I keep coming back to this shot in Godzilla Minus One because it's basically perfect. As a classic Kaiju scale shot, it honestly can't be beat.
From the perspective of those beneath him, the only thing larger than the monster is the shadow of destruction left in his wake.
Normally the scale shot compares humans and their buildings to the monster, but in this one the monster is dwarfed by its own devastation, and I just think that's beautiful on so many levels.

As per tradition, during the Halloween season, my hubbers and I watch a horror movie/show every night in October.
Last night’s movie was Bram Stoker’s Dracula and it’s always a good time. Sex, gore, amazing visual effects (love all the forms Dracula takes on) and, of course, some TERRIBLE acting by our favorite living action figure Keanu Reeves and Never-Heather Winona Ryder.
If you haven’t seen it yet, DO. It’s fun and smexy with a great cast even though the line delivery is rough in certain scenes.

Dude, you have got to be seriously fucking dense to think Interview With The Vampire wasn't always gay as fuck. It's literally about two dudes that love sucking on body parts living alone and adopting a kid together. That is not a subtle metaphor.

So... a monster and/or slasher-type boogeyman is in your neighborhood, Voorheesing all over the place...
Now, your first instinct is going to be to go to the cops with whatever evidence you have and beg them to believe a supernatural murder machine both exists and is not already on their payroll.
This is wrong. That's how you wind up in a tense handcuffed escape from the back of a patrolcar before the wolfman finishes tearing out Spec-Ops Barney Fife's liver in the front seat.
Instead, Give 'em the Reverse Scooby-Doo™:
"Some methhead in a Halloween mask is running around attacking people. I think he's got a knife, I didn't get a good look."
Now. You know that its really Dracula on a rampage and that mortal weapons won't work on him...
But who are they going to believe? You, or the dried husks of an improbably exsanguinated SWAT team?

The fact that Godzilla's atomic breath actually scorches him in Godzilla Minus One is a fantastic little detail.
Remember when we all saw this clip and we thought "what the hell did that to him?"
But that was him! His wrath, his fury, his flames burned so hot that it boiled the water around him and burned his flesh away. His roar isn't merely one of absolute victory, but also of indescribable suffering. A hate so powerful that it burns the one holding it is an apt metaphor.
Imagine the kind of pain he must be in, and yet he continues to freely use this terrible weapon, like stabbing a knife into someone while holding the blade. It's as if he couldn't care less.
"I know I will heal." he's probably thinking, "But you won't."
