Fatgum x (F) Reader, Fantasy AU (pt. 4)
A continuation of Part 3, Taishiro learns a new fear as he struggles to rescue you from a strange unknown creature.
((I was going to post part 3 and 4 as one big fic but....I went 4000 characters over the limit))
Tumblr media
(x) walked slower now, stepping into a clearing. She could see the familiar gate to the gardens down the path up ahead, but she found herself trembling and not from the cold. Her heart was racing, her feet now frozen in place. She had ran, all through the woods. Her lungs ached in protest as she stopped to catch her breath. Her ears were met with strange cries in the woods, human screams mixed with the howling of beasts that set her very teeth on edge. She had seen it, but it moved so fast it seemed only a shadow that ran through the trees, and she heard still it’s nearing steps that sounded off like a steady drumbeat that seemed to be matching the beating of her heart; as if to catch up with it’s rhythm to snuff it out. Then just like that, it’s footsteps stopped, a low croaking growl filled the clearing that reminded her of the creaking of bones as she backed into a tree. There, across from her, it emerged. It’s bulging eyes were misshapen and poorly matched, it’s limbs moved unnaturally as if someone had haphazardly sewn the poor creature together with naught but ill intentions and suffering for inspiration. It stared, then charged immediately. It moved with such speed and ferocity, she screamed, tears immediately escaping her as she dove out of the way. It’s arms stretched like vines with fingers akin to gnarled tree branches as It grabbed at her, the monster reeked of rotting burned flesh, it’s eyes and mouth reminded her of dying coals as it pinned her to the ground to scream into her face. She sobbed, desperately crying out for help. The name of her love, to any God that may hear, she begged, screaming madly as her pleas collided with the bone chilling howls of the beast; and he heard. Of course, he would hear her. In a maelstrom that would strip wood from the very bow of a ship, he would hear. If all the hounds of hell were crying out at once and she but only whispered his name, Taishiro would hear her.
He broke through the trees with the force of a wildfire, his men following in pursuit with the vengeance of a pack of wolves as they circled the monster before them. The rage and fear in his eyes as he brandished his sword she swore could have made the very snow melt. The beast roared, tossing (x) aside as if she were only a doll. She couldn’t hear Taishiro’s words but she could see his face contort with a scream of rage. They all heard the crack of her skull against stone, her blood crimson against the pure white snow. Immediately, his men rode to her aid; but their mysterious beast was not alone. Two more came through the trees, charging at the knights with gnashing teeth.
They barred the way to their ladyship’s side. Taishiro had never known a rage like this, the anger that festered within him like a thorn made his voice seem inhuman as he roared with rage, charging headfirst at one of the creatures. “You will rue this day!” He swore, an oath of suffering like nothing these creatures could imagine as his blade masterfully struck one in the eye. Another struck his horse. Taishiro collided with the snow as he watched in horror; the body of his steed cleaved in two. He stood, on shaky legs with his sword looking dull and cold against the light cast by the stormy skies. The winds were picking up as the snow fell even more heavily. The rest of his knights had already began the assault, their cries coalesced with the roars of the strange beasts. Such grotesque beings he had never seen before. They seemed neither living nor dead.
He took a deep breath, closing his eyes as his sword began to glow with an ethereal golden light. It burned like a star in the distance as the monsters turned their attention to him; they didn’t even have a moment to gnarl their disgusting their teeth as the light faded from their eyes. Black blood stained the ground and showered him like a cloud of death as he took deep breaths that billowed into the air; steam rising off him as sweat rolled down his face. His eyes were fixed on her.
Snow clung to her hair and skin like pale hands that seemed to be desperately trying to pull her to the world of the living. The cold was making her face pale and grey like everything else around them. Taishiro dropped his sword and ran, his vision tunneling as the knights gathered the corpses of the beasts. “No! No Please! My love please…” His hands were shaking as he lifted her, cradling her against him. Taishiro brought his ear to her chest and he heard her heartbeat; strong and relaxed. He felt her breathing against his neck that was as reassuring as her touch. He smiled; tears of relief filled his eyes as he held her close. “You’re going to be alright…I’ve got you…” He pressed a kiss to her temple, trying to steady his shaking breaths.
Never had he known a fear such as this, never had fear so quickly stilled his heart. “Take the carcasses back to the stronghold, I will send for the high council personally to inspect them…these creatures, were not born or bred by natural means…” He narrowed his eyes, they were still twitching; some of them partially alive and screaming in agony as their blood spilled down into the snow. “What kind of sorcery is this…” He hissed, his hold tightening on (x) as Tamaki approached with his horse.
“My Lord, you may use my horse if you like.” He offered. “I will oversee the transport of the beasts remains…you have more important matters to attend to.” His eyes fell on her ladyship. She was beginning to stir, her head felt like it was pounding as she tucked her face into his chest. Cold, she felt cold. The cold wind that was blowing, the ice cold steel of his armour as he held her. Her eyes slowly opened, her gaze meeting his.
“Taishiro…my love what happened I…” He hushed her softly, his smile gentle as he thanked Tamaki.
“That beast threw you against a rock…” Taishiro explained, getting her on the horse then climbing up behind her. “I’m taking you back to the castle, we are blessed to have skilled healers here.” He added. The wound on the side of her head was not deep, but his heart ached at the sight of it. “Whatever devilry conjured these demons will be begging for something as sweet as pain before I finish with them…” He vowed silently, trying to guide the horse back to the stronghold as swiftly as possible.
Upon arrival they were met with the roaring fire of the stronghold's fireplace as he brought her to the sick bay. (x)’s hand maidens ran to meet him, helping him get her into a soft bed with clean white sheets. The warmth of the stronghold felt like a hot bath. Taishiro thanked the two young ladies, “I can see to her from here…please watched for the healers and bring them in straight away when they arrive.” The two girls promptly bowed, running off the castle entrance. He stood over his precious one, carefully removing her boots as she opened her eyes.
“I can do that…I’m alright.” She started, sitting up slowly. He turned his face towards her sharply.
“No, you will do no such thing!” His voice was stern, but his eyes were kind. “Please…” His voice softened, “let me take care of you there is no shame in it.” Taishiro begged, cupping her face in his hand. His eyes, that rivaled the dawn…when he looked at her like she had no choice but to allow him to help, only sitting up to hand him her winter cloak. He was gently washing the wound with hot water when the healers were brought in. She recognized their faces,  the sweet elderly women that had all greeted her upon arrival. The three of them wore thick grey cloaks with dark yellow hoods. They inspected her, with warm eyes and gentle hands.
“She has some bruising…and my what a terrible hit to the head, you are indeed lucky your Ladyship!” One of them marvelled. “Thankfully we arrived when we did, but it doesn’t look like it’s infected.”
Another of them was shooing out Taishiro, “Taishiro we cannot work with you lumbering over us! Go wash yourself of that rancid blood, it isn’t as though she were upon deaths door!” Taishiro looked over (x), trying to think of some kind of protest. She smiled, the colour had returned to her face, and her eyes were sparkling again.
“I’ll be fine, go tend to yourself and..” She winced a little as the third of the women began tending to the wound. “If it would make you feel better I am hungry…we can have our picnic indoors.” His heart swelled with relief at the sight of her, and her laugh as the old woman shoved him out of the roon made him feel as giddy as he had felt that morning. She was alright, she was safe and hadn’t been taken from him. Taishiro removed his armour with some difficulty without Tamaki, but he made sure to leave it in organized pieces on his workbench so that it could be properly cleaned and maintenanced.
The bath, though he did not want to admit it was indeed what he needed. He scrubbed away the drying black blood and rinsed out his soft golden locks. Too long he thought, it had already been too long away from her. “I just want to hold her…chase away any fears that remain.” His face burned in embarrassment. He sensed that perhaps there were more fears clinging to him than to her, but she had always been better than him at hiding away those sorts of uncomfortable feelings. Taishiro put on another fresh tunic and some loose pants before making his way to the kitchen. By the time he returned with steaming bowls of soup and fresh bread that was still warm the three healers had finished their work. Taishiro, leaning over to offer his thanks as they all pinched his cheeks and ruffled his hair as doting as any  grandmother would be before heading out.
Her head was bandaged, but her sweet voice that drew him near, and her touch on his hand as he sat by her side. It was all he needed to feel the dark fears that gripped so tight finally loosen their hold as she pressed her forehead into his. “I am so sorry…” He whispered. “I shouldn’t have sent you out alone, you were so scared...” She shook her head, still smiling as she closed her eyes, feeling his touch and listening to his ragged breaths. His heart was still racing.
