getting cheated on

Want I just posted was a part of the text of one of the best songs ever written: you‘re so vain. The line describes my situation just perfectly. After a long term relationship and talk about moving in together and our shared future I found out 3 months ago that my ex-boyfriend cheated on me for half a year with 3 different girls. One of them he even committed to. He basically had 2 girlfriends and an affair. After finding out I did what I had to do I informed his second girl and affair of the situation. Both of them cut the ties and I was too naive to leave him right away. Yes it took me about 3 weeks to finally call it quits. Getting cheated on sucks. Not only is your heart broken but your trust, faith and confidence too. The feeling of not having known your partner for such a long time is extremely draining. Feeling like you weren‘t enough is hard. But the truth is that no matter what happens you are enough. Your partner just wasn’t mature or brave enough to commit and mean it. They caved in. It is not your fault ! With this post I wanted to send much love to those who got cheated on! You are enough, there will be your Person somewhere out there. Healing takes time so take it <3
