Satan is not a simple figure. His name has been used to label whatever frightened, whatever burned too bright, whatever refused to kneel.
But beneath the confusion of faces, there is structure. Meaning. Essence.
In theistic satanism, learning to distinguish his faces is the beginning of understanding what you venerate.
📖 In the coming posts, I’ll take you on a journey. Through ancient names, living forces, and inner powers.

Satanism is not one single path. Some worship Satan as a living god. Others use his name as a symbol of defiance. Some seek light through Lucifer. Others embrace shadow.
📖 Theistic, LaVeyan, Luciferian… You don’t need to agree. But you should know who’s who.

Lucifer. Satan. Samael. Baphomet. Four names. One enemy… or four stories rewritten?
Religious texts blurred the lines. They turned angels into demons, metaphors into monsters, and mystery into fear.
But what if these figures weren’t the same?
This post untangles centuries of confusion You may have been taught to fear the name. But you were never told why.

At a time when the Devil was still feared, cursed, and buried beneath dogma… some dared to write him differently. They didn’t follow fear — they followed fire.
📖 From the shadows of religion and repression, poets and thinkers rose. Milton, Shelley, Blake, Baudelaire, Carducci... Each in their own tongue, they whispered a new truth: Satan is not always the enemy. Sometimes, he is the rebel, the thinker, the wounded light.
In a world that refused to see beyond the horns, these writers saw a mirror.

“Satan is just evil, right?” That’s the version you’ve seen a thousand times — in movies, games, and books. A horned monster. A tempter. An enemy of order.
But what if that image isn’t universal? What if it’s just one voice, echoing louder than the others?
This post explores how popular culture keeps repeating the same story — and how some voices, spiritual or artistic, have dared to tell a different one.
If the Devil was never your enemy… maybe you were never meant to fear him.

Satan and Lucifer are often confused. But for many esoteric authors and ancient grimoires, they are two distinct entities.
📚 In the Dictionnaire Infernal, Satan rules over Hell. Lucifer administers justice there. In Eliphas Levi's writings, Satan is the force of opposition, Lucifer, the fallen light, the inverted reflection of the Logos.
🜍 In my view, Satan is an autonomous god. Lucifer is a created angel, rebellious but dependent.
Two origins, two energies… and yet, the same will not to submit.

📜 Long before the biblical texts, the figure of "Satan" already existed
not under that name, but in familiar traits: gods of wisdom, rebellion, and the breaking of established orders.
In Sumerian and Egyptian traditions, Enki and Seth already embodied this role of "sacred disruptor," not as evil figures, but as spiritual catalysts.

What if "Satan" wasn't a name for evil… but a sacred role?
In the Hebrew tradition, sâtân means adversary, opponent, accuser. It’s not an evil demon… but a spiritual function.
📜 In theistic Satanism, he becomes a revealer of truth — the one who confronts, who drives the pursuit of knowledge, who awakens the mind and shatters illusions.
He is not the enemy of humanity — he is the one who forces us to become lucid.
🕯️ A demanding path, but a liberating one.

🌿 What if original sin wasn’t a fall… but a liberation?
In Genesis, the serpent is portrayed as the tempter, the enemy, the guilty one. But what if it was the opposite?
🐍 The serpent doesn’t destroy anything: it opens eyes. It frees humanity from imposed ignorance. It breaks blind obedience to awaken consciousness.
🔍 In theistic Satanism, this story takes on a new meaning: Satan isn’t humanity’s adversary, but the one who restores its sovereignty.
What if God, all-powerful and all-knowing, had deliberately trapped humanity? What if the fruit of knowledge wasn’t a sin… but a sacred act of freedom?

🌹 Weaving a Bond with Satan – Part 2
In theistic Satanism, it’s not about blind worship.
It’s a living, evolving relationship based on freedom, sincerity, and introspection.
No rules, no obligations. Only an inner call to know yourself, to explore, to transcend.
🕯 Whether you see Satan as a guide, a deity, or a mirror: it’s up to you to define this relationship.
🌹 Hail Satan.

🌹Who is Satan? – Part 1
In traditional religions, he’s seen as the enemy, the tempter, the embodiment of evil. But in Theistic Satanism, Satan is a real, free, ancient, and powerful deity.
He doesn't represent evil, but spiritual freedom, the rejection of submission, and the affirmation of the self.
🕯 Here, Satan imposes nothing. He guides, he challenges, he uplifts. He is an intimate presence, unique to each person.
In this first post of a new series, I invite you to rethink the figure of Satan — beyond dogma and fear.

🕯️ Theistic Satanism – Part 4: Freedom & Vigilance
No dogmas. No imposed commandments. No master.
👉 Theistic Satanism is a path of total freedom. But freedom is not a game: it requires clarity, responsibility, and critical thinking.
Some deviations do exist. They’re not unique to Satanism—similar patterns can be found in Christian, Muslim, or New Age groups. The real danger lies in manipulation, abuse of power, and fanaticism.
🔥 True Satanism doesn’t enslave. It empowers. It invites you to think, question, and choose your own path.

🌹 Theistic Satanism — Part 2
A religion... without rules?
In this second post, I explore a key aspect of theistic Satanism: its complete freedom. No dogmas, no mandatory sacred texts, no master to follow.
It’s a personal, introspective path where each practitioner forges their own spirituality in direct connection with Satan. A journey of self-discovery, rooted in critical thinking, inner freedom, and the rejection of imposed frameworks.
🖤 On this path, certain values often emerge: respect for free will, acceptance of differences, self-knowledge... But nothing is imposed. Everyone walks their own road.
🌑 Future posts will explore the figures, practices, and beliefs of theistic Satanism.
