Having a fic idea running around. Charles and Erik are divorced, Jean is adopted not too long after. One day she goes to school then comes back to find Charles injured. She calls for help, David and Lorna. Eventually she contacts Erik who remains at Charles's side and helps him post-hospital release. However, Charles does not trust that Erik even remotely still cares for him in the slightest. Charles was not good for Erik, not good to him. Neither say anything as they part bc Charles doesn't need someone looking out for him anymore, especially not his ex. But maybe he does and things take a turn, Charles ends up in a psychic/telepath self-induced coma. Kurt Marko is alive, and Erik really really should not meet that man. (Erik will and Kurt is going to wish to have not entered the Xaviers lives ever.)

The funniest thing about the X-Men films especially in the 2010s is that Charles, in his adulthood, is introduced as a major flirt, he's always getting ladies (and gents 😏) and Erik is introduced to us as this man on a mission, really hardly a love interest in sight (no, I personally don't count Raven).

And the funniest thing is, is out of the two of them Charles should be the one with a child or two at least but no. Man the man is mainly childless until he gets Jean waaaay later meanwhile Erik has 5-year-old running around that he doesn't know exists/is his

I just recently rewatched revenge of the sith, and my god can you just imagine the scene where Padmé confronted Anakin in Mustafar but with Cherik beach divorce context? (Basically Charles is Padmé here) It would go something like:

Charles: Erik… you’re breaking my heart. You’re going down the path I can’t follow.

Anakin asked Padmé to join the dark side, and then Erik asked Charles to join his side so….

Hey! Cherik Week has ended...

And it was full with beautiful art and excellent writings, so we got news.

First of all, I'd like to thank you all since I'm a relatively small blog, and I'm not the most active because life and job (derogatory). Yet, we were able to see something between 137 new cherik works between fanfiction, fanarts and some other creations.

Anyone up for helping me plan a Cherik fic where Telepathy is naturally a two way street but first Gen telepaths had to learn how to hide and weaponize their skills. So when the new generations of telepaths on the Xavier School grow up having marvelous open minds and project their thoughts as default, Charles has f e e l i n g s about the trauma he faced growing up in hiding. And how the one person who came close to loving all of him didn't really accept him at all.

And idk, if a telepath kid somehow came into Eriks wing after a anti-mutant attack on her home. And through a road trip Erik comes to realize all the ways he didn't see Charles because of his own fear of being known.

Note that telepaths have a different perception of privacy. I'm inspired by an amazing fic that discusses that and I'll try to link it.

Soooo I'm thinking about getting some Magneto and Professor X tattoos (one each) and does anyone know a good one for Charles? For Erik I'm thinking his iconic helmet but what about Charles? Should I do Cerebro from Krakoa era? Or like the animation/2000s movies? Or should I do something different for Charles?

Suggestions for both are welcome
