While wandering through the dumpster, he is found by Mayday and Zuke, who give him a spot in their rock band.

Now with a new purpose, he won't let anyone tell him how to be himself.

Chapter 4 - Cordial Greetings

Duke’s Perspective:

"Well, this is getting more complicated than I expected," Duke thinks as he watches the group of soccer players. Although communication is difficult, the energy these toys radiate pushes him to want to get closer.

His eyes land on Capi, the same toy that performed the incredible stunt on the roller coaster. Although he’s currently arguing with another, Duke sees him as a natural acrobat, someone who could understand the passion for risk and adrenaline. But, unlike Duke, Capi doesn’t know that someone has been watching him.

With a spark of excitement, Duke decides to step into the group and introduce himself. Seizing a pause in the conversation, he steps into the center and, striking a heroic pose, loudly exclaims:

Duke:

"Bonjour! I'm Duke Caboom, Canada's greatest stuntman!"

The soccer players turn to him, surprised, while Duke grins widely. Even though Capi doesn’t fully understand Duke’s words, his tone and attitude make it clear that this is someone confident and self-assured.

Capi (looking at Duke curiously):

"¿Así que vos sos el loco nuevo? ¿Te gusta hacer acrobacias o algo así?"

("So, you’re the new crazy guy? Do you like doing stunts or something?")

Duke, not understanding everything, nods enthusiastically.

Duke:

"Yes! The best! I can do stunts, jumps, and tricks!"

Malpa¹, whispering to Pulpo excitedly:

"¡Che, me parece que tenemos un competidor para el circo!"

("Hey, I think we have a competitor for the circus!")

Capi smirks with a hint of challenge, unaware that Duke had already seen him in action before.

"Well, Duke Caboom, show us what you’ve got. Let’s see if you can keep up with the team."

Duke, thrilled by the challenge, prepares to impress the group with his skills. Just as he’s about to perform, he suddenly remembers his original purpose—the gift for Capi.

"Oh, I almost forgot!" he thinks, amused by the situation. After all, it’s not like toys have pockets, and for them, any object is almost their size.

Duke chuckles softly and, with some effort, pulls out from behind his back (taped on with a bit of adhesive) a small medal he found at the fair. It’s just a simple brass trophy, but Duke added a special touch: he polished it until it gleamed and tied a red string around it. It’s his way of honoring the "incredible acrobat" he saw on the roller coaster.

Duke approaches Capi and, with a big smile, raises the medal as if presenting a prestigious award.

Duke:

"For you, amigo, a token of admiration!"

Capi looks at the medal, slightly surprised, with a mix of amusement and curiosity.

Capi:

"¿Y esto? ¿Me estás dando un premio o qué?"

("And this? Are you giving me an award or what?")

Duke nods enthusiastically.

Duke:

"Yes, you are... increíble!"

The other soccer players watch the scene, laughing and murmuring, while Loco jokes:

Loco:

"Creo que te ganaste un fan. ¡Hasta te dio una medalla y todo!"

("I think you got yourself a fan. He even gave you a medal and everything!")

Capi chuckles, taking the medal. Even though he doesn’t fully understand Duke’s admiration, he feels that, in some way, he’s gained a friend in this curious Canadian stuntman.

Capi:

"Bueno, Duke... gracias. Supongo que ahora nos toca ver si podés seguir el ritmo, ¿no?"

("Well, Duke... thanks. I guess now we’ll see if you can keep up, right?")

With a playful smirk and the gift in hand, Capi invites Duke to join the group as everyone prepares for the next "show."

Chapter 3 - The Encounter

Third-person perspective:

Amadeo, after taking a walk to clear his mind.

The team is finally reunited, and the soccer players start celebrating. The excitement of being together again makes the group of foosball figures feel complete and energetic. However, their celebration is interrupted by the arrival of a strange character.

Out of nowhere, a toy on a flashy motorcycle appears, dressed in white with a red cape that contrasts with his outfit. He stops in front of them with a cheerful and curious attitude, observing them with interest.

Stranger:

"Bonjour les amis, j'ai une question : cela ne vous inquiète pas qu'on vous voie bouger?"

A heavy silence falls over the group. The soccer players exchange confused glances, trying to decipher who this unknown toy is and what he is saying.

They form a circle to discuss in hushed voices.

Capi:

"¿Y este quién es?"

("And who is this guy?")

Beto:

"El Beto no entendió nada."

("Beto didn’t understand a thing.")

Loco:

"Bueno, alguien tiene que saludar."

("Well, someone has to say hello.")