“I was…but as soon as I saw you, it chased those fears away like a candle to shadows.” She kissed his cheek, her lips lingering as she rubbed his back. “You don’t need to worry, or be afraid my love…I’m here, I am still here…” She wrapped her arms around him as he pulled her close, tears rolling down his cheeks as he drank in her presence, taking her touch to memory as he silently wept.

Fatgum x (F) Reader, Fantasy AU (pt 3)
Warnings: violence, blood.
Summary: You have lived in the Northern stronghold for a few months now, Winter is coming and with that it is nearing a year since you married the yellow knight. Taishiro asks if you can attend to some affairs in the fields/ grounds but…unknown to you something is waiting in the forests.
(I have to post this in two parts...I went 4000 over the character limit lol)

His warm embrace battled against the elements that threatened to freeze his precious wife. She was still asleep, her soft skin drawing him in like a siren out to sea. Taishiro smiled, pressing a soft kiss on her cheek as she stirred. "What I wouldn't give to stay by your side for but one more hour…" He thought, mesmerized as her eyes flickered open to look directly into his own. "The look in your eyes will steal my breath away until death take me…" He chuckled. "Good morning." Her smile was gentle as she buried her face in his chest.
"Good morning." She whispered. Taishiro laughed richly and the rustles of the blankets met her ears as he pulled her on top of him in a tight bear hug.
"Feeling shy this morning?" He asked, as she yelped in surprise. This quickly melted into a fit of giggles that made his very heart stand still. "I have duties to attend to at the northern border today…" He sighed, catching her attention. Her heart sank a little, her hands resting on his chest. It was always hard, saying goodbye every morning. She bit her lip, the past week she had only seen him at nightfall…would this request be too selfish? She took a deep breath.
"Taishiro…I have something to ask of you." He sat up, attentively listening.
"Yes? Don't worry you can ask me anything." He insisted, lifting her chin gently. She felt her face burn, forcing herself to not break eye contact.
"Would you that is…if you have the time of course and it is no trouble.." He kept his eyes on her, those golden eyes that rivaled the beauty of the dawn itself. Taishiro waited, his fingers trailing along her face with tender patience. "Would you be able to meet with me for our noon day meal? I…feel that I haven't seen much of you…do forgive me if this is unreasonable!" She added quickly. Taishiro's soft gaze became crestfallen as he kissed her.
"No! my dear forgive me; I admit that I am still adjusting to our marriage, and I have not taken you into consideration I beg your pardon." He lifted her hand to his lips to leave the softest kiss on her palm. "I will do everything in my power to meet with you at noon, and if I am unable to come I shall send for you right away that we may have a picnic at the northern border together; would that suffice?" She smiled ear to ear, wrapping her arms around him.
"In that case, why not just skip to the picnic? That sounds much more fun than the stuffy dining hall." Taishiro laughed as he hid his face, his heart racing with embarrassment. "And my dear you have nothing to apologize for I promise." She added with a kiss to his cheek. "You're the lord of these lands, and the leader of your clan…many look to you, and you bear it so well it is admirable." (X) assured him. Taishiro cupped her face, gracefully pulling her in for a kiss. Her lips parted, her heart racing as his teeth playfully nipped them before deepening the kiss. With a slow deep breath they parted, their noses pressed together.
"You are more than I deserve my daylight…" He gasped, stealing another quick kiss. "I am so sorry but I must depart." (x) nodded in understanding, shifting to get up. Taishiro shook his head, his finger poised at her chin. "No no no, my dear… it is hardly dawn!” His voice was low, a sly grin decorating his lips. “Rest and I will send for the kitchen to have them serve you in bed…I will also have them make preparations for our picnic that you may deliver this afternoon." He added with a wink. She looked away with a smile, his earlier embarrassment seemingly contagious.
"No, I feel so spoiled!" She laughed. He clicked his tongue in feigned disapproval.
"And is that not my duty? Let me ravish you, let me…spoil you." Taishiro whispered in her ear; his gentle hands that had been poised at her neck and lower back teasingly tightened, her heart rushed at the sudden feeling of the strength in his hold; he always held her with such tenderness that she sometimes forgot how strong he was. "You liked that?" He asked with surprise. "Well, perhaps we can make things more interesting when the night shrouds our more secret activities?" The playful tone to his voice was ever so slightly muffled as he lined her collarbone with soft butterfly kisses, before sneaking in a playful nip at her neck .
"Taishiro please!" She gasped, giggling softly. He chuckled, giving her an apologetic squeeze.
"Sorry, too much darling?" She was still giggling when with an exaggerated sigh he finally got up. "How will I ever survive until noon?" He whined, pulling on his tunic. "This is why I try so hard not wake you you know." Taishiro scoffed, giving her a cheeky side eye as she watched with a smile from the bed. "Oh lay back down you!" He pounced back on the bed, wrapping her up in his arms blankets and all as he blew raspberries on her cheek. "You're supposed to be trying to sleep! Stop staring!" Her laughter, that symphony blessed him once more. Then, the most inopportune knock met his ears as a voice called at the door.
" Uhm…y-your majesty? I was sent to check on you!" He knew the voice, it was his page Tamaki. "You have not come down for your morning meal, do forgive me but we must make our leave for the border soon!" Taishiro cursed under his breath, he hadn't even realized how much time had passed. He gently lowered her back onto the bed.
"Again, do forgive me my dear…I will see you at noon." He promised, finishing with getting dressed. "You know, winter is coming." He spoke quickly, strapping on his sword and thick winter gambeson. "The first snowfall has already come! You should get outside, enjoy the grounds before the snow is too deep; trust me when winter comes there will be little chances to go on a proper walk around the castle." He strapped on his boots. "Thanks to you we had the best harvest season in a long time, you should visit the groundskeeper and see what he may need for winter maintenance." Taishiro suggested. (x) took up a leather bound volume, making note of it.
"I will take care of that first thing then…now quit stalling Taishiro." When he turned to counter her comment, she was already asleep. Her notebook open beside her. It took every ounce of will power not to lay back down. His feet dragged below him, his face gloomy for only a moment before being cheered up by a quick breakfast and Tamaki's report. The sun was starting to rise when he finally arrived at the border, hardly anyone noticed but Tamaki grumbled about his poor schedule.
"You mentioned strange creatures at the guard houses?" Taishiro asked, inspecting the log walls with concern. Great dents were on the other side as he looked down over the top of the wall, the dents were paired with deep claw marks that stretched along the surface. Another guard shrugged, lifting his visor.
"It was too dark to see, but the size of those claw marks are nothing like I have ever seen." Taishiro nodded in agreement, they did look odd even all the way from where he stood.
"Very well, I will head to the other side and inspect them, open the gate please!" He called to the gate keep, making his way down the ladder.
The pond was frozen over, swirling patterns of frost lazily wove around the trees as snow kissed branches stretched over her. Large flakes fell all around, the sky above was concerning. Dark, and looming with the threat of storms as she pulled her cloak tighter around herself. The fields were to the east of the fortress, and the pathways were still overgrown. The thin layer of snow crunched softly underfoot as she made her way through the forest path. A sound then crept over the sharp biting winds that tousled branches. She spun around, her heart pounding in her chest at the snapping of twigs and heavy breaths paired with deep growls. Taishiro inspected the claw marks that had been carved into the timbers of the wall. “These weren’t made by any bear, nor wolf…a troll perhaps?” He muttered to himself. Tamaki shook his head, looking to the ground. “Not unless trolls are now able to change their tracks at will..” He gestured to the ground, deep set foot prints that were larger than any troll, and looked far more dangerous. Their shape made his skin crawl, they were clawed like a dragon’s foot yet beheld a cleaved hoof like a goat’s. “This is so bizarre…” He thought, scanning the prints, seeing that they went deeper into the forest, heading west…towards the fields. “OPEN THE GATE!” He suddenly roared, immediately making for his horse.
“My lord! What is the matter!?” Tamaki called after him, grabbing his own horse as Taishiro started to make for the tracks, calling the guards to arms. “Our mysterious fiend is making for the western border! I sent her ladyship there to assess the fields for winter preparations...she and the people there are unguarded!” He cursed himself, the colour draining from his page’s face as he quickly leaped onto his horse. Taishiro urged his horse on, his heart pounding in his throat as they followed the tracks through the woods. The ghost of her touch was still imprinted on his skin, her laughter ringing in his ears like a wordless melody. “If we are lucky!” He called to his men, “The beast has moved on from our forests, but we will not risk it!” He could feel his breaths growing sharp and ragged, Taishiro forced himself to take deep breaths of the sharp cold air that felt like knives to his lungs. They hit him like an icy adrenaline as they charged forward.

