i truly believe that most white USamericans have never had a conversation with somebody who doesn't speak much english irl, and that's why they are so nasty towards palestinians online - bc not only can they not fathom somebody not knowing "casual" (americanised) english, they also see palestinians (and let's face it, poc who don't speak english well / at all too) as being less intelligent for it too. this is because of racism 👍🏾

REBRANDING YOURSELF

Rebranding is a process in which you redefine who you are and how others perceive you. Each journey of rebranding yourself is personal and individual. When you rebrand yourself, you further align yourself with your higher you. This post is a guide to getting started on your journey!
UNDERSTAND YOUR CURRENT SELF.
So, take a step back and think about who you are as an individual right now. What are your values and beliefs? Does your external self reflect your inner self? Are you comfortable in your current environment?
These questions and more will help to see which aspects of your life you may need to redefine. See if there’s anything that doesn’t align with your higher self.
After that, pick those aspects that need to be redefined. Why do you want to change this? How has this been impacting you internally/externally? Does this aspect stem from your environment or yourself? See why this aspect needs to be improved.
DESIGNING YOUR BRAND
This is more of a fun step! So, using your aspects design how you want that specific thing to look and feel like. Avoid being vague or non-specific. Try to put in as much detail as you can for each aspect.
If you’d prefer, you don’t have to use ‘aspects’ and instead use your life generally. This is your redesign, so do whatever is more comfortable and achievable for you.

You can do this any way you want. The one I would recommend for redesigning your life would be a vision board, preferably a physical one. If you don’t want to do that, there are still a lot of options such as writing it down into a pretty poster, creating a playlist that will reflect your brand, creating a pretty list, or having sticky notes around your room as reminders.
Be creative and detailed with this. You should spend at least an hour if not more trying to redesign your life/aspects.
CREATING GOALS
Goals are so important, especially when we are moving in a different direction than we were before. As we’ve got the current status of who we are and what we want to be, creating goals should be easy.
Make your goals visible. Put a sticky note on your mirrors, put it as your laptop background, put a reminder on your phone, listen to a playlist that motivates you of your goals or anything else that will constantly remind you of your goals.
Other than that, remember that goals have to be achievable, mindful, and flexible.
ESTABLISHING HABITS
Habits are so important to rebrand yourself. Habits make up your identity. The way you act, speak, and do daily, can subconsciously influence you to be someone who isn’t in alignment with your higher self.
As much as it’s important to establish new habits that align with you, you have to root out the habits that are pushing you off track from achieving your goals.
The good thing is that you can do both at the same time. Replace those old habits, with brand new ones. For example, when you open your phone first thing in the morning instead of opening up TikTok, get YouTube opened and start a 5-minute meditation to start your day.
However, just because a habit is beneficial for you, it doesn’t mean it is in alignment for you. For many people, they prefer to read books as a productive alternative for leisure, however, you may not be able to read a book and focus. In that case, you may want to watch an educational video instead. You’re still getting the benefits, but just in a different way.
STEP FIVE: IMPLEMENTING YOUR BRAND DAILY
Think about all the little details of how this person would act, from morning until night. Embody their actions, words, aura, and vibes. This is when having a visual of your goals is good, so you can see what you need to do.
This includes no longer indulging in things your higher self wouldn’t do. Regardless of how much comfort, entertainment, or dopamine something gives you, you have to let it go if it is destroying your mind.
I way I recommend implementing your brand daily by creating a daily routine that focuses on a different goal each day of the week. E.g:
Monday - Practicing being mindful (meditation, journaling, connecting with your religion)
Tuesday - Fitness (pilates, weightlifting, hot girl walks)
Wednesday - Socialising (going out to meet new people/connecting with old friends)
Thursday - Productivity (Schoolwork, studying, business, workplace tasks)
Friday - Self-care (taking a slow day however you’d like)