Determined, Loco turns around and approaches the strange toy.

Loco:

"Qué hace mi buen amigo, por casualidad algo de español sabes o você fala português?"

("How’s it going, my good friend? By any chance, do you know some Spanish, or do you speak Portuguese?")

Stranger:

"Sorry friends, but I don't understand you."

Loco:

"Bueno, entonces intentemos otra cosa."

("Alright, then let’s try something else.")

Loco points at himself, saying his name clearly, then gestures toward the stranger, inviting him to do the same. The stranger seems to understand and, with a smile, introduces himself.

Stranger:

"Duke."

Loco (smiling):

"¿Duc? Bueno, es un placer conocerte, aunque no podamos entendernos."

("Duc? Well, it’s a pleasure to meet you, even if we can’t understand each other.")

After the introductions, Duke removes his helmet, looking around nervously and letting out a small laugh.

Duke:

"Well, communication is going to be very complicated."

Capi’s Perspective:

From a distance, Capi observes the interaction between Duke and his teammates. He feels a strange tingling inside and thinks to himself: "What is this feeling?" His train of thought is interrupted by one of his teammates.

Pulpo:

"Che, Capi, ¿creés que podría ser una buena incorporación para los Bordos? Capaz le pone más onda al equipo."

("Hey, Capi, do you think he could be a good addition to the Bordos? Maybe he’d bring more energy to the team.")

Malpa² (laughing):

"Ja, seguro necesitarán todo un cambio de pinta para combinar, ¿no es así, Liso?"

("Ha! They’d probably need a complete makeover to match, right, Liso?")

Liso (annoyed):

"¡Ni se les ocurra! Como si necesitáramos ayuda de una figurita de plástico."

("Don’t even think about it! As if we needed help from a plastic figurine.")

Capi (in a warning tone):

"Ya, ya, no necesitamos que esto se convierta en un circo. Con vos ya es suficiente."

("Alright, alright, we don’t need this turning into a circus. You alone are enough.")

Liso (offended):

"¡¿ME ESTÁ LLAMANDO PAYASO?!"

("ARE YOU CALLING ME A CLOWN?!")

Capi (laughing):

"Y con todas las vueltas que das, seguro te llamaría payaso."

("With all the turns you make, I’d definitely call you a clown.")

Liso (angry):

"Listo, ¡ya me calenté!"

("That’s it, now I’m mad!")

They start arguing in a Mar del Plata accent while the rest of the soccer players watch, laughing and teasing.

Chapter 2 - Free Fall

After screaming for a while while hanging from the roller coaster, Malpa¹ decides to use Capi as a sort of ladder to climb up, though he doesn’t miss the opportunity to have some fun in the process.

Malpa¹ starts bothering Capi—first, he blows air into his face.

Capi (irritated):

"¡Salí!"

("Get off!")

Then, Malpa¹ grabs his nose.

Capi (even more annoyed):

"¡SALÍ!"

("GET OFF!")

Malpa¹ laughs, and from below, Malpa² observes the situation.

Malpa²:

"¿Se divierten? ¿Por qué no invitan?"

("Having fun? Why not invite me?")

Malpa¹ (mocking):

"¡Amargo!"

("Boring!")

Finally, Malpa¹ manages to climb up, end up face to face. There’s a pause as they intensely stare at each other.

Malpa¹ (sarcastic):

"Impresionante, de cerca es más feo todavía."

("Impressive, he looks even uglier up close.")

Malpa² (challenging tone):

"¡Dale, nene, si tuviera las manos libres!"

("Come on, kid, if only I had my hands free!")

Once both are on top, they try to help the third Malpa², who is stuck in the roller coaster structure. After several struggles, he remains trapped.

Malpa¹ & Capi (counting together):

"1... 2... 3..."

(They pull hard, but nothing happens.)

Malpa² (angry):

"¡Pero qué hacen, están locos!"

("What are you doing?! Are you crazy?!")

Malpa¹:

"¡Cállate, feo!"

("Shut up, ugly!")

Capi (laughing):

"Es cierto, salió medio 'furero', pobrecito."

("It’s true, he turned out kinda rough, poor guy.")

Malpa¹ (defensive):

"¡Con mi hermano no te metás!"

("Don’t mess with my brother!")

Capi:

"¿A quién se le ocurre ponerte a vos de adorno?"

("Who thought it was a good idea to have you as decoration?")

Malpa² (offended):

"¡Yo no estoy de adorno, estoy de perno!"

("I’m not decoration, I’m a bolt!")