Pairing - Polnareff x reader
Warnings - none!!!
Word Count - 492
Notes - I know you said dancing in the rain or snuggling by the fire, but I got carried away and did both lmaoooo. I really loved this idea and I am super thankful that I got a request from you @junosartsthetic!!! I hope you have a wonderful rest of your week and enjoy!!
Tumblr media
You sighed, resting your fist on your cheek. You were nearly done, but a break had to be in order or else you would be super stressed.
“Mon cheri?” Polnareff yawned walking into your room scratching his head. “What are you doing up so late?”
You turned to Polnareff and smiled. “Nothing, love. Go to bed, okay?”
Polnareff frowned, seeing all the work you had piled on your desk. “How long have you been up doing that?”
Your cheeks flushed pink. “Since uh… after dinner. But I was procrastinating a lot if I'm being honest with myself.”
“I see,” Polnareff said, pulling on a pair of sweatpants of his that he found sitting in your room. “Come outside. Take a break with me.”
You smiled, grabbing his hand. “That sounds really nice actually.”
Polnareff led you out of your stuffy room and handed you a jacket, opening the front door. He smiled at what was outside, but you just said, “Shit.”
“What’s wrong, dear?” Polnareff tried pulling you outside in the pouring rain, but you stayed still.
“I… It’s raining.”
“So?” He tilted his head and you just grinned, following him outside.
You two just stood in the rain for a little while, watching the moon get covered by rain clouds. You jumped feeling Polnareff’s cold hand slide onto your hips and moved to hold onto him. You wrapped your arms around the back of his neck and he held you close, swaying you in the rain.
“It feels nice to get some fresh air, doesn't it, y/n?”
You just giggled feeling the raindrops tickle your nose as the warmth from Polnareff’s torso encased you in nothing but love.
Soon, you and Polnareff were twirling in the rain, holding each other, and laughing the whole time. It's like all the stress from earlier that day just faded and you were shrouded in nothing but joy.
“Come on, mon cheri!” Polnareff shouted over the heavy rain that began to fall. “Let’s go inside! I don't want you to get a cold!”
You followed him, trying to avoid as many raindrops as you could. When you got inside, Polnareff ran to the bathroom and handed you a towel, which you wrapped yourself in.
“I'll get a fire started in the fireplace. In the meantime, love, do you mind making us some hot cocoa?” Polnareff said, shaking water out of his white hair.
You smiled at the idea. “I would love to.”
When you came back to the living room, you were greeted by the crackling of fire and Polnareff still wrapped in his towel.
“Here you go, Pol.” You handed him his cocoa and scooted close to him, his large arm wrapping around you.
“Merci, love.”
“Thank you,” you leaned on his chest, breathing in the scent of burning wood. “For a wonderful night. I needed that.”
“Anytime dear, anytime.”
You ended up falling asleep in his arms. Your work would have to wait.

Hit by a Quirk
All Might x F reader.
author’s note: I AM FINALLY GONNA TRY TO FINISH THIS SERIES, I have been procrastinating on this one cause I admit I do not like Endeavor and I felt like I had to write one for him but...I kinda don’t want to. SO, instead I am gonna write another All Might X reader and I’ll write the Endeavor one if people request it.
Tumblr media
In case you were unfamiliar with this series, this little blurb explains the general concept. I have written stories in the series so far for: Fatgum, Aizawa, Present Mic, Hawkes, and Nighteye.
https://at.tumblr.com/xgummibearx/hit-with-a-quirk-pro-heroes-x-teacher-reader/pbaoi17qx9e5
OKAY, here ya go:
Summary: All Might has been reverted to his early childhood years, and...there are many that would love to get their hands on a helpless, defenseless All Might. You can’t let that happen.
Note: The reader for this is I suppose, kinda aged up? I’m picturing they grew up with All Might.
-----------------
Cameras were flashing in the distance as Kamui ran to the scene, a villain in a large trenchoat was being lead quivering and shaking under Midnight’s watchful eye. Pink smoke was slowly ebbing away as the villiain was lead in daze to a well armoured vehicle. “The media! They’re coming, someone uploaded a video of civillians coming across Hawkes and Endeavor after their attack...this place is going to be blown up with paparazzi any minute...” He looked around frantically, another sleek black vehicle pulling up. “Where’s All Might?!” Midnight was opening the door of the black car to reveal Nezu, looking around to access the damage. He had lost two, and according to Midnight’s report now three crucial staff members -not to mention one if his own students-to this attack.
Special ops agents fanned out as another spoke with the police, asking the villian questions about his encounter with the retired Number One hero. Midnight approached Nezu as he peered around trash cans and casually walked around. “Sir, what have you heard about the other heroes? Is there any information?” She asked gently as Nezu paused at a wall that was...quite busted, and sure enough there was Toshinori. In a dark yellow suit that was now much, much too big. He was bruised, and shaking, his eyes wide with fear and confusion. Midnight stepped forward immediately but Nezu gently offered his hand.
“I can take things from here, the other heroes are fine...In fact, I have made arrangements for most of them, but little Taishiro is currently passed out in the back seat of the staff car, would you mind taking him to our quirk specialist? I already texted you her address...I’ll need to meet you back at the school right away.” Midnight nodded, looking up at All Might one more time with worry. "That stubborn goat...he's supposed to be retired." Se thought, walking back to the staff car.
Nezu approached Toshinori, smiling gently. “Hello Yagi..."
-----
He was sitting in what appeared to be a a waiting room, with other children passed out all around him. Yagi was unfamiliar with any of them, or even where he was. He was the eldest of the other four in the room...well, three now as he watched a nice looking lady lead the boy that had been passed out on the floor out of the building. He had heard the boy's name, "shouta". There was something so familiar about that name.
Yagi was too tired to think about it, his eyes closing from exhaustion.
There was a gentle tap on his shoulder, and his eyes met a gentle face. She was wearing a hero costume, and her hair was a mess. Most of the heroes attacked that night were being monitored by early quirk development specialists, essentially workers who had studied and trained to handle working with children with still developing quirks. With the rise of quirks that were becoming more powerful with each generation, it was becoming a popular profession and held in the same regard as child workers, Educational Assistants, and teachers. Most public schools had at least two or three on hand, but this...this was a special case.
"He is at his most vulnerable...he's only just retired, we don't think the media discovered that he was part of the attack but we cannot take any chances!" Nezu had insisted. "If the wrong people find out that All Might has been reduced to this there is no telling what could happen."
Yagi turned his tired gaze up to (x), he yawned. "Mrs. (L/N)?" He asked, "Why are you dressed like that...aren't you a bank teller?" Yagi mumbled. (x) couldn't help but chuckle, she supposed that she did resemble her mother a bit.
"It seems his memory is still pretty good..." She thought. "Well Yagi, I had a costume party to attend to with work, but I was heading home...did you want to come with me?" Yagi nodded, taking her hand. (x) didn't know how to feel, did this even count as lying? If she tried to explain everything that would probably just confuse him, and scare him even more. She looked in the rearview mirror, as Yagi slept in the backseat to her car. It really had been almost a lifetime ago since she had last seen him like this, his face unburdened and free. They would chase frogs along the rivers, and come home with handfuls of snails. As she tucked him into bed, and closed the door one thought was stuck on repeat. "I won't let anyone hurt you Yagi..." She clenched her fist. "I promise..."
"Excuse me, Mrs. (L/N)... where is (x)?" The morning had come warm, bright, and sunny. She had honestly forgotten how soft spoken and polite he had been as a child. Bright blue eyes hidden behind that mess of long blond hair.
"(x) is back home, I'm house sitting for my sister at the moment." She gently explained, seeing Yagi nod, and not even question her words...the conflicted guilt continued. She was unsure how long she could keep this up.
Keeping him entertained was thankfully easy, as a child his favorite place had always been the library, sitting in squashy bean bag chairs to read his favorite picture books. "And when the prince found the Sleeping beauty in her tower...he found the sight of her, alone in her chambers so sad and beautiful that he thought to depart from her with a kiss." (x) blew a raspberry on Yagi's cheek. His giggles were so loud, they found themselves outside the library with the book in hand and stern librarian closing the door behind. (x) sighed. "Nothing for it I suppose...it was getting close to closing time anyway..." Yagi shrugged.
"Yeah...but could we read the story before bed?" He asked. (X) nodded with a gentle smile. Bedtime...how long would this last anyway? She held his hand tight, her mind wandering as they walked home. As glad as she was to see her friend so bright, she missed him...the him she had grown old with, their memories and history...what if he didn't change back?
