This pride month more than ever the LGBTQ community needs to remember that it was Marsha P. Johnson, a black trans woman, that made where we are today possible
We need to stand with BLM and protestors just how they have stood with us
The first pride was a riot and we need to stand with them while their protests and riots go on
Nothing will change if we don’t stand with them and we need to remember the black members of our community, especially the black trans women, who are constantly being murdered by cops and their supporters
Never forget George Floyd

I think President Coin intentionally killed Primrose.
She sees Katniss as a threat to her power, useful but only as useful as she is controllable. And the only thing she’s given everything for, unquestioning, was her sister. Primrose, a medic in the army Coin controlled.
and Katniss saw Gale build the double-blast trap, knew the hunting technique it was based on- knew that Gale was the one who designed it. With hunting knowledge she’d taught him.
So Coin thinks that if she gets rid of Primrose, or even seriously kills her- well, Katniss would either devote all her time and energy to caring for Primrose, or she’d kill Gale for creating the bombs that would kill her. Katniss would either way be effectively neutered, with no power left to threaten Coin.
So when Prim is in the Capitol, when Coin doesn’t need a Girl on Fire anymore, she orders the helicarriers to deploy to where Primrose is caring for the injured.
And she orders the decoy bombs to be dropped.
And Primrose is killed.
Coin just never counted on Katniss redirecting her anger to the one actually responsible for her sisters death. Coin. And Coin doesn’t realize that until Katniss puts an arrow in her in the name of Prim.

Anyway if people are still digging up ancient Egyptian people and Native American graves, then I should have full rights to crack open the British Royal Families tombs.

Anyway, since we’re all ignoring Kingsman writers killing off.... basically everybody, the best thing they did was not pass over Roxy for Eggsy for the Lancelot position.

Can we cry about Geralt for a minute?
He was taught from a young age that the human world isn’t for him to get involved, that it never ends well and could easily result in his death. He’s taught that he’s one step up from a monster, a mutant untrustworthy and dangerous, kept around only because humanity wants their monsters slain without having to actually confront them themselves.
Geralt’s mother, Visenna is a sorceress, but she was human, once, and she gives him up easily, and doesn’t even bother to say goodbye. Geralt was abandoned on a mountain path to face trials, one with only a thirty percent chance of survival.
Visenna didn’t even bother to tell Geralt she loved him before she left.
But Geralt sees Marilka, a girl who dreams of escaping her hamlet, and jokes with her. Gives her kindness, a sliver of hope of a life outside of Blaviken.
Geralt meets Renfri, another girl called monster and mutant by humans who call Geralt exactly the same. He offers her an out again and again, but she refuses and eventually forces Geralt to kill her.
Human men, from every hamlet, village, town and city tell Geralt in every place, every pub or tavern or brothel he enters that he’s other, unwelcome, untrusted. No matter where he goes, society tells him to fuck off.
But Geralt meets this naive, idiotic, happy-go-lucky human bard who trails after him no matter how coldly he treats him- and Geralt doesn’t force him to leave. Geralt stays with Jaskier, plays the sad silk merchant and occasional bodyguard to stop him from getting murdered, even offers himself up to Yennefer in exchange for healing Jaskier.
Geralt tells himself that he’s learnt his lesson, that he’ll stay uninvolved with humans, and then turns around and still opens himself up to getting more hurt because despite his bluffing, his gruff demeanor?
Geralt never really gave up on people.

Crowley: I’ve changed my name, just so you know.
Aziraphale: ...Okay? Congrats?
Crowley: I ran into these humans, in a few thousand years they’ll be known as the British.
Aziraphale: And?
Crowley: They had a funny way of pronouncing my name- Crow-Ley, not crawly. I’ve taken it as my own.
Aziraphale: Thanks for the heads up?
Crowley: what did you think of it?
Aziraphale: The British, you said? Suitably demonic.

The Kingsman writers had it coming, though, killing off a good 90% of your characters for shock value.
fandom is just a long history of side-eyeing canon and just. Softly going no.

Telling people they never had a choice at all seems like an awfully convenient way to prevent any rebellions before they’re started.
Hello! My friend and I have been discussing something when I realised I can just ask you - do angels and demons in Good Omens have free will? Aziraphale says no, but we know he often says things just for the sake of acting like a good angel. Crowley says demons aren't supposed to have free will, but he learned it anyway. There are some angels who are more than willing to smite humans and some demons who aren't deep down evil. So do they have free will or not? Thank you and stay safe!
Do people have free will? Angels and demons have whatever people have, even if they like to give the impression they are above that sort of thing.
