the last birthday you'd throw for your little brother.

"a little to the right," you directed, watching as one of the ignihyde member's drones flew through the air. "too far... there we go!"

one of the dorm members let out a soft sigh of relief, waving for his drone to return to him. he walked off, presumably to gather with some of his other friends. but you had no time to dwell on that.

you walked over to where the tables were set up, inspecting each one carefully. you hummed in satisfaction, moving on to set up the plates in a pile beside the silverware.

once you finished setting up the plates, you wandered the venue. it was nice, all decorated with blue. streamers, banners, screens, everything that screamed a celebration could be found in the dorm's main hall. the perpetual flames that flickered on the porcelain pedestals only added to the atmosphere.

maybe you could light the birthday candles using those flames. what a funny thought.

with nothing else to do but wait, you found yourself floating down the hall towards the dorm rooms. and you reached that oh so familiar room that you spent most of your days in.

your metal knuckles tapped against the door. it immediately opened, revealing your two brothers inside.

"(name)!" ortho cheered upon seeing you. he stood up from where he sat on the floor, immediately grabbing your hand to pull you into the room. idia greeted you with a small grin, his eyes staying glued to his phone as he tapped furiously at his screen.

ortho sat you down beside him and immediately handed you a controller. when you looked to the tv screen, you noticed it was an open world RPG, one fitted with multiplayer. it was ortho's favorite to play in your downtime while idea busied himself with his dailies on his mobile games.

you logged into your account and let yourself become consumed by the game. and ortho did the same, idia's room now filled with sounds of the main characters yelling and enemies dying.

hours passed since you started playing. idia had finished his dailies long ago and had taken to just watching you and ortho play. that was until he reached over your shoulder to grab your controller and pause the game. with that single look, you knew it was time.

you helped ortho up from the ground and held his hand. idia smiled softly at the sight of you two and (begrudgingly as always) left his room.

"oh, are the decorations ready?" ortho beamed, his voice peaking slightly as he spoke.

"mhm! i spent all morning getting the others to help!" you explained, floating behind idea towards the venue. "the rest of the afternoon let the dorm members prepare their gifts!"

"gifts? they didn't have to!" ortho gasped, which drew out a wheeze-like laugh from idia.

"trust me, they did," he remarked, earning a deadpan stare from both you and ortho.

"big brother... what did you do?" ortho asked. idia paused for a moment before shrugging. and you didn't get anything else out of him, no matter how much you two pried.

"happy birthday ortho," a handful of dorm members cheered.

"key phrase detected. now playing special voice message: "i thank you for celebrating my production date," ortho read off from a script. it earned a few laughs from the other dorm members.

meanwhile, idia stood off to the side, idly watching as his two younger siblings conversed. you were adjusting the sash that sat around ortho's torso, brushing off some of the streamers that fired from the confetti cannons.

it was a strange day. it always was. idia never liked celebrating them. it was cruel. two cruel days out of the year that always reminded him of how much of a failure he was for his siblings.

i should of been there, he would think. if I was, they would still be here.

we could celebrate their birthdays for real. i could give (name) and ortho the birthday treasure hunts they deserved.

but, he couldn't spend long wallowing in his thoughts. not when you and ortho looked up at him with those sparkly, glassy eyes, illuminating with everything except that pure childlike wonder he had grown up seeing before that day.

but, for now, if he thought long and hard, used his imagination to escape...

he could see them.

"big brother! look at the gifts i got!" ortho cheered, holding up a box with a figurine of his favorite video game hero. you stood beside him, smiling brightly as ortho showed the figurine off.

yeah... he could see them.

As a non human being, someone who can connect to the world system. Ortho always wonder how everyone is a pile of data and codes. Even his brother is one too. There seems to be a system that he and his brother as well others follows.

He don't really care about it as he follow the orders of the world. It was after all embedded on his system to do as it talked.

Even if he have questions, no one can answer it. No one can ask questions, no one can give answers. Everyone is puzzle about his questions even if he ask it. The world people don't know the reality but it's better for them to live a life oblivious in the truth. And Ortho adopted to the order of society, ignore the truth and live like others.

As to say, he think everything is what it supposed to look like... Till you come to this world.

Are you a virus? Should he exterminate you? Will you cost damage to the world ? Will you endanger his older brother ?

He have many questions in his mind as he watch you from a far. He get a notification from world system that he was chosen.

If we think about it. Isn't the game an app? Hades is a god. Maybe... They can be self aware more than others. Instead of souls they handle data. Which is everyone in this world. Since Ortho is not human as everyone, his more self aware of the world system.

The Corpse Bride movie is one of my favorite movies and I just had to show off my Idia Groom’s artwork I worked on and off for 5 months. (I wish I was kidding). I love the vows that Victor had and while I know Idia didn’t want to be married off in the event because… you know… he was being held captive, I can’t help but think he’d have something similar to say if the ceremony continued. I loved coloring his hair and I want to actually attempt it again someday.

