Hi, I don't know if you remember but we used to chat on deviantart a few years back. Well life happened and I stopped drawing but I started up again and thought of all the awesome people I met on Deviantart and saw you had a tumblr! I'm following you now and glad to see you are drawing still! Looking forward to seeing your art!

For this Halloween I decided to go for the Team Harmony monsters (My version of the MLP gang) We have Tara Gordon (Twilight Sparkle) as a Witch, Eleanor Wu (Rarity) as the Bride of Frankenstein , Betsy Brauer (Pinkie Pie) as the Creature,  Jacqueline Taimanov (Applejack) as a Werewolf, Juanita Gutierrez (Rainbow Dash) as a Vampire, Bahiya Ansari (Fluttershy) as a Mummy

Living in sub-Sahara Africa and Columbia (will get to that part later) the hippopotamus lives in the rivers and swamps of the great Savannah and the Colombian Rainforest (Again we'll get to that part)Here the Hippos mostly stick in groups where relax and mingle among each other. For the longest time it was believed that Hippos were related to pigs but in reality they are related to whales and dolphins. They are able to hold their breath for up to five minutes in the water and despite their large size are graceful swimmers. Hippos are what you would call an animal that goes with the saying "if you leave it alone, it will leave you alone." Despite being vegetarians, being seen as these hilarious creatures we see in cartoons, but in reality they are the most dangerous animal in Africa. Killing more people than any other animal. Their sharp teeth and large size are used to fight off grade A predators such as lions, crocodiles, hyenas and especially themselves. Hippos are known for being territorial. Male Hippos fight for territory and females and the fights are brutal. Often leading to death and other hippos and animals getting caught in the crossfire. The hippopotamus is endangered due to Habitat loss and being hunted for meat and their ivory teeth. And while in Africa their numbers are dwindling, in an unexpected place their numbers are thriving and that is in the South American country of Columbia. Originally four hippos were owned by the Drug Kingpin, Pablo Escobar. However after Escobar's death, the Hippos managed to escape and what started off as four, currently came to eighty. Despite this, the locals have learned to live with the Hippos and they proved to be one of the very few invasive species that actually has been a benefit to the ecosystem. The future of the Hippo is unknown but let us hope that they spend many more years on this planet.

While the Germans were the first to use the modern jet fighter, it would the Russians who would bring in it into the new era. Using captured Nazi scientists the Soviet Air Force would create the MiG-15 "Fagot" (Blame NATO for it's unfortunate name) and would bring in the new age of the fighter jet. The MiG-15 would first be used in the final days of the Chinese Civil War in 1949. where the MiG fighters would help the Communists take down the Nationalist Chinese's American supplied P-38 Fighter planes and B-25 Bombers. But the MiG 15 would get it's chance to shine over the skies of Korea. After North Korea invaded the South, the UNited States and it's allies would push back the North Korean advanced using their planes from World War II and even their own jet fighters. Wanting to help out their ally, the USSR would send their newest MiG-15s to North Korea and China who just entered the war. Here the MiGs would take down American planes without any mercy. Above the Yalu River that bordered North Korea with China became MiG Alley where many of the US and UN pilots were shot down. While there were some North Korean and Chinese pilots, the MiG-15 was mainly flown by Russian pilots as the Chinese and North Koreans didn't have experienced pilots and the Soviet Union didn't trust their Asian allies with the fighter as much as they should have. This was suspected when many American pilots heard Russian being spoken through the radios, but the Soviet Union denied any involvement and Russia still does to this day, only for it to be confirmed by former pilots.The United States managed to counterattack with their newest jet fighter the F-86 Sabre which proved to be a challenge for the MiG. After the War, A North Korean pilot by the name of No Kum-sok flown his MiG-15 to enemy lines where he would defect giving the US the MiG and receiving $100,000 ( A million in today's money) The study of the MiG would help America's allies in the future. For the other Soviet Allies the MiG would be the standard fighter for the Warsaw Pact and other allies of the USSR. However they would prove to be unsuccessful with them. With Skirmishes being fought in all of Eurasia, but it would be 1956 that would be the MiG 15's greatest failure. During the Suez Crisis, the Egyptian Migs would go head to head with British, French and Israeli planes and while some managed to get good hits in most were obliterated by the allied forces and in that same year the Communists Chinese in an attempt to take Taiwan would use Mig-15s . And despite outnumbering the Taiwanese forces, the Taiwanese pilots managed to hold their own and fend off their Communists counterparts. It was here that the USSR decided it was time for an upgrade and would retire the MiG-15. Today it is still used by the North Korean Air Force as a training jet.