"Excuse me miss?" She turned, her hand still gripping onto Yagi's tightly. A tall man stood, with piercing eyes that seemed to see right through her. "I could use some help, I seem to be a bit lost..." He smiled, approaching slowly. "I came in from Saitama; my brother lives here in Musutafu." (x) stared him down. She didn't trust him. "Well, there is the transit train station about two blocks from here that way." She gestured down the street. "You should be able to find a map, and if you have a working cell phone you could call your brother and have him send you the address."
"I'll be sure to keep that in mind..." An arm suddenly hit her square in the back, catching her by surprise. She let go of Yagi's ahand and her blood ran cold.
"MISS (L/N)!" Her head whipped around as the man asking for directions grabbed her by the arm. She could see another individual, seemingly they had snuck in from behind to hit her and they had grabbed him.
"TOSHINORI!" She screamed, her other arm restrained as the kidnapper made for a waiting car.
"So, the rumours were right, he really was turned into a helpless little brat just like the others...I know a lot of people who would pay big bucks to bring the retired golden boy to safety, thanks for delivering the package hag." (X) snarled, her eyes flashing with rage as the car sped off.
"You haven't done your homework... DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM YOU SCUM!?" With a roar she broke from the assailant's hold. All he saw were stars and a flash of golden light as her fist collided with his face. She didn't even bother to take the time to see his body fall to the ground before she was off like a shot. She had a simple power up type quirk, nothing to write home about but she was not one to be reckoned with. "White...the car was white, blocked out windows..." They would be speeding. Her heart was racing as she screamed into her communicator, a direct line to the Fat Office hero agency. " This is (H/N) I was ambushed! Golden Eagle was taken! I repeat, Golden Eagle has been taken, I am in pursuit!" Her eyes caught a vehicle, a white car diving into a back street. "I HAVE VISUAL! Locking in my coordinates, send reinforcements as soon as you can!"
In the car, Yagi was shaking. His attacker was still holding him with an iron grip. "Dammit...that old hag is still after us!" Yagi craned his neck, his eyes wide as he looked out the back window. There she was, surrounded in gold and scarlet flames like a comet. "I guess the boss couldn't take her...dammit I thought they hired some daycare bitch like they did for the others! Not a pro!" Yagi's eyes flashed with anger at the insult.
"How dare they! (X) is an amazing hero, she's..." He froze, looking back. "(X)...that's (X)! Wait...why am I..." He looked down at his hands that suddenly felt too small. Yagi looked up as one of the other men in the car grabbed a huge looking gun.
"Doesn't matter, I'll take care of this!" Yagi watched in horror, covering his ears as it went off. His screams were drowned as the back window was broken, bullets raining down on (x).
"NO! (X) LOOK OUT!" She was too late, two of the bullet piercing her shoulders and making her fall to the ground, sliding painfully across the pavement. Yagi was shaking, tears rolling down his eyes. "YOU MONSTERS!" He screamed, he was met with laughter as one of them picked him up by the hair.
"Pipe down you brat!" They screamed into his face, throwing him to the floor of the car. He sobbed, his head aching where they had pulled as he felt the rumble of the car underneath. There had to be something he could do, there had to be. He was surrounded by smoke.
"Please...one last bit of strength..." was his last thought before the attacker's found themselves met with blue eyes that glowed like headlights, his memories flooding back as he towered over them. "One hit...I have one hit, make it count!" All Might, fully grown and already steaming as he strained to get in that one hit leaped to the front seat, crushing the steering wheel in one punch before falling to his knees.
(x) looked up, shaking as she watched in horror. The car swerved violently to the left, turning sideways. "YAGI! NO, YAGI!" She screamed, limping as she ran towards the vehicle, and overhead searchlights splashed over the scene like beacons as police sirens closed in. She froze, a figure climbing out of the window on the other side. He was frail looking, and thin with familiar golden hair. "Yagi...that's him!" Relief washed over as she tried to pick up the pace. With a wince she tripped, falling over onto the pavement once more.
"(x)! Hold on, don't strain yourself!" He coughed, turning his face as spat blood to the ground. "Could the say the same for myself I guess..." He cursed, kneeling beside her as the police inspected the vehicle, pulling out three unconscious but still very much alive men. (X) Cradled her arm, the blood from the two bullet wounds staining her clothes. "Shit...can we get some paramedics over here!?" Toshinori shouted, helping her sit up.
"You're here..." She took his hand, leaning against him as he held the back of her head with a small chuckle and a firm squeeze of her hand.
"Yeah...I'm here."
Author's Note:
OKAY that finally concludes the hit by a quirk series, with this out of the way I am looking forward to focusing on my other fic ideas! However, I am always open to ideas and suggestions! I also will be doing an announcement on some possible changes to the blog to expand our options outside of just My Hero.

Hit with a quirk: Pro heroes X teacher reader
Summary: A bunch of the pro heroes have been hit with a quirk that has turned them into Children. The UA students are trying their best along with the help of the home ec teacher.
(no warnings as this is all wholesome, comedic shenanigans.)
"Hizashi!?" Aizawa shouted, watching the tall man in front of him suddenly disappear. When Aizawa picked up the small lump that was left he froze, shocked to see not his friend but a small child. "You're...not Hizashi are you?" The small child looked up at Aizawa, screwed up his face and wailed. The sound made Aizawa almost drop the kid. "Yeah..." He grumbled, "That's Hizashi alright." The whimpering blonde child reached up, and touched Aizawa's face and suddenly smiled.
"Heh, you have a prickly cactus face!" As soon as Hizashi touched him the same smoke surrounded Aizawa, and he was left sitting on the concrete ground. He didn't remember why he was there, but it was night time and he was lost, scared, and with an extremely loud boy that appeared to be the same age as him.
Aizawa and Hizashi had been assigned to catch this villain with a rather obnoxious and unusual quirk, since he worked at night Aizawa was their best bet. When he failed to check in however, the pros went after him and needless to say hours later the villain was apprehended but almost all the pros at UA suffered the same fate.
Hizashi, Aizawa, Fatgum, and Tamaki were hit first, Taishiro and his intern being sent to check during his patrol. Hawkes and Endeavor were sent when Fatgum disappeared, and lastly AllMight was hit with the villain's quirk just as he was arrested along with several other heroes and officers. It was very embarrassing for hero agencies everywhere,  and on top of dealing with the media they now had seven children to coax for the next twenty four hours.
The home ec professor at UA who also specialized and taught pediatric quirk development had her hands full, the UA students helping out as best as they could.
(I'll start with Fatgum but will eventually write a small fic for each of the heroes mentioned!)

Gotta give some love and appreciation to this 10/10
Tumblr media
Worked on this on and off between commissions and getting back into art. The last year has been awful mentally and physically for me and my art suffered for it. I'm finding myself again and getting back to catching up on what I owe. But while doing so, I was pushing myself with trying to draw something I enjoy so I could love what I do again. So here this is, my Team Fatgum piece. If you know me, you know how important Fatgum is as a character for me and how much this team of characters brings me joy. This took so long to plan and even longer to draw because of my struggles and just wanting to do justice for the characters. I really hope you all like it and I do have it as a print for future shows.

“Worthy”
Fatgum x (F) Reader - fantasy AU pt 2
Summary: You move in with your new husband, and are struggling to adjust.
tw- Slowburn
---------
((Check out pt 1 as well! idk why the link says pt2 so sorry!))
---------
The northern mountains were a cold place, but it was nevertheless breathtaking. She stirred in the carriage, a thick wool blanket that she didn't remember covering herself in slipped from off her shoulders that she quickly retrieved as the chilly air bit at her. (x)'s eyes wandered to Taishiro, who was on the opposite side of the carriage. He took almost the whole bench to himself, his head drooped forward in deep sleep. Without hesitation she quickly draped the blanket over him, instead merely wrapping her cloak a little tighter. Besides, the sun was starting to peek through the thick pine trees, and she would warm up soon enough.
He awoke, to the sun catching his golden eyes and casting its light upon his beautiful bride. Though she now wore a much more simple gown, and her hair was no longer perfectly placed as attentively his heart skipped a beat. He felt the warmth of the blanket that now had her scent, he couldn't describe it. It smelled almost of cloves, like home. Taishiro straightened up, feeling his bones crack ever so slightly. "You didn't have to worry about me." He gently folded the blanket. "I am more than used to the cold."