You stared at the blurred figure holding flowers and chains, you followed the chains that you soon realize connected to your right foot. You look down at yourself, you find yourself in a wedding cloths but it's black and blue in color.

"what's wrong ? Do you find your self in any discomfort? But I made sure it's your favorite type of cloths like you once said you wanted to wear in special day like this.., and measure it to your size. Hehe. You look very beautiful in you..."

A wide smile with his sharp teeth come to view yet you can't move as he call your name over and over again.

"GET AWAY FROM ME, GET AWAY FROM ME. I WANNA GO HOMEEEE."

You wanted to scream and punch someone, who the fuck made this world genre have this huge turn!!

You felt the psycho hold your shoulder captive as you try to run.

"...oh. so Pinocchio is thing too?" You said blankly as your process what could be the possibility of this kind of scene. You come to learn that this world is a world base on some channel on TV you watch when your kid, or even before your were sent here. Obviously nothing is surprising to see now, the only surprise your waiting to hear or see is That gottdamn principal doing something to help your case.

"Pinocchio? Prefect Yuu know of that story too?" You notice that his eyes is usually sparkling. Very unusual. But as long it don't involve Overblot again, it's fine.

You pause and think maybe it's really a story of this world but this new human, Ortho says that it's a story he only heard from someone. The probability of a robot becoming flesh and skin is 0.0000000000000000...001% through his calculation is miscalculated.

"did you wish upon a star, that you wanna be human? " You don't understand why would someone wish to be a human. If you were ask, if you wanna be something else other than human--to be honest. The answer is simple: that kind of species that don't have or can't have depression.

"base on my last night news Intel that there is indeed a shooting star that happen. But I was already in sleep mode when that happen." He tried to stood up but he fallen face first as he is someone who just gain human body. You watch him struggle for a while that you almost heard a family voice screaming behind the tree line: HELP HIM. HOW COULD YOU WATCH HIM SUFFER--

but when you look where the voice come from, you saw no one that could be related to Ortho big brother, Idia.

You sigh the nth time. You felt you become Jamil who keep sighing but what can you do. You stuck with this person, wait no. Ortho don't do anything bad yet on your list, it's more of this place than him. Through, you do have friends here. That doesn't mean your desire to go home falter.

"here..." You stood in front of Ortho who you notice is wearing a hoody, something that might be influenced by his older brother sense of taste. He look up to you and to your out stretching hand.

"thank you, prefect Yuu." His warm hand that is unlike the texture of a robot hand would have probably something odd to you, if your someone who freely hold his hand before. But since you and him only have this scenario to have this kind of interaction. You grab hold of his hand and pull him up to his feet.

"..." You then realize his quite taller than you, maybe his taller than his older brother as well. You question if it's because those brothers are base on Hades who have titan blood. So they are taller than average people, cause of genes.

"prefect Yuu seems smaller..." You heard him laugh but karma seems to strick early today as he lose his balance when he start laughing and collapse on top of you.

You once again hear a scream: HOW CRINGE CAN THIS GET--

but the noise is soon cover by the blowing wind.

You should feel embarrassed on your position right now, but your still not mentally sane to felt like a normal teenager as you just encounter many over blot back to back in an unknown world. Your also annoyed at someone right now. You felt all the feelings you can felt those days are all negative or nothing.

"sorry..." You saw his hair edge ablaze in pink color. 'oh wow, how interesting...' you thoughts. If only you have energy to care about that. You after all felt the glare coming from afar.

"I dont know, if you ever experience pining down someone before but your brother is glaring at me. He probably going to release some rant I have on social media against the principal with a ghost account." Your pretty sure, it was idia who you keep hearing all this time. As you saw flaring red/orange flaming light come from the tree line.

It was Idia shroud and Alice Bylur who's been watching you two. Ortho who saw his brother out of his room is quite happy while trying to run toward his older brother for a hug.

"brother...!"

"Ortho ..!"

You watch the scene where they dramatically hug each other as if they never seen each other for years.

Idia cried when he saw his younger brother he created to have skin, flesh, and bones. Like his decrease younger brother. He was both happy and fearful. What if Ortho is too weak and can't protect himself? Humans are weak and they die easily. That's why he he don't like the idea of Alice helping out Ortho case when he first heard that same story before Ortho.

If his brother stay as a robot. He can protect himself and won't let the same tragedy to happen again. He dislike the idea but seeing his younger brother Alice and warm. He can't say the words as it's stuck on his throat. He can only cry while continue to hug his younger brother who's smiling widely at him.

"srl... Break up you two." What seems to he a few seconds for him, in reality is already an hour and haft passes by. Alice and you who watch those two hug like no tomorrow ready eaten few ice cream cone yet those two don't stop hugging yet.

"if you really want to party that much. You two can have long chat about life at my place." The spirit of snow says as he rolled his eyes at the sweetness of the two brothers.