Outside of the main battlefield of the Clone Wars, one group performs underground tasks that not many know about. These are the Clone Commandos! The Republic's best special forces units. Being made up of a four man squad, the Commandos go behind Separatists lines to perform the dirty work for the Republic. They do missions such as scouting, sabotage and assassinations while the being skilled in many abilities that helped them survive on the battlefield. Here we meet  the best known Commando Squad. Scorch (Yellow and gray) the demolitions expert, Sev (Red) the sniper, Fixer, (Green) The technician and Boss (Orange), the leader of the squad. Jeez it's been a long ass time since I've done anything kaiju related. So let's go with the one that doesn't get enough love: Gamera. Based off the 1971 Gamera vs Zigra where an alien shark monster named Zigra comes into the conquer the earth because humans have ruined the planet so it's up to Gamera to stop him!..The film is sadly not as great as it sounds, but hey still gotta give Gamera his attention.

When people think of famous last stands, many would think of the 300 Spartans and their allies during the Battle of Thermopylae against the Persian Empire, or The Texans defense at the Alamo against the Mexican army, but one people tend to overlook is when 21 Indian Soldiers took on 10,000 Afghan Rebels in the battle of Saragarhi in 1897. In 1878,The United Kingdom would invade Afghanistan for a second time after they faced a humiliating defeat in the country in 1842. This was an attempt to expand the empire but also to create a buffer zone with it's rival, Russia, who was also aiming for control of Central Asia. Using the help of Indian Colonial troops, the British would conquer the nation in 1880. However the British like many empires before and after it, taking over the country was easy, keeping control was the hard part. Throughout the years, Afghan rebels would target British Personnel and to the British these rebels would become a problem for them. The British would set up their position near a small town called Saragarhi, where it would be called Fort Lockhart. The 36th Sikh Regiment of the British Indian Army was sent to guard the Fort. At first the regiment was originally made up of 912 but several companies were called to help British forces elsewhere thus decreasing the numbers at the fort until only a handful of soldiers guarded the fort. Throughout later August and early September of 1897, Afghan rebels would constantly attack the fort with the Indian Soldiers pushing them back. Until finally on September 12 1897, 10,000 Afghan rebels would band together. With the only 21 Soldiers left at the Fort, the Indian Soldiers were outgunned and outnumbered 100 to 1. At first the Indian Soldiers tried to call for Reinforcement, but the British Commander, Colonel Haugton, told them he couldn't help them. That being said under the leadership of Halvidar (Indian equivalent to Sergeant) Ishar Singh, inspired his men to fight to the bitter end! When the Afghan rebels attacked, the Indians fought hard. At first two soldiers of the company died. At first the leader of the rebels tried to convince the soldiers to surrender but the soldiers refused. The Afghan rebel made two attempts to breach the walls of the Fort, but they failed. The Third time they were more successful. It is here where the Sikhs would face the rebels in one of the most intense moments of hand to hand combat. However, all but one died. One soldier remained by the name of Gurmukh Singh, contacted the British saying he killed 20 Afghans, and that they would have to burn the fort down to kill him. In his last words he yells the Sikh Battle cry "One will be blessed eternally, who says that God is the ultimate truth!" The rebels successful, decided to move on to their next target. But British reinforcements finally came and pushed back the rebels. The Battle of Saragarhi, I believe is one of the most under looked last stands in history. With 21 soldiers of a nation that was conquered by an empire that only saw them as inferior. They fought to the last man, and their heroics should be remembered.