(x) had been staring out the window, Startled out of her thoughts by his words. "Oh! I...I see, forgive me." She offered a small smile, looking into his face for only a moment. That beautiful face, his eyes glowing as gently as candlelight. She turned once more to the window, leaning out a little more with a small gasp at the first sight of the mountains. She had never been this close to the mountains before, her eyes sparkled as she looked out with wonder as the land stretched out before them. The sky was still pale, with soft hues poking through whispy clouds. The rays of sunlight making the leaves shimmer with norning dew, Taishiro couldn't help but smile.
"You are just as lovely as this dawn..." He thought, the words stilling on his tongue. He couldn't help but laugh to himself, he had never found himself so cowardly before. Taishiro leaned back, looking outside with fondness. "These lands are beautiful." He offered her a smile meeting her gaze. "I am glad you like them, I...hope to see more of them with you." She bowed her head, turning back to the window.
"I would like that very much..."
Trumpets, they filled the air as Taishiro's carriage came to stop in a grand courtyard. The stones were old, but the walls looked very strong. They passed a few guards through the right entrance, the castle itself resting on true North. There were white and golden banners of the yellow knight billowing in the breeze as Taishiro stepped out, his armour glowing in the sun. He looked up at (x) offering his arm. "Welcome to the Northern Stronghold...granted it isn't as grand as your estate." He sounded so hesitant, looking up her hopefully. "am sure we can make this place a home...together." She took his arm with a small smile and a nod, the sun catching her as she stepped from the carriage.
"All hail Lord Taishiro of the Northern stronghold, and presenting the esteemed Lady (x), his new bride!" The people cheered from the battlements and all about the courtyard along with Taishiro's men. "Long may you live!" A group of women from the village stepped forward, their faces soft and wrinkled with age as they presented (x) with a beautiful, warm new cloak. It was perfectly embroidered, lined with a soft fur. She recieved it with open arms, bowing very low as she held it close to herself.
"Thank you, deeply for this beautiful gift..." Her heart swelled, as she took one of their hands. "Your hands are all truly blessed." The ladies giggled amongst themselves like school girls and her heart raced. Had she done something wrong? They turned to Taishiro, who quickly stooped down. They seemed to almost dote on him like grandmothers. One of them pinched his cheeks, making his face burn.
"You have struck lucky young man, take care." They patted face, returning to the crowd. Taishiro could hardly bring himself to look at (x) as the crowd roared with joy.
"It's an old custom...many of these people came from my homeland, we were a humble farming village...those women practically raised me." He explained as they walked towards the castle entrance.
The castle itself was dark, lit by many torches and a large fireplace in the centre illuminated entrances to multiple halls as well as a singular stairway. Taishiro stood with (x) at the bottom of the stairway. He offered her a deep bow, "I'm sure that you're exhausted, allow me to introduce you to your new handmaidens miss. Tsuyu, and miss. Asui." Two bright young girls stepped forward from the line of servants that had greeted them at the door, offering warm smiles. “You do have your own room, while you settle in and acquaint yourself.” He added, waving the two girls to come closer.
"My lady..." They offered in unison, with deep bows. The young girl with long green hair addressed as Tsuyu stepped forward.
"Your bath is ready, and we will select something from your luggage for dinner this evening, the tailor will be here tomorrow if you wish to place orders for some warmer attire." They rambled on as such, as they quickly escorted her upstairs. She stole a quick glance, watching as Taishiro was whisked away by Tamaki.
It was her welcoming party that night, the entire castle had been in an uproar for the past week with all the preparations. Dignitaries and travelers from all over were filing into the castle, voices all buzzing with whispers of the rumoured beauty, and grace of Sir. Toyomitsu's beloved bride. (x) lowered her head as she walked through the dark drafty hallways. This place according to Taishiro had been abandoned for many years and was gifted to him after his great victory in the war. There was still slight decay in spots, and everything was quite dated. Livable, but she would have her work cut out for her. As lady of the estate, she was in charge of all the upkeep and affairs of the household, finances. Talking with dignitaries to citizens. Taishiro would often be sent away on international affairs, defending the outer territories, and that wasn’t even including his duties as the leader of his clan. Leading hunting expeditions, tending to fields. (X) Took a deep breath, stepping into her room where she was lead to a lovely bath. The scent of herbs and rose petals wafted into her nose as she lay back in the warm water.
It felt like alot, but she wanted to help him...any way she could. She would also be assisting in the political matters at times and this dinner tonight was her first test. She had always despised events like this. There was so much to remember, so many formalities, traditions...it was alot. As she was helped into one of her dresses, she was thankful that the main hall was already toasty with the large fire. The north was certainly cold. (X) Walked to the bannister, bagpipes and long golden horns playing to announce her arrival and the start of the party. “Hail (x) of the southern plains! May long she reign!” The cheers echoed in the hall, making her heart race as she approached Taishiro. Was she walking too fast, or two slow? The stares were awful. All eyes on her, her own gaze lowering quickly. Before she knew it she was at Taishiro’s side, everyone in complete silence. They all looked confused, her heart was racing as she looked to Taishiro for guidance.
In her homeland, the daughters of the lord and lady of the plains were essentially there to sit pretty, pretty and silent. Speaking with guests directly only when approached. Taishiro lowered his head, smiling gently. She looked so nervous, he squeezed her hand opening his mouth to speak to her when a sharp voice cut through her like a knife. “All this way, and all this celebration and she can’t muster a thank you?” The crowd parted for a rather underdressed guest. He was adorned with sharp animal teeth, and a cloak of fur. Katsuki, king of the Northern dragon tamers. He narrowed his eyes, crossing his arms. He was merely a boy, but make no mistake this was a true king. He approached (x) his gaze accusing. “What have you to say for yourself?!” Some others in the crowd seemed to nod in agreement, still looking at her expectantly. Her heart was pounding in her throat, shaking as she tried to form words when she heard Taishiro’s voice in her ear.
“Do you need me to take care of this?” He asked, she looked up. His eyes were fixed on Katsuki, burning in the fire glow. He stared the boy down, the anger made her nervous. She lifted a shaking hand, touching his arm.
“No...I can do this.” Her voice, was so small but the sound of it alone made his expression soften, stepping back but keeping a warning glare on Katsuki. (x) Approached the young king, bowing deeply. “Good evening to you all, forgive my silence...I am merely overwhelmed.” As she straightened up, the smile on her face was indescribable. She still lowered her gaze ever so slightly, but all in sight of her felt their hearts skip a beat. “I am overwhelmed,” she repeated, “and honoured beyond words for your most gracious welcome and hope that I get the oppourtunity to speak to each and every one of you.” She bowed again. “Thank you, thank you all for coming to welcome me to this beaituful region, and I am thankful that you all have arrived safely, may we celebrate not only my arrival but the future of the Northern stronghold!” The cheers filled the air once more and Katsuki scoffed, melting into the crowd once more.
Her heart raced as she took her place at the table. Music muffled in her ears as her head spun. She was shaking, staring into a bowl of hearty looking stew. It's warmth helped her stay focused, unfortunately on all the wrong things. The whispers of the crowd, the memory of Katsuki's voice ringing in her ears. She took deep breaths, wishing she could fo back to her room and that nice bath. She rubbed her face, her head was now pounding. (--) hardly noticed large figure drop down beside her. "I would gladly still pound that arrogant king's face in if you asked me of it..." A familiar whisper offered jokingly. (--) felt her chest flutter a little, looking up into Taishiro's kind face.
"Such a thing isn't necessary...really." She assured him, offering an embarrassed smile. "I'm...not used to speaking so openly, in my homeland the daughters were expected to just sit pretty, never speak." (--) explained. "Forgive me, I meant not to embarrass you my lord." Taishiro listened carefully and chuckled, it slowly turned into a rich laugh. She was already addicted to that beautiful sound.
"Embarrass me? Oh my dear...I promise." He slowly took her hand in both of his, strong calloused fingers running along her knuckles. "You could never do such a thing." He raised her hand a little closer to his lips, his eyes looking at her gently. "May I?" He asked, drinking in the very sight of her before him. A sight he could never grow tired of. She nodded, feeling her face burn as he softly pressed his lips along her hand. His eyes opening only for a moment as he hesitantly kissed her palm of her hand.
Her stomach twisted, and her chest ached as a thousand thoughts crashed into her head all at once. "What good am I to you..." she thought sadly, only to look up at see he had paused. His eyes looked surprised, those kind eyes. He looked like he longed to hold her, to bring her close. She covered her mouth. She had said that out loud? "Forgive me...oh forgive me." Her voice trembled, not realizing how tightly she had been holding his hand as she gently rose from the table, unnoticed by all except Katsuki as she retreated back to her room. Every part of her shaking, tears filling her eyes. She had hurt him, she must have.