✧・゜: self-discipline doesn't mean hating yourself into action :・゜✧:・゜✧



hey lovelies! ✧
i've been thinking about this a lot lately… how did we all collectively decide that being mean to ourselves was somehow the path to getting things done? like, who started this toxic rumor that self-discipline means internal screaming and punishment? because honestly? i spent years believing that the only way to accomplish anything was through this weird self-bullying technique and it was literally the least effective approach ever.
⋆.ೃ࿔:・ the wake-up call ・:࿔ೃ.⋆
last semester i hit a wall with my essay project. i had been doing that thing where you stare at your laptop, call yourself lazy in your head, promise to work for 8 straight hours to "make up for it," then get overwhelmed and watch netflix instead. but one night at like 2am (why do all realizations happen at 2am??) i wondered what would happen if i just… stopped being mean to myself about it?
what if self-discipline was actually about being the most understanding friend to yourself instead of the worst drill sergeant?
⋆.ೃ࿔:・ what actually works ・:࿔ೃ.⋆
start ridiculously small, i'm talking embarrassingly tiny steps. want to write that paper? commit to just opening the document and typing a single sentence. need to clean your space? just put away three things. the magic is that once you start, continuing feels so much easier.
create environments that make things easier, not harder. i rearranged my desk so everything i need is within reach and visible. stopped trying to work in my bed (even though it's so comfy) because my brain associates it with sleep and tiktok scrolling.
acknowledge the resistance instead of fighting it. when i feel that "i don't wanna" feeling, i literally say to myself "i hear you, and it makes sense you feel that way. what's one tiny piece we could do?" talking to myself like i'm my own bestie changed everything.
use curiosity instead of judgment. instead of "why am i so lazy?" (which never helps), try "i wonder what's making this hard for me right now?" sometimes the answer surprises you. maybe you're actually just hungry or need better lighting.
build in rest BEFORE you crash. i started scheduling actual breaks before i felt desperate for them, and somehow i get more done? it's like my brain knows it's not going to be held hostage forever.
⋆.ೃ࿔:・ the permission slip approach ・:࿔ೃ.⋆
my favorite technique lately has been what i call "permission slip productivity" where i literally write myself little notes giving permission to:
work imperfectly (first drafts can be messy!)
take breaks without guilt
change my approach if something isn't working
celebrate small progress instead of only the end result
acknowledge when something is genuinely difficult
there's something so powerful about physically writing yourself permission. it sounds silly but it works because it interrupts that mean inner voice that's been programmed into us.

the wildest part? i actually get MORE done now that i've stopped the self-hate productivity method. turns out your brain works better when it's not being constantly criticized? who knew!
my essay (very big essay) got finished early. my room stays cleaner. i actually enjoy my study sessions now instead of dreading them. and most importantly, i don't feel that heavy cloud of shame following me around everywhere.
self-discipline isn't forcing yourself through misery, it's creating systems that work WITH your natural tendencies, not against them. it's about making things easier, not harder. it's about treating yourself like someone you actually care about.
and maybe the real glow-up isn't just checking things off your to-do list, but doing it without sacrificing your relationship with yourself in the process.

2025 is my year of healing. I'm tired of repeating the same patterns of behaviour that don't provide anything fruitful in my life. I'm ready to embark on deep journey of stitching the emotional wounds that trauma has caused me. I'm choosing to surrender and to let go of the pain. I'm breaking generational cycles of despair and sorrow. Life is for me to enjoy, not something I have to endure.
Prioritizing healing starts with changing your habits, forming new and healthier patterns of thinking that can build new neurological connections and rewire your brain, which in turn leads you to see the world through a different lens and bring forth better things into your life. I know that I'm not alone in this journey and that God will be walking with me through every step. This journey will be a marathon and not a spring, but I will eventually reach the end of the finish line, and I will be a better person for it.

Writing Notes: Compassion Fatigue
Compassion Fatigue - the burnout and stress-related symptoms experienced by caregivers and other helping professionals in reaction to working with traumatized people over an extended period of time
Can show itself in a range of symptoms and behaviors, such as:
Diminished ability or interest to care for others
Preoccupation with people you help
Mental and/or physical exhaustion
Anger and irritability
Anxiety and/or depression
Intrusive thoughts
Sleep problems
Being easily startled
Hopelessness about helping work
Flashbacks
Hypervigilance
Avoidance of certain activities, situations, or people you help
Feeling like a failure as a helper
Drops in productivity
Emotional numbness
Trouble separating personal and professional life
A decreased capacity to experience sympathy and empathy
Dysfunctional coping behaviors, e.g., misusing alcohol or drugs
Taking more time off work
Reduced decision-making ability
Feeling disconnected
Decreased satisfaction or enjoyment with work (Cocker & Joss, 2016; Clay, 2020; Stamm, 2010)
Some important factors that contribute to compassion fatigue include (Figley, 2002a):
Prolonged exposure. The feeling of responsibility for helping those in pain for a significant period of time—breaks and vacations are important to avoid this.
Traumatic recollections. Emotional memories that the client triggers for the therapist—these may reflect the therapist’s experiences of other clients who were especially difficult, demanding, or suffering greatly.
Life disruption. Any life event that disrupts your routine, schedule, or ability to manage and cope with your daily responsibilities.
Compassion fatigue is a form of stress or tension that arises from frequent contact with traumatized people, where we become preoccupied with the suffering or pain of others (Hunsaker, Chen, Maughan, & Heaston, 2015).