So here's Eleanor Wu (My version of Rarity)wearing those face masks that you see a lot of Chinese people wearing which leads me to my point I want to get out. So in case you have been living under a rock, the new hip sickness called the "coronavirus" has swept the world by storm, with the source being from China. Many theorize that the pandemic started from the Chinese wildlife trade, where someone ate bat soup in the city of Wuhan and thus the disease spreading as currently the death toll has reached 1,300. Well that's from official records though knowing the Chinese government it's probably higher. That being said because the disease originated from China, many East Asians living abroad have faced severe racist attitudes. Saying that the Chinese are dirty, diseased and not normal. That they should not be able to move around for risk of spreading the virus. The idea that the Chinese will eat anything. Even a few cases of attacks against Asians such as the case of a woman who was attacked on a New York City Subway. Even NonChinese Asians such as Koreans, Vietnamese and even Japanese have also faced these racist insults as well (Because ya know they all look the same). So let's get something out of the way do I believe China's wildlife trade is dangerous should be stopped and banned? Of course because half of the species there are endangered and it is a health hazard in general,But you know how much crap we eat here in the US?! (Only referring to America because I don't know much other countries food works out health wise) People accuse the Chinese of eating things such as Dogs, cats, bugs, snakes and bats, but here in America, there are people that'll eat Squirrels, rats, deer, and even alligators! Not to mention the sheer amount of food that gets called back due to health concerns but by then millions of people already got it. Many people's drinking water is contaminated, 14,000 people die from the flu every year and to top it all off, we got these crazy anti vaxxers letting their kids run around without getting their shots thus letting age old diseases make a comeback all because they don't want their kid to get autism. (As someone with Asperger's Syndrome that alone pisses me off) You want proof of this? Last year during my last semester of university we had a mumps outbreak. You heard me a mumps outbreak! Now am I saying we shouldn't be concerned about the coronavirus? No it is a serious matter, but keep in mind it's just like how AIDS, bird flu, swine flu,and Ebola was portrayed. A disease from a foreign land, that won't effect many people in the West, but it's exploited by the media to give off racists and xenophobic fears. Anyway rant over. Still Eleanor still knows how to look fabulous in that face mask.

This is the Western Honeybee. The most famous bee right next to the Bumblebee. Honeybees live in hives where they produce honey for the queen, the young to eat. But also is eaten by humans and bears. Specifically a yellow one with a red shirt. Along with producing honey, honeybees pollinate the world's plants that is used to make the whole ecosystem running. However in recent years, the honeybee population has been declining. With the no clear answer as to why. Many blame the pesticides, others blame cell phone signals for messing up the bees sense of the direction, and climate change is a prime candidate for obvious reasons. Whatever the case if these little guys go then WE'RE ALL SCREWED!!!

Found in Southern Africa,the Black Rhino is referesed the "black" for it's darker form of gray compared to the White Rhinoceros. Not to mention Black Rhinos have a hooked lipped while White Rhinos have a square one. The Black Rhino is very aggressive and very territorial. Willing to fighting anything or anyone that it deems a threat. And with it's poor eyesight and not being the brightest of animals, that happens a lot more than it should. the Black Rhino is a species that has been around since prehistoric times. However in recent years the numbers of Black rhinos have declined quickly due to the amount of poaching and habitat loss with their horns used in illegal trafficking as they are used for traditional east Asian medicine and other factors as well. Because of this the species is considered critically endangered,

After conquering most of Western Europe, in the early summer of 1940 Adolf Hitler and the Nazis sent their sights to take the United Kingdom out of the war.At first Hitler just wanted Britain to surrender, claiming he'll leave them alone while he focuses all his attention on invading Russia. However Britain along with it's new Prime Minister, Winston Churchill, were not willing to give up so easily. Furious by this, Hitler ordered for a plan to invade the British Isle. Operation Sea Lion was supposed to be Germany's invasion plan of Great Britain. However being an island nation, with a strong navy and air force, conquering Britain would be no easy task. So the Nazis would send in the Luftwaffe, the German Air Force to attack targets such as ships, airfields and other key positions. However the Royal Air Force proved to be a challenge for the Germans. Because military targets weren't working, the Germans then begin to bomb civilian populations with cities such as London, Liverpool, Glasgow, Belfast, and Birmingham being targets. Despite this the British still fought on and defeated the Germans. This proved a key victory against Hitler as it was the first major defeat for Germany. However despite that Britain would still be bombed by the Germans until May 1941, because it was realized that the air raids would not demoralize the British people and the fact that Germany needed it's air force for the upcoming invasion of Russia in June.

Grimlock is awesome! I mean if you ask most transformers who is their favorite dinobot, it would be Grimlock. I don't know why, it just he has a charm. Although in Season 3 of the G1 series he and the other dinobots would be used for comic relief and while I kinda thought they were funny like episodes like Grimlock's New Brain, but it really downgraded the character. My favorite version of the character is the badass leader of the Dinobots who takes no shit from anyone and butts heads with his superiors. While tough he's got a...interior of gold.
