《Lu Rou Fan 卤肉燥饭》 Chinese Braised Minced Pork Rice . . . I’ve been wanting to cook this dish for a long time～～Finally I cook it today.👏 Fortunately, this dish is easier than I thought.In fact, I have been slow to cook this dish because it needs fried shallots.Frying has always been my weakness,because I’m afraid of the oil.I’m afraid not just because the fried foods are greasy and unhealthy. I’m more afraid the hot “dancing” oil bombs on me. Although my private “chef” always told me if there is no water on the food,there is no need to be afraid. But....I was still afraid.😩However, when I fried the shallot the oil really did not bomb out.So after I was done with the fried shallot, I also fried the garlic slices!🤣Now I can also collect a can of the shallot oil to use for other dishes. Actually this was another reason why I don’t like fried foods — they always leave a lot of oil. . . However,fried shallots is a really indispensable seasoning in this dish. . Crispy Anchovies with Petai 脆脆江鱼仔配臭豆 . hmm....I just want to say one thing “oh😯The bitter beans (petai）very delicious even without sambal😝" . This dish was seasoned with only two seasonings,it may look simple but it is tasty.Normally many people love to use sambal(Malaysian special fried chilli paste) to cook petai.I used to do the same.After I tried this recipe I found that sambal is not necessary for petai.I like that sweet and salty taste and the crispy anchovies I feel that I can add some roasted peanuts next time. opss I had said more than one thing🤣 . . 只想说一句 “哦😯原来臭豆不一定配sambal才好吃耶😝” 这煮法只用了两种调味品来调味，也许看起来很简单但是却很好吃。一般上大部分人都会使用sambal炒臭豆，当然我也不例外。可是尝试这个食谱后，我发现原来臭豆不一定和sambal才是绝配。我很喜欢那种甜咸的口味再搭上香脆的江鱼仔口感，我觉得下次可以加上一些烤香的花生一起吃应该非常下饭。 ops 我的一句变了无数句🤣 ——— Ingredients Bitter Bean - 200g Dried Anchovies - 50g Red Onion -1 Sugar - 1tsp Salt -1/2tsp ——— Directions 1.Heat the oil and deep fried the dried anchovies until golden brown.Set aside. 2.Leave a little oil sauté the red onion until it is slightly transparent.Pour in the bitter beans(petai) stir fried until cooked. 3.Season with salt and sugar and stir well. Homemade Matcha Milk Spread 自制抹茶牛奶酱 . . . As a matcha lover I naturally want to take a try of this spread.I originally wanted to buy this spread imported from Korea directly but the price is quite expensive.😅So I decided to search the recipe from YouTube and as expected many people shared it. I didn’t like to eat shrimp since I was a kid but not because I lazy to peel the shrimp shell(ok maybe have 10% lazy🤣) I just really don’t like the taste of shrimp.When I was a kid I always dipped a lot of sauce to cover the taste of shrimp.😅😅Actually I will start to eat shrimp also because of I fell in love with cooking. But I still feel that it is very troublesome to handle shrimp.