Improving as a person and a woman is work from the inside out, an important part is being a better friend - so how can I be a better friend?



This is a basic guide on how to be a better friend. The most important part of being a better friend is to communicate properly. Not all friendships are the same and will ask for the same things. Talk to your friends and figure out how you can be a better friend for them. Although, don’t drastically change yourself.
BE CONSISTENT. Check up on your friends, ask them if they’re free, hype them up on their posts, and be consistent with it. You’re not friends with someone if you only talk to them twice a year, plus it makes people feel good when they think that you’ve been keeping them in their thoughts.
AVOID JUDGEMENT. A big factor in a friendship, but it tends to be neglected in the moment. It is completely okay to question someone’s actions and give feedback sometimes, however, you have to know when judgment is not wanted or needed. Typically, avoid judging someone at all, consider their perspective.
HONESTY. Be honest with your friends. If you do something that impacts them, tell them. If you happen to talk about them without their presence, tell them. Many people are much more forgiving if the person owns up to it. A friendship founded on lies, will not last.
USE YOUR SKILLS TO HELP. If you excel in a certain area, ensure that you help those who struggle in that area. An example, teaching your friend how to code, or giving them advice starting in the gym. Moments of when someone willingly and happily helps you, are not easily forgotten.
MEAN > GOOD. The heading is a bit odd, but to continue off my last point, it is much more easier to remember a small mean act, than a small good act. Likely, no one is going to remember if you held the door for them however, they will remember if you ever talked behind their back. So, think about your actions, and their effect on how people will perceive you.
PRAISE YOUR FRIENDS. Start finding the joy in your friend’s successes. That same good energy from those successes will find you. If you curse or envy them, you will be bound to failure as you cannot share that energy. The small things like a compliment or a cute note on their locker increase that energy.

This 🙏🏻🙏🏻 I do not necessarily agree in the advocating of keeping abuse a secret from a partner. But it's true that disclosure isn't always best. If you make someone aware that you've been treated bad in past relationships, and that you've accepted it and put up with it and stayed in the relationship, then you are setting the bar (and it is a low one) to your new partner of things that can be and have been done to you with no consequence. Your experience is your own power and you need to make sure that you are bringing to light the right things to the right people

