hi lovely!!!!

🐇i actually have a few favorite animals (especially rabbits and tigers) and they’re literally all around my room so this is a hard pick… but i would definitely have to say tiger. i love the power they hold in different cultures and as a spirit animal in general (patronuses in harry potter had a hold on me LMAO) !!! A deer is also a close one, i had a spiral when I found out about the deer with the target on its head tattoo and the meaning behind it and it really resonated with me personally so…!

🍓 my favorite compliment to receive is definitely anything on my smile. i’ve literally had a ton of work done on my mouth (almost 4 1/2 years of braces and procedures gulp..) and im still really insecure about my smile so someone complimenting it literally makes me want to cry. + I love telling people that I love their laugh and vibe, I saw this one video talking about how someone could compliment your outfit but a compliment about your soul stays forever and an outfit doesn’t (or something along those lines) and it really stuck with me.

scratch the whole plan for the next month i just heard Once More To See You and i need to write some gut wrenching Dick Grayson and/or Jason Todd angst NOW.

꩜ Jason Todd who doesn’t sleep. Who has a knife under his pillow just in case. Who only sleeps on the left side of the bed since it’s closer to the doorway. He never explains any of it. Any of the cold sweats—waking up in a jolt that woke even the mice in your walls. The occurrence seemed to be every blue moon when your relationship started—only nights in which the two of you weren’t wrapped up in each other. When life seemed as if he was a civilian, living a life that he had watched from passersby on nearby streets was when those thoughts creeped in. 

 He didn’t deserve this. Out of all people, Jason Peter Todd didn’t believe he deserved this. A family. A person to come home to every night—someone who would wipe the sweat off of his forehead when he would toss and turn in the darkest of hours. 

 Whatever he did to deserve this—to deserve you, he would change himself just to keep whatever slipping grasp he had on it. He stopped sleeping with his gun in his nightstand and removed the knife from under his pillow. His hand still automatically reaches for it if he gets woken up, patting the sheets and only finding empty space. Maybe he could make himself deserve this life. Deserve your hands intertwining with his down the street or have your fingers making a mess of his hair when he finally drifts off. 

 Maybe he could deserve you. Your laugh, the way you look at him. All of those small stolen moments that have led up to how the two of you love each other now. The quiet glances and featherlight touch. 

 Jason Todd is determined to deserve your love. Little does he know, your love is relentless no matter how much he changes himself for you. You would have loved him anyways—because that’s what Jason needs.

Dick Grayson x Reader

You were sitting on your couch, lazily scrolling through your phone. The night was calm, quiet, and peaceful—a rare occurrence in Blüdhaven. Well, thanks to your boyfriend, Nightwing.

Then you heard it. A soft thud on your balcony… followed by a knock on your window. You peered over and saw him. He was hanging upside down, a cocky grin spreading across his lips as your eyes met.

“You look cute from this angle,” he teased, eyes glinting with mischief and affection.

Sighing softly, you focused back on your phone while reaching for the sliding door and tugging it open with one hand. Cool night air spilled into the room, along with the familiar scent of him. He slid inside your apartment gracefully, his eyes already on you.

You plopped back down on the sofa—your head on the armrest, still focused on your phone—as if the Nightwing, your Dick Grayson, didn’t just appear out of nowhere. He closed the sliding door for you, walked in like he owned the place, removed his mask, and tucked it into his pocket.

Wanting to disrupt your peace, he walked behind you and leaned down, peeking at you like you were his favorite view. (You are.)

“Hey, cutie. Missed me?” he teased, tilting his head as you met his gaze.

You didn’t answer, still focused on your phone, laughing lightly at the meme you’d just seen. Dick’s brows furrowed at the lack of reply. He moved to sit on the other end of the couch, gently placing your legs over his lap.

“Don’t you have patrol tonight?” you asked, setting your phone down and propping yourself up on your elbows to look at him.

“I do… I just needed one thing before I go,” he murmured, his smile widening as he grabbed you by the shoulders, tugging you gently to straddle him.

You arched a brow, tilting your head—but before you could ask, he cupped your cheeks and pulled you into a quick kiss.

It was fleeting… until he kissed you again, deeper this time, like he couldn’t get enough.

His hands moved to your waist, pulling you closer as you both lost yourselves in the softness of each other’s lips. When you finally parted, your foreheads leaned together, breath mingling.

“What is it that you wanted?” you asked, meeting his gaze.

“I just got it. Now I can go back on patrol,” he murmured, that lovesick smile never leaving his face. He carefully placed you back down on the couch, his eyes never leaving yours.

Just like that, he headed back to the balcony, preparing to leave. But not before stealing one last glance at you and saying,

“Don’t miss me too much, sweetheart.”

And then he was gone—leaving you flushed, warm, and fuzzy… all because of his kiss.

⟡ Dick Grayson who purposely does little things to get you to notice him before you two finally date. The little things start to pop up—always offering a pen when you look in your bag for a little too long, somehow always having a hair tie whenever you need one, and running to his car to grab you a jacket whenever you utter the words "i'm cold." Everyone begins to notice how he feels when he joins you to get coffee so you don't 'cross the street alone.' Because who knows what could happen? Boxes of Alfred’s cookies began to make their way to your doorstep with his name signed onto the tag of the box—blue ribbon was attempted to be tied into a bow at the top, looking like a lopsided shoelace. He tried and of course that’s exactly what his whole family made fun of him for.

When the two of you finally get together it’s like the whole batfam was cheering him along as moral support. He would have never admitted how scared he was to go out with you, but Jason pushing him out of the doorway so he wouldn’t bail from almost throwing up from how nervous he was sealed the deal that he was whipped.
