So I thought this was commonly known internet navigation (but apparently it might just be those of us who have been using the internet since the 90’s who still know it). Or so it seems based on… a grumpy comment I got.

When you see an arrow like this:

It means you click it to expand out a hidden section.

It’s an accordion section/menu! It’s useful in web design to hide information that may be overwhelming under specific headers so people can only see what they need.

Here I’m using it for people who need the content warnings to be able to check, but for those who don’t need them and don’t want to be spoiled to just move right past without accidentally reading anything.

It’s still the user’s responsibility to click the arrow and read things as they need! But it is all warned. (And, yes, the all encompassing issues are already a tag on the fic, I’m just providing additonal warnings per chapter.)

Fuyuhko is trapped.

Part of him is urging him to get out of bed, for the slivers of sunlight entering the cottage through the drawn blinds herald the beginning of a new day. It’s locked in a stubborn feud with a lazy, selfish part of him that wants to stay right where he is: in Kazuichi’s arms with his head against his chest, taking in his boyfriend’s slow, soft breaths. The moment he gets up, all the warmth he’s accumulated will disappear.

He listens out, anticipating a rap on the door, though he can't think of a reason why anyone would need him or Kazuichi right now. He doesn't know what the time is, and he can't be fucked to sit up and check.

It occurs to him, then, that it's Sunday, the one day of the week where he can lie in for as long as he wants. He doesn't, usually, for sleeping any later than 7:30 was unthinkable in the Kuzuryuu Clan, regardless of the day. Even now, he can hear his father pounding on the door like a police officer at a crime scene, or the deceptively cheery chime of Monokuma’s morning announcements.

Can he really just… stay here? With his boyfriend? And relax?

He can't. He shouldn't. There’s so much to do, and he can’t let the others – the world – down. Not after all that he’s done to blanket the world in despair.

Kazuichi’s arms seem to wrap around him tighter, but perhaps that’s just his imagination. In any case, he can’t get up, even if he wants to – not without waking Kazuichi, at least.

Perhaps lying in for just one morning wouldn't be so bad after all.

After a long moment, he closes his single eye, not knowing if he’ll fall asleep once more.