Capi (confused):

"¿Qué?!"

("What?!")

Malpa²:

"¡Sí, sin mí esto se viene abajo!"

("Yes! Without me, this thing would fall apart!")

At that moment, Malpa² accidentally detaches from the structure, and the three of them fall into the void. They hold onto each other like skydivers and end up landing on the front of the first roller coaster car, tangled up like a ring stuck in a hoop.

The car climbs to the top of the track, but as it reaches the peak, gravity slows it down, and they see how the structure begins to collapse. The tracks separate just as the car starts moving backward. As they rapidly descend, they watch in nervous anticipation as the tracks fall apart around them, until they finally arrive back at the roller coaster entrance—saved by a hair’s breadth.

POV: Duke

Duke, who had been watching everything from a distance through his improvised spyglass, is left in awe of the free fall and the acrobatics that the Malpa and Capi performed on the roller coaster.

Duke (excited):

"That was... AMAZING, SPECTACULAR, A FEAT WORTHY OF WORLDWIDE RECOGNITION! THE FREE FALL THROUGH A ROLLER COASTER, EVEN I WOULDN'T THINK OF SUCH AN ACROBATIC MOVE!

Duke (thoughtful):

"I should offer my congratulations. As acrobats, we need to support each other. Maybe I should look for a gift or a medal to honor such a feat!

With enthusiasm, Duke hops on his motorcycle and sneaks through the fair stalls, searching for a suitable gift for them.

Duke (talking to himself):

"What should I give him as a gift?

Duke (worried tone):

"It has to be something appropriate.

As he murmurs to himself, he continues exploring the fair, carefully examining each stall in search of the perfect gift.

Chapter 1 - The Journey

After saying goodbye to Woody and the rest of his friends, Duke Caboom decides to take a new turn in his life. With his thirst for adrenaline rekindled, he begins traveling from fair to fair, daring to perform increasingly extravagant stunts.

In his search for adventure, he accidentally ends up in foreign fairs, leading him to travel through various places in Latin America. Duke marvels at the cultures he encounters along the way, and his acrobatics do not go unnoticed by the toys he meets. Finally, his adventures take him to Argentina.

Scene: Duke Caboom Watches Capi

In a bustling amusement park, Duke watches another toy running among the people without worrying about being seen.

Duke (confused):

"What's that toy doing there?!

Feeling somewhat powerless, Duke grows concerned as he watches the toy slip through the crowd.

Duke (worried):

"They're going to see him!

Looking for a way to better understand the situation, Duke spots a glass bottle on the ground and uses it as an improvised spyglass. He watches with curiosity, trying to figure out if he can help in any way.

Capi’s Perspective

Meanwhile, Capi is in the middle of his own mission. After splitting up with Asmodeo to cover more ground, he tries to find the rest of his team. In his hurried path, he is almost stepped on by the people around him.

From a distance, he spots one of his teammates, Malpa, trapped on a ride—a roller coaster.

Determined to help, Capi runs and jumps onto the roller coaster car.

(The ride starts)

As they reach the top of the track, the other Malpa also appears, precariously hanging from the structure.

Capi:

"¡Malpa, agarrate de mi mano!"

("Malpa, grab my hand!")

Malpa² (grimacing):

"No, agarrate vos de la mía."

("No, you grab mine.")

Finally, Malpa grabs Capi’s hand, causing Capi to end up hanging in the air.

Capi (screaming):

"¡¡AAAHHHHH!!"

The car rises again.

Capi:

"Malpa, agarrate de las piernas."

("Malpa, grab onto my legs.")

Malpa² (sarcastic):

"¡No llego!"

("I can't reach!")

Capi:

"¡El otro Malpa!"

("The other Malpa!")

As Malpa lets go of the car, the other Malpa tries to hold on but also ends up hanging.

Malpa² (screaming):

"¡¡AAAHHHHH!!"

Capi (exasperated):

"No grites más, ya está."

("Stop screaming already, it’s fine.")

Malpa² (exasperated):

"¿Ya está qué? ¡Mira para abajo!"

("Fine what? Look down!")

Lowering his gaze, Capi sees the other Malpa slowly slipping from his feet, while the void opens beneath them.

Capi (nervous):

"Upa... ¿Y qué hacemos ahora?"

("Uh-oh... So, what do we do now?")

Malpa²:

"Por eso decía de gritar."

("That’s why I said we should scream.")

Capi (resigned):

"Ah, bueno, dale entonces."

("Oh, well, go ahead then.")

(Everyone starts screaming while hanging from the roller coaster.)
