Hey, guys. I’m disgusted and horrified by what’s happening at the border right now. This is beyond politics–this is a gross violation of human rights and a terrifying echo of semantics and beliefs that led to millions of deaths. The article above is an excellent resource for ways to help these families and their children, from donating to legal groups and aid organizations, translators and more. Any little bit helps.  I don’t care where you stand on the political spectrum. This is wrong, this is immoral, and it’s absolutely evil. Children are literally being locked in cages, numbered, and forced to separate from their parents–many of whom are deported, leaving children stranded. Rhetoric used to justify this regularly dehumanizes immigrants. Sound familiar?  There is no such thing as an illegal human being. Please help and spread the word. We’re a human family. We can fight this.