Katsuki met Taishiro's gaze, shaking his head disapprovingly as he rejoined the festivities, leaving Taishiro to wonder on what grounds he could justify causing a child bodily harm. He watched the last glimpse of his beloved wife fade away as the music suddenly picked up, and everyone danced, making merriment. He wasn't angry, far from it. He just wished he could make her smile, make her see how sorely he wanted to love her. The gentleness in how she spoke to the staff and his people, the childlike wonder in her eyes as she looked at the land, the power and gratitude in her voice when she had apoken to the masses. He was falling in live with her, more and more just observing. He slowly drank from his goblet, raking his brain to think of something to say. Something he could do for her.
As the castle grew silent, the celebrations over. He stood outside her door in hesitation. He thought back to the night before, longing to just feel her close. However, he was sure she wanted space. His heart ached with every step that drew him nearer to his cold empty bed. The pillows would have to do, and he held one close to his chest, his tired heavy eyes closing as he fell into a deep but troubled sleep.
Wide awake, she was unable to sleep as she had watched the last of the sun set, and the stars all come out one by one. Her trembling had finally stopped racing, but she felt urgent. Like she could run at any moment, her chest still aching and her mind still numb from all the thoughts running through her mind. Even though the blankets were thick and she had been given an extra hot plate to warm the sheets it was somehow not warm enough. Her bed felt so empty. She closed her eyes and she suddenly felt his touch, those hands holding her own and those soft lips. Already she was forgetting the feeling of that one they had shared. Only yesterday it had been, but it felt far too long ago. She then saw his face, that beautiful kind face. He had looked so hurt, and in an instant pain washed over her. Tears began to roll down her face. She hurt him...she must have hurt him. What if he never looked at her with that kind expression again? (--) could hardly bare the thought as she pulled back the blankets and grabbed the thick cloak the elders had gifted her. She knew which room was his, and she ran for it, tears made her vision fuzzy as soft muffled sobs were drowned into the cloak.
She stood outside his door, staring at it hesitantly. "What if I wake him?...but, this can't wait." They were to spend the rest of their lives together, she couldn't ruin it in hardly a day. She lifted her trembling hand and knocked. Knocked ever so softly on the rich oak wood.
He was a light sleeper, turning over at the knock as he walked to the door. Taishiro opened it a crack and his heart stopped. There she was, tears running down her face. Her eyes were swollen, and she was shaking. Shaking like a leaf. He threw open the door immediately and dropped to his knees. Hands reached for her face, and that kindness. That gentle gaze alone was enough to send a whole fresh batch of tears. "Oh no...my precious one what's going on?...Please tell me." He was practically pleading, his heart had felt so heavy but here she was.. she had come to him, and he would do anything. He would break down a mountain to dry her tears if she asked.
She took a deep breath, determined to make her words clear and to really choose then carefully as she held his hand that pressed her cheek. "Taishiro...what I said, it seemed ti have hurt you so...and I am certain that I have hurt you." She did her best to stifle a sob. "And I could hardly hear the thought...I am sorry, I shouldn't have run...and I am sorry that I hurt you." The tears came all over again and she was suddenly encased in warmth. His heartbeat was fast but it was her ancor. A drum that seemed to be calling for her.
Taishiro wrapped his arms around her, tucking her into his chest. "No...no no, you didn't hurt me...I was sad, sad that you think of yourself like that." He explained. "You didn't hurt me, you don't embarrass me...(--) we have so much to learn together." Taishiro softly rested his lips on her forhead. "Your joy...your happiness, is mine to protect...and I see that you wish to do the same for me...I am beyond honored." He held her tighter. "You are more than I could ever want, or ever hope to find...in marrying you, I am truly blessed." His words made the tears turn warm and softer as she wrapped her arms around him to return the embrace. She leaned back, reaching her hands up to his face.
"If...I may..." She whispered, leaning forward. He got the message, his heart stopped as she hesitantly kissed him. It was unsure, but he could feel her reach around him, her hands gently rubbing his arms that always seemed to ache. Taishiro tilted up her chin, deepening the kiss as she parted her lips. They both slowly exhaled. His arms were still wrapped around her waist as he pressed his forehead to hers.
"There's not any way in heaven nor hell that I am letting you go now...(--)?" He looked into her eyes. "Please...would you stay with me tonight?...Please, may I hold you, just like this?" (--) kissed his chin, her lips sending shivers up his spine.
"Yes...I don't want to be alone..." She hid her face in his neck as he gently lifted her into his arms and carried her to his bed.
"As you wish..." He whispered, kissing her nose with a soft smile. "Thank you..."

As a fellow fatgum simp...may I request fantasy AU Taishiro
Tumblr media
You most certainly may! (Who's procrastinating moving their phone stuff even though it's practically the last day to do it? Ahah not me-)
Now I'm not gonna lie, I did panic a bit (in a good way? Idk if that makes sense, but, like, not entirely panic in a bad way) and go immediately to google to search for information about DND Barbarians. "Now, Ongui," (yes I'm using the nickname from taking a bunch of my letters out of my name, it's easier than typing out ThatOneFatgumSimp...I suppose I could also do Tofs, but eh calling me either is fine if you'd rather not type out my name.) "what does DND have to do with MHA?" You may ask. See, I was talking with my best friends the other day and (this is about to be a very long caption and I'm sosososo sorry in advance) it was about some Fatgum fanart I saw oddly enough. And we got around to ideal body types in terms of romantic partners. Like if I were to draw my dream boyfriend right this second, what would he look like? (I'm getting there, I promise.) So my mind immediately went to two sources. A Barbarian-like build and dadbod Fatgum. Someone who, at the core, is strong and can probably pick me up and carry me around, but with a bit of skwoosh on top as a cushion. So (I'm finally getting there, hold on. I'm so sorry TT TT) it's funny that you bring that up, cuz I was already starting to think about that sort of concept before you said anything. And before you ask, yes I did give him a dadbod best I can because I can and it's the best I can do at the moment cuz I'm still varying my body type drawing- TT TT
And now before I rant you into nonexistence with my never ending rambling, Fantasy AU Fatgum (sorry that was so long-winded 💀):

Also I'm ngl to you, I didn't know it was possible to simp for my own art- I-

Little Surprises
Sir. Nighteye x (f) reader: Winter has been long and unforgiving, but warmer days have finally arrived! You and Nighteye go to a spring Sakura festival. ((yeah yeah I know, Sakura festivals are a super campy overdone trope but in my defense I live in Canada and am just so TIRED of snow and spring in Japan typically means Sakura so…I do apologize.
(--) = insert name
_______________________   Soft pink blossoms littered the ground, covering the city parks in a blanket of petals. (--) however, was up to her ears in paperwork in a stuffy old office away from the warmth and sunshine. Her limbs felt heavy, and her head pounded from exhaustion. She rubbed her eyes, unable to remember the last time she had a decent night’s rest. Every day was beginning to feel the same, predictable. She tapped her pen on the table, everything just felt grey. “This is so dull…” She muttered, getting up to stretch her legs a little. Maybe some tea would help her recentre her focus. (--) closed the door to her office and made her way to the coffee room. There was thankfully a selection of teas to choose from, getting what was likely his tenth cup that day was Sir. Nighteye. He was discussing something with his secretary. He was writing notes quickly as Nighteye spoke without even looking up from his own binder.
“It may upset you that we are out of oolong.” He mused, giving (--) a small sideways glance. “Here, this ginseng will be better for energizing.” He offered the box. She smiled, taking the box with a thank you. Nothing ever slipped his notice, no surprises. (--) found herself able to relate somewhat.
“Thank you, I’m sure that I will enjoy it.” She gave him a wink as the kettle bubbled to life. His secretary gave Nighteye a polite bow before dashing back to his desk. “The Sakura trees started blooming, it was a beautiful walk on my way into the office this morning.” He took a slow sip of coffee.
“Yes…there’s a small spring carnival downtown this evening isn’t there?” He asked. “I…happen to have the night off, if you weren’t busy perhaps you would like to join me?” His tone was surprising, it was hesitant. (--) smiled, pouring her tea.
“I’m off at five…would you like to walk together if you don’t mind going in a suit?” She teased, making him audibly chuckle. “I think I would feel more comfortable in something less formal; I’ll meet you there.” He offered. -- The air still had a slight chill as she pulled her cardigan around herself. The warm lights strung around the trees were welcoming as she leaned on the bridge railing. There were young girls in beautiful yukata gowns, laughing as they walked together with groups of friends. There seemed to be an air of romance, awkward teen couples holding hands with bright red cheeks. Elderly couples sitting on park benches, children laughing with sparklers and colourful dango in hand. She turned to look at the sunset, lost in thought. “It’s a lovely evening.” His voice made her jump before she smirked.
