Xiao shouldn't flirt with Poseidon, because she knows that she will be in an emotional state of pure panic when he flirts back.

Only a small flirt from Xiao leaves her with a teasing Poseidon, holding her in his arms and flirting back. She really couldn't help it! It was almost addictive.

Face reddened by compliments and the flirtatious behavior of her lover, Xiao only squirmed in her spot between Poseidon's arms.

Poseidon only laughs. He finds the little siren endearing, the struggle she puts up against his advances.

Xiao's hands pried away from her face, "No, let me see your face," Poseidon cooed.

At the end of the day, they both love each other very much, and nothing will pry them apart.

Hungry || Odyseidon Part 2

part 1

Synopsis: So, Odysseus was saved by none other than Poseidon after being carried into his cove. One problem: he's starving— pretty literally.

"I can't go back out there right now. Please." Odysseus begged the god of the seas, watching his expression in horror.

Poseidon looked down at Odysseus, his mouth twitching with the hint of a smile with his face pinching up in effort to keep from laughing— which failed immediately.

"Your face! Ah, I wish you could see yourself right now! You looked so terrified!" Poseidon laughed out, grabbing at his stomach.

Odysseus stared at Poseidon bewildered, an eyebrow twitching with frustration with remnants of fear etched into his features.

"What? So you were joking?"

"Oh, don't get me wrong, I would still do it. I just thought seeing you like that was funny," he tittered after his laughter outburst came to a slow end. "After all, you are on my land."

"I didnt come here on purpose!" Odysseus snapped back, almost immediately regretting that choice with fear.

"Don't raise your voice at me, boy. After all, who do you think just saved your life."

"I know‐ I know, and I am very, very thankful, trust me. But isn't it a little too soon to scare someone like that?"

"Not for me it's not." Poseidon said, waving a hand to Odysseus's concern, letting his little water pony sink back down into the sea.

Odysseus was about to remark on that, but gripped his stomach, his body crunching forward in pained hunger.

"What's wrong with you?" Poseidon grumbled walking over to Odysseus and kneeled down beside him.

"I haven't eaten in.. a while." Odysseus replied through clenched teeth.

"So you need food." Poseidon concluded, his hands on his hips. "Just a moment," he said with a sigh, walking out into the water and sinking below it.

Odysseus watched him sink below the waterline, only to be slapped by a fish flying mysteriously out of the water— and another.

"Here you go!" Odysseus heard before getting hit full-force by a body of silvery scales to the cheek, causing Odysseus to fall back with a grunt.

"What— I can't eat these raw!" Odysseus crowed back.

"There's plants outside of the cove." Poseidon responded, stepping out of the water. "Unless you want me to get those for you as well." He said with a sneer.

Lost At Sea || Odyseidon Part 1

Synopsis: This takes place in an AU where they didn't come across the lotus eaters but instead, came across Apollo's Island. This triggered the wrath of Zeus, causing Odysseus to be all alone without any ships remaining. A large storm is now on the horizon. Penelope was lost to illness in Odysseus's overseas trip, leaving him only to return back to Ithica for only Telemachus, that is, if he can.

Odysseus grunted with the effort of heaving forth the man-made raft he had created into the water, climbing aboard. The waves lapped at it's sides and water was unsteady and aggressive. Could it be a storm that Zeus kept to make getting home nearly impossible for him?

He jumped at a lightning crash that hit his raft, blowing it into wooden shards and throwing him off board; the deafening crash ringing in his ears. Odysseus swam upward and grabbed ahold of a still-floating, charred log. But his weight was a little much for the lifeline he was gripping onto and it dived under him. The waves were too harsh to swim back to the island, and there he would be undoubtedly trapped.

With the violence of a raging beast, the waves sucked him under without warning, causing water to pool up in his throat and trickle to his throat. He could still hear the bolts of lighting colliding with the water, and the bright lighting flashes overhead.

The current was too strong, and his body was too heavy to carry him back to the surface. Colors flashed in his vision— surely he'd drown here. Odysseus felt the air escaping from his lips and his body growing limp.

"Telemachus, forgive me," Odysseus thought to himself as it all went dark.

"Hey, wake up."

"Wake up, or you're going to get washed away, dammit. Tch, why is this so difficult? He has a pulse."

...

"WAKE UP!"

Odysseus jumped awake at the sound of being yelled awake aggressively. Scared him well enough that he started to cough, eventually throwing up water after recieving a sharp slap to the back by the stranger that had woke him up.

"That's.. disgusting. Good grief, you mortals really are fragile things, arent you?"

Odysseus's hands grappled at his chest as he heaved in air, only to be hit and winded to cough out the rest of the water.

"You all better?" The stranger demanded in a taut voice.

"Yeah, thanks.. who are you?" Odysseus croaked, still gasping for breath.

"Poseidon."

"What?"

"Poseidon. God of Seas, horses, and earthquakes."

Odysseus was baffled. Wordless. He didn't have a response to the man that was standing in front of him who claimed to be Poseidon to have saved him when the sea is what nearly had killed him. Also, was that a water horse he was petting? Nevermind that, Odysseus needed to know where he is.

"Where am I?"

"You washed up in my cove."

"Your cove?" Odysseus repeated, sitting up with sand sticking to his skin and clothes.

"Are you deaf? I should just send you back out into the waters with that storm."

"No!"

He removed his tie, tossing it uncaringly in some direction of the room. His attention was fully on you now. Was this some sick thrill you got out of being walked in on by your beloved, or did you truly mean for it not to happen? It didn't matter. The sound of him unbuckling his belt already told you what was to come.

And you most likely didn't need to take matters into your own hands (literally) for the rest of the night by what it seemed.

Because as mean as Nanami can be when it came to your need and desires, he still loved you with all his heart.