Imagine an Agency that, while having noble intentions, is just as guilty of using their Agents as chess pieces as its enemies. Imagine an Agency that's staggeringly hesitant towards changes to the status quo, as deviation had been synonymous with death for nearly their entire lifetime. Imagine this stagnation driving away their brightest and bravest, turning them towards independent ventures... or much darker pursuits.
Imagine Reginald Crane. Imagine being on the front lines of the battle against seemingly insurmountable evil. Imagine time or tragedy wearing on you. Imagine being unable to engage directly like you've always loved, but being unwilling to abandon the fight. Imagine being given the opportunity to become a support agent. Imagine losing your Agent. Imagine losing your Agent. Imagine losing your Agent. Imagine with horror as you realize, with every dying gasp, every plea for help, every flatline, that you were one of the lucky ones. Imagine building up walls of snarky comments, of cold indifference, of "Don't get attached", so you never feel the pain of being The Lucky One. Imagine burying your hurt deep. Imagine putting up a facade so that your judgement isn't clouded. Imagine doing everything in your power to make sure the next one doesn't meet the same fate. Imagine losing the Agent. Imagine losing the Agent.
Imagine Dr. Roxana Prism. Imagine possessing a brilliance so great it practically possesses you. Imagine dreaming, studying and working your entire life to leave a legacy that will outlive you. Imagine finding The Agency, being thrilled, overjoyed, that you finally had the resources and support to pursue your research. Imagine discovering Kinesium, and it's immense, nigh-reality-bending powers. Imagine discovering your legacy. Imagine inventing a device that gave people mastery over gravity itself; inventing Telekinesis. Imagine your invention being used everywhere on the field, creating an entire Division of the Agency. Imagine being held in such high regard, you're made the Head of Research and Development. Imagine that not being enough. Imagine your Agents still dying, even with your "best work" behind them. Imagine an Artificial Agent - metal body, electric mind, perfect and whole and deathless. Imagine becoming attached to your new creation. Imagine becoming extremely attached to your new creation Imagine being so proud of what you've made; a device that could eliminate the danger of the world's most dangerous job. Imagine the humiliation when, somehow, it all goes wrong. Imagine being told your best isn't enough. Imagine being more betrayed than you ever had before. Imagine leaving the people you thought could help you behind, swearing you'd never make the same mistake again. Imagine making the biggest mistake of your life soon after.
Imagine all that? Good. Now imagine someone else. Imagine being assigned another Agent. Imagine putting your walls up. They likely won't last the day. Imagine them being chaotic Imagine them surviving. Imagine them surviving. Imagine them surviving. Imagine your walls being chipped away at, one mission at a time, as you find yourself forming something resembling a Bond (heh) despite yourself. Imagine being drawn closer with each quirk, each eccentricity, each brilliant solution that is anything but orthodox. Imagine sending them on the most dangerous mission you've ever sent any of your Agents on. Imagine them surviving. Imagine rumors spreading about them. Imagine people saying they're immortal, they're invincible....
Imagine your Agent gaining a Name. Imagine remembering when you got yours; strong as stone, they called you. Imagine them surviving. Imagine being more afraid than you ever had in recent memory. For the sake of the world, or the life of your Agent, you can't tell anymore. Imagine you're about to see them off again. Imagine committing your Agency's biggest taboo. Imagine calling them by their Name. Imagine watching as they heroically trade their life for the world's. Imagine, against everything, that Agent Phoenix somehow survives. Imagine mourning them so much, you nearly leave the Agency you've spent nearly your whole life serving. Imagine being so overjoyed at their remarkable return, you don't care about your old walls anymore. Imagine the rumors growing into legend. Imagine one of your own becoming a hero. Imagine your goofiest, most chaotic, most unorthodox Agent being the best thing for your recruitment efforts in recent memory. Imagine the Agency's best asset fall into your lap. Imagine seeing the perfect opportunity to prove them all wrong. Imagine seeing them disarm your every trap, dodge your every attack, outwit your every plan. Imagine them not giving up. Imagine your old friend trying to get through to you. Imagine as you keep improving your work. Imagine making your robots stronger and stronger. Imagine them not giving up Imagine them both following you to your factory. Imagine preparing to cement your legacy as a brilliant scientist - as the one who overcame even the Great Phoenix. Imagine being well and truly betrayed. Imagine losing what you've loved the most. Imagine telling them you never want to see them again. Imagine seeing them again anyway. Imagine them not giving up. Imagine dying. Imagine not. Imagine, despite all logic, despite all sense, Phoenix saves you. Imagine working together to save hundreds (thousands, now) of lives. Imagine remembering that this is what you started inventing for: to leave the world a better place than when you found it. Imagine dragging the person who saved you to safety. Imagine leaving with a renewed sense of purpose. Imagine not giving up.
Imagine Agent Phoenix. Imagine joining the Agency. Imagine being told, very early that you are "A spy. Not a hero." Imagine thinking that's stupid. Imagine doing things your own way. Imagine threatening the status quo. Imagine being told you won't last long. Imagine burning through every handler assigned to you, until you find one who can keep up with your bullshit. Imagine the politics of The Agency shift and churn behind the scenes while you're off saving the world. Imagine the "orthodox" being questioned. Tested. Imagine Agents, who were told that they were small parts of a much bigger collective force, who were told their job is risky and they will need to lay down their lives for the greater good, seeing you survive. Imagine becoming a symbol of hope and heroism entirely without your knowledge. Imagine more Agents coming home. Imagine your Handler getting slaps on the back and congratulations from other support Agents. Imagine your Creator becoming far more invested in your exploits. Imagine coming back to the office from Babadag, being looked at in awe by your fellow Agents, being greeted with awe and reverie, with being confused as to why. Imagine the halls becoming so much livelier. Imagine coming back to a different Agency than you left. Imagine, little by little, Agent by Agent, life by life, you've been changing things more than you'll ever know.