“You make a habit of sneaking up on your dates?” She asked, leaning forward ever so slightly. He turned aside, a little surprised himself at how close she was. “No, I was simply not wanting to interrupt you…you seemed to be thinking rather deeply.” She shrugged, turning back to the sunset. “So, what would you like to do first?” He leaned beside her on the railing, and this time he was closer than she anticipated. His aftershave was a subtle, alluring scent. Unusual, he never wore anything scented in the office. (--) felt a flutter of excitement and for the first time in a long time she felt like she wasn’t on auto pilot, going through the motions. With a grin she took his hand, his eyebrows lifting in surprise. That was something he hadn’t felt in awhile either, surprise.
“Honestly if it’s all the same to you Sasaki, I want to do everything!” There was a laughter in her voice, a warmth to her face that seemed to shatter the glass that had left everything so muffled. Nighteye couldn’t help but smile, following her hand in hand into the lights and music. Sweet flavours of fried foods, she treated him to some refreshing homemade cold brew tea, not to mention the gentle smell of sakura blossoms that filled the air…it was indeed a magical night. As the moon began to peek over the horizon the two made their way over to some of the events. There were colourful stands with adorable stuffed animals, candies, lotions, all sorts of prizes to win and he did notice that an adorable pink cat seemed to catch (--)’s eye.
Sasaki stared at the stand. It was a game, simple in concept really. Toss a one hundred yen coin into a little cup and try to get it into the golden lucky cat cup for the better prizes. He approached the stand with a one yen coin in hand. The carnie smiled, waving his hand to Nighteye.
“Ah, another challenger? Toss your coin and test your luck!” Nighteye quickly scanned his eyes over the cups. Luck? That had to be a joke, luck had mothering to do with it, this was very obviously rigged. The cups were set into a flat plane of wood, it was impressive how well it was hidden but even without his quirk he noticed that certain cups…three to be exact. They were set a little lower, and the rims were smaller ever so slightly. With a flash of his eye, he tossed the coin. Then missed entirely. He listened to the coin hit the wood, how it sat there mocking him. He narrowed his eyes, the frustration bubbling up. Sasaki presented more yen coins, tossing over and over, a crowd had formed, some were even filming the fiasco as he tossed coin after coin.
“Isn’t that sir Nighteye!?” Some muttered, “he’s so intense…” (--) watched with a surprised yet concerned expression. He was lifting had to have been almost the fiftieth coin, almost five thousand yen in total…when he took a deep breath and tossed. It sailed, it landed…finally sliding into the cup with a satisfying clunk. Nighteye had to use every ounce of restraint, but in his head he stood victoriously, pumping his fist to the air, finally. He had finally tossed it in…then he was presented with a pack of chewing gum and much laughter. He thanked the carnie and stared at the gum in utter bewilderment.
(--) took his arm, laughing softly. “What was that all about?” She asked. He was still staring at the gum, looking just confused. “That cup looked…like it had a smaller rim, so I thought if I got in that cup it would win you the…cat stuffed animal you were looking at it, but then I sort of just…” He cleared his throat, putting the gum in his pocket as his face turned pink. “Forgive me I have a one track mind.” (--) leaned closer, smiling gently.
“Well…you didn’t really have to do that but thank you.” She smiled softly, her hand slipping into his as they walked under strung lights. “It was very sweet of you.” She added, leaning over to place a small kiss on his cheek. Sasaki squeezed her hand a little tighter, his face still stoic as he turned away ever so slightly.
“It wasn’t much of anything...but thank you all the same.” He chuckled, taking a moment to compose himself. Honestly he wanted to know all the ways she could steal his breath. Sasaki turned back to face her with a warm smile. “I really needed this…thank you, I don’t suppose you would like to do something like this again?” He asked. (--) laughed, moving closer once more. She thought for a moment, taking in the sights as they stepped away to the tree line.
“Promise that my answer will be a surprise?” She teased. He returned her laughter, rubbing small circles across her knuckles. “I promise.” He whispered, as they leaned against a tree. His hands for the first time felt so unsure as he wrapped his arms around her waist. (--) raised a brow, following in suit as a chilly breeze bit at her exposed legs. “You’re not cold?” He asked, his gaze trailing along her face. She shook her head, smirking.
“No…not at all, now as for your request.” She mused, feigning a ponderous look before breaking into giggles. “Oh how could I ever refuse.” She leaned into him, resting her face into his chest as she inhaled deeply. “I would love to.” She added. He raised his hands gently as she leaned her head back.
“I’m looking forward to it…” His lips hovered over hers, she kind of liked this side of him. Gentle, and slow. Day after day she would see him hard at work, his every movement exact and calculated. It was mesmerizing, and so different from this.
“It’s okay.” She whispered as she reached a hand to his face. The rest of the world seemed silent as they kissed below the tree, the lanterns and lights going off one by one as droves of people watched the fireworks streak across the sky. Ah yes, yet another pleasant surprise.

Sick day pt2
Tumblr media
Aizawa x (F) reader
Intro: So, ya’ll really liked this one! I have had some requests for a part two so here you go! I was hoping to have this for Valentine’s day but you know what? Not everyone is able to celebrate that day so let’s work around that.  summary: After taking care of Aizawa, he wants to make things up to you.
Warnings: None, tooth rotting FLUFF.
---
“You sure you will be okay?” (--) asked, puling up to the dorms. Aizawa nodded, undoing his seatbelt.
“Yes, I’m still a little under the weather...Nezu has me practically court ordered to rest for the rest of the week.” He sighed. “All Might is covering home room for the time being so I’m gonna have to deal with the aftermath of him spoiling them...” Aizawa added, looking a little extra unamused at the thought. (--) smirked.
“Well, I think you’re a little tough one them sometimes...you have an amazing class.” She smiled gently. “Those kids have a lot of respect for you, you should be proud.” Shota bowed his head politely as he opened the door.
“You have a point there...but still, if these are going to be heroes they need to know now what’s at stake, the pressure will only increase as they move forward.” (--) reached over to take his hand.
“I think you forget how much these kids have gone through.” She turned her head a little, trying to meet his eyes. He looked so lost in thought, and even he was too tired to hide the worry in his face. “Those kids have seen more in their first semester as students than most heroes see on patrol in their first year.” He chuckled.
“You got a point there too.” He looked over. “It’s selfish but...I suppose my own worries cloud my judgement.” Shouta got out of the car and stretched a little. “I guess I really do need the time off.”
(--) couldn’t help but laugh, starting up her car. “No one needs this more than you.” She waved to him, pulling away to leave him staring at the back of the car.
---
The weather was chilly, and (--) could see the students whispering. Love was in the air, and valentine’s day was approaching. Pink and red were everywhere, even some of the teachers were talking about plans for the big day. (--) however, didn’t have much on her mind as the day drew nearer, and she eventually found herself alone in her apartment that night.
She poured herself some tea, gently inhaling the fragrance as she wrapped herself up in a warm knitted cardigan. Soft music played from her laptop as she finished her tea and fell asleep in her cozy living room. Peaceful, and content.
It had been nearly a week since she had helped Aizawa in the hallway when she heard a somewhat familiar, hesitant soft tap on her office door. She didn’t look up from her notes just yet, spinning around in her chair. “Midoriya, I am afraid that Recovery Girl isn’t due back from her break for a few more minutes but I’m sure I can-” She looked up, raising her brows. It wasn’t the familiar sight of Izuku but rather, Shouta. “Oh! Hello!” She smiled, putting down her notebook. A small flutter of excitement rippled in her stomach. Why was she so excited to see him? She wondered for a moment but it was swiftly forgotten as he stepped in, holding something behind his back. “You know I admit I am relived to report that I have not seen Midoriya for a few weeks now, I think it might be a new record.” He chuckled softly.
“He’s come a long way.” Shouta shifted to the side, still not revealing what was behind his back. He swallowed the lump in his throat, the now likely crumpled roses behind his back felt clammy from his sweaty palms. “Speaking of your...well, remedial skills...” He tried to stand a little straighter. “I, wanted to thank you again for all your help and well.” He handed her the roses, pink and white. They looked so delicate in comparison to his rough hands. “And with these comes a question.” He took a quick deep breath as (--) carefully took the roses. “Would you allow me the pleasure of taking you out for dinner tonight? Nezu...well, is allowing me to teach but has still requested I refrain from night patrols for another week...” (--) smiled, standing up with the roses in hand.
