Is there a memorial for all the children who were murdered in the hunger games? All 1,725 of them? Did someone manage to dig up the names of all the past tributes? Can Haymitch go to the capitol and run his fingers over the L in Louella's name? Can Katniss look at Rue's name, engraved in something permanent?

Is there a memorial for all the rebel soldiers who died while fighting the capitol? Does Finnick's name reside right next to Prim's on a big glossy slab of marble or granite?

With Peter’s stealth as Spider-Man, he sends photos of his unsuspecting friends and family from insane places. Tony once recieved a picture of himself working at his workbench from what looked like outside the labs window. On the 93rd floor. At four in the morning. The only caption being “ i see u ” . Peter has since been grounded from climbing the outside of the tower.

Tony and Peter almost never work on their own respective suits. Instead, they always swap and end up working on the others.

On one hand, Peter’s ecstatic. Of course— Working on the Iron Man suit, his inner self, fueled by pure nerdiness and tooth-rotting optimism, can’t help but lose it a little (even if DUM-E and Friday are constantly watching over his shoulder and Tony double-checks his work afterwards).

On the other, Tony is sitting nearby, sewing up the kid’s suit after his fourth (Seriously, fourth??) stabbing this week. He’ll prick his finger, letting out a gruff curse under his breath and wonder why the Hell he’s a grown man sewing a literal spider costume at two in the morning. Seriously, he’s a billionare and famous and bored and—

And then, Peter will laugh and tease him about building a sewing machine for Father’s Day and suddenly, no money or fame in the world could come close to the future gift built with scavenged microwave parts, scrap metal, and some kids ambitious dream.

So, he groans. And he tells Friday to order more fabric as he rethreads his needle. Because damn it, that ‘some kid’ is his kid. Red thread and all.

Tony and Peter work as the chaotic parent and calmer, smart child dynamic pretty well I daresay. My argument is strengthened when you remember that Peter keeps his identity a secret to protect his family, and Tony doxxes himself to terrorist groups.