"your place?" The three of you repeated widely staring at the person who grab his phone out to call someone.

"...oh. I forget to tell you. When You randomly run away, you selected my 'home' town, enchanted forest." Alice says as you two hear the sound of animal stamping coming to your direction.

The four of you soon see a group of deers come to view. A red haired male riding on top of one of those deers.

"AI AI!!" The stranger yell startle all of you. The said person jump off the deer and flip throw the air and leech into your senior legs.

"...fuck off." Alice kicked him off his legs and walk away. But the red haired stranger just leech back to his legs. "Can we have a duel. Can we play, can we play house, can we build a snowman--" fast question is being ask as well being ignored.

"anyway. Do you guys know how to ride a deer ?"

"aliceshi is beyond this world understanding. Don't you know we are in techno era, why are you still riding deers?" Idia commented as Alice helped him and his brother get into one.

"I ask for a car. That guy is in fault you know." He point at the red haired he put in another deer back. But with a tape on his mouth.

He walk toward your direction and helped you to a deer to ride as well. All of you but Alice is in a deer.

"this is so lame..." Idia added as he hugged his younger brother safely close to him. He don't want his younger brother to fall off after all.

"hehehe...." He smirked before he whistle. From the river that is few step away from us, out come, a horse made off water.

"OH SEVEN, IS THAT HORSE WHAT I THINK IT IS?!" Your otaku senior screams at the sight of the enchanted creature. "That Celestia horse from that animation: ice emperor 2!!" He nerd out which made his brother chuckle at his excitement.

"waitwaitcouldthisplacebethatplace?!" With newly found excitement idia with the use of his otaku knowledge ride the deer off first.

"sigh... This is not how it supposed to end... Whatever." Alice ride his water element horse and lead the pack of deer back to the main city.

Your supposed to be running away from the school and now you found yourself being treated like a royal guest in a royal palace made of pure white marble and expensive stone.

People mix with enchanted snow people greeted your group as you all ride your way to the palace. You saw many structure made of white and blue marble. It was like like the whole city is made of snow and ice to the very structure.

"this was fun big brother!" You heard Ortho says to idia who is now in the ground trying to make it swallow him whole. He realize that his surrounded by stranger and what more they all eyeing him too no end.

"let's do it again next time. Hehe." The younger shroud added as he look around the place with glee seen reflected in his eyes.

"...aliceshiyouneversaidyourrelativetoaroyalfamily....!!!" ((Idia))

"srl? I'm not."

"GASP. ARE YOU DISOWNING THE WHOLE FAMILY TREE?" ((??))

"I'm a Bylur and your a Kristen? You think we're related?" ((Alice))

You felt your head hurt watching the scene. In few hours in the day, there's a little welcoming party that been held in the palace that Alice made you three stayed in. Through Alice ended it early because Idia don't like the idea.

"feel at home. Order what you want from those people. They can give them to you, unless you want to go home back to your world." The last words was directed at you. You wanted to ask that but you keep your mouth shut when you heard the last sentence.

Currently you all four in a private room. Full of books and figurines.

"you guys can't leave this Isla yet." Alice began his important announcement. The older shroud did ask earlier if they can leave since you seems fine already and he don't want to stay longer in this place.

"I mean. You two can. But Ortho can't... Not yet."

"what! Why?"

"enchanted forest spirit says you have to stay here for a while if you want to continue to experience being human. If you leave, you will become mechanical again, mind you--the process of being metal again is like little mermaid touching the sea with human legs, but you well feel the agony your mechanical sensor can't take. Beside it's only a three days thing unless you want extended warranty." He chuckle at his own sentence. Watching the horror pasted into idia face, he continued "What's the rush? I already ask the principal for a break for the three of you. With the use of bribing him..." He looks so proud bribing the principal.

"w-what if I order you as dorm warden to send us back to the campus?" Certain older brother don't want to stay no matter what. But Alice have a trump card.

"Ice emperor 1 and 2 is base from this place." He cough and give idia a clear folder that he taken out from under the table, in front of him.

"...staying here for a few days don't seems bad." The otaku is been bribed.

"a fan time with big brother, Alice and yuu. How exciting..." You heard Ortho excitement from his voice.

You question why is this happening, when your trying to escape those people? You cant do anything but tag along with them now.

"I'm really looking forward for it, won't you too, prefect Yuu? Since we're out here to make you smile and unstressed from over work. won't it be nice to enjoy for a while?" You look at the younger shroud and sigh. "I guess... It won't be that bad." You hopelessly smile to him.

"I'm so lucky I can finally get to know you better after all those time.... Mere data and computer calculation won't beat the real deal after all."

You felt chill run through you when you heard him whisper something. It reminded you of your dream last night.

"!!!" You back away from the young shroud who look confuse at you. You don't know if it's an illusion or not. maybe it's just stress getting into you.

You apologize to startling him and start a normal chat about school and your group of friends, forgetting the fear you have just now.