She leaned over, giving him a small kiss on the cheek. “I would love that.” He stood a little too stiffly, silently lifting his goggles to his eyes in hopes that it would hide his face. (--) giggled, leaning a little closer. “You look a little red...are you sure you’re no longer feverish?” He cleared his throat.
“I am not.”

The light poured in from the many windows. Colours illuminated her veiled face from the stained glass behind the altar, the guests whispered and stood agape as the chapel filled with song. The upper floors were filled with a large choir, their voices only adding to the ethereal atmosphere. She walked with no one at her side but those closest to her walked ahead of her in procession, slowly filling the seats to one side. Her eyes slowly lifted to the ceiling to look at the beautiful crystal chandeliers that caught the light and made sunspots dance. The ceiling and walls were painted with intricate images of angels dancing among the clouds, the pews were polished wood, the carpet was red. (--) felt her heart racing, doing everything she could to look everywhere but the altar. Anywhere, focus on anything but the man that would soon stand before her. They had only met once, when her father offered her hand. They were not permitted to even speak to one another. Eventually her entourage opened the way for her to finally stand before the altar. Then, and only then did she look.
Her heart skipped a beat as she gazed upon him, His armor was well polished and reflected the many lights and colours of the room. Taishiro, he walked down the couple steps towering over her to offer his arm. It was expected of him. This was an obligation, wasn’t it? She thought to herself, but his eyes seemed to contradict all she had been told. That this marriage  was beneficial, ceremonial. That it meant nothing. As he reached his arm towards her, (--)’s heart skipped a beat. He was smiling, it made his face look so soft and kind. Her eyes finally met his, and they were as warm as his smile.
Taishiro could hardly breathe, his nerves a bust as he stood beside (--). She looked beautiful, was he even permitted to think such a thing? He felt his heart grow heavy as she looked away and turned to the priest. “Surely, she agreed to this only out necessity? It is simply only her duty...” He took a deep breath. “As her to be husband...I only wish her happiness.” He saw something in those eyes of hers, and he longed to explore it. To learn the stories that were behind them and how life shaped that hypnotizing gaze. However, if her happiness meant that the closest he could be was at an arm’s length, then it would be so.
“You may kiss your bride.” The old priest announced with a bow.
(--) turned to face him, her fingers twisting the beautiful ring that now adorned her hand. She suddenly looked up in surprise, his large calloused hands taking hers with such a gentleness that she had never known. He was still smiling, his touch made a tickle run down her spine. He leaned forward, her heart racing with apprehension as their families cheered and sung together. Once again he surprised her, leaning to her ear. “If you permit me, may I?” He whispered, there was no hiding the hopefulness in his voice, but his question was so earnest and sweet. Her nerves ebbed away ever so slightly and she looked into his eye as he drew back to steal another longing gaze. (--) smiled, and he felt himself grow weak.
“Yes...you may.” He gently held her face with a shaky hand. It was as though he already knew every curve of her as he gently brought her close, his kiss was light and left her feeling guilty for wishing it had been longer as he left the smallest, sweetest kiss on her lips. They left the church in a grand parade towards her parent’s estate to join the festivities, and for the rest of the night as (--) danced with him her heart grew heavier and heavier. “This is only an obligation...that is all he thinks of this isn’t it?” She didn’t know what to do, things were moving far too quickly. Wasn’t it dangerous, to fall in love so fast?
The party dragged well into the night and (--) felt that she would pass out from the heat, waiting for a moment of respite. She found her way to the gardens, where she had spent much of her formative years. Often when her parents held parties, she would escape here. Walk by the pond, and watch the bees fly amongst the flowerbeds. She lay back in the grass, looking up at the stars as her dress billowed about her. (--) removed her shoes, breathing deeply. The snow was finally gone, the dampness dried up from warm sunny days but the air still clung to the chill in the evenings. She remained outside until she heard the music starting to die, and with it her heart sank as she walked back to the castle. Her stomach was tying itself into knots, she looked hesitantly into the ballroom. He was speaking to her guardian, unable to hear what they were saying but a part of her guessed it.
More marital obligations.
(--) Found the nearest servant and requested they inform Sir Taishiro that she would be in their room if he needed her. As she made her way to the room, her heart was pounding, her hands shaking as she opened the grand door. The room was warm from an already lit fireplace, beeswax candles scented with lavender made her feel somewhat more eased but she still felt dizzy with worry. Two handmaidens that were waiting for her. Silently they helped (--) get out of her wedding attire and into a comfortable nightgown. One of her own, but for the first time she noticed how thin the fabric was. How exposed her chest and neck felt. She got under the blankets and thanked the two ladies, insisting they could take their leave and she would be alright on her own.
Taishiro went to the armory, his brows knit together. “Sir Tai?” A young man called. He felt at ease to see a familiar face, smiling.
“Ah there you are Tamaki...I didn’t see you at the festivities after the ceremony.” Tamaki, his apprentice immediately came forward to start removing the ceremonial armor. He chuckled.
“I don’t much care for parties.” He shrugged, carefully twisting out the bolts and sliding off the leather straps. “What do you think Taishiro?” Tamaki asked, putting the armor pieces one by one onto the work table. He rubbed his tired face, thankful to stretch properly. He pulled off the chainmail underneath himself, his yellow tunic loose on his soft body.
“I think...that she is beautiful, and I only hope that she wants to know me as much as I long to know more of her...” Tamaki nodded, taking the chain mail and carefully putting it on the table.
“Well, tell her that...when the time is right, you both have a long future together.” He smiled, “take your time and show her all the kindness in the world.” Taishiro chuckled.
“You are wise beyond your years, thank you Tamaki.” He left the armory, and as he found himself at the staircase he saw a young woman waving, one of the servants.
“Her ladyship awaits in the bridal chamber, she retired earlier.” She bowed then went about her business before Taishiro could even properly thank her. He went up the steps, his own heart racing as he approached the door.
When he opened the door he was surprised that the candles still burned, bathing the room in a soft glow. She was sitting up in bed, looking out the window and lost in thought. He had opened the door quietly in case she was asleep and she had not yet seen him. Taishiro stepped back, his face burning. “What do I do?” He thought, without even thinking he suddenly knocked. Making (--) her  attention to the door. “Hello?” She called hesitantly. He cleared his throat and approached.
“uhm, (--)? Forgive me I should have knocked before opening...I uhm...may I come in?” He wanted to kick himself, they were married he should probably just go in but...that felt so rude. His nerves eased as she offered him a sweet smile and nodded. He was unsure if he was overthinking it but, she seemed tense to him. Maybe she was just as nervous as he was. He politely bowed, entering the room. He didn’t think much of it, but he kept his back to her, just wanting to take off his smelly tunic.
When he removed the tunic, the light bouncing off his soft looking bare chest her heat skipped a beat, and she slowly lowered her gaze. Every part of her trembled. “He...expects this of me?” She looked back up, he still wore his trousers, rummaging through his trunk of clean clothes. “I...well, that is my duty is it not?” She could barely breathe as she slid her legs our from under the covers to sit on the edge of the bed. Her fingers lifted to the buttons of her nightdress. She she undo them? Or wait did he want to? (--) felt sick to her stomach, did...did she even want him to? Did she even want this? She wanted to run, run as far and fast as she could. Her fingers struggled with the buttons as she continued to tremble.
She had only undone the top button when those familiar hands took hers. (--) looked up, and he was kneeling beside the bed, his eyes looking into hers. “You’re shaking like a leaf...” He lowered his gaze, caressing her hands and just looking at them. As though he were memorizing their every detail before looking into her eyes again. “I am your husband...you are my wife, by title and ceremony yes however I believe there should be more to a marriage than duty, obligation and rules...” His thumb continued to run circles along her knuckles. He knew it, she was so nervous. Only a few hours they had shared, and already his heart ached to see her like this.
“I could hardly call myself a man if I brought on you such fear...” He hesitantly lifted a hand to her face. “I am your husband...and that means to me, that your happiness and safety are something that I must protect with the same ferocity that I use to safeguard our people.” (--) listened carefully, her shoulders finally loosening, her breaths free. “So, I swear to you that only when you permit me, when you are ready...we will share those more intimate experiences of this journey.” (--) could hardly speak as tears of relief silently poured down her face. He took her hand and placed on it a gentle kiss before he finished getting ready for bed. He blew the candles out for them, making sure the fire wasn’t too large before he too went to sleep.
(--) felt the bed sink as he got in beside her, and although she was relived she could hardly relax. “He is disappointed, he must be.” She closed her eyes. He was a mighty warrior, respected, and renown. Surely he could have found any number of women that were more suited. “I am hardly worthy.” Was her last thought before falling into a troubled sleep.
