Hello, I made this short animation for @rumpuslr’s Ident series. It took me about 2 years, on and off, sometimes off work and sometimes during work hours. Clean up is what took the longest - it very nearly broke my back. Think it was worth it though because I’m pretty proud of this (still got to look after ourselves and not sit down for too many hours straight, though)

There are some bits in it I am quite not happy yet, but they are mostly some clean up mistakes. Better to have something finished than perfect though; While being a student it’s easy to claim to be a perfectionist because by then we don’t have much experience yet and are not aware of how long/how much work the things we want to do actually take.

After those two Sage chapters (Which i love btw, I’m all for the angst) I just missed the wholesome soft moments between MC and Sage and all the playfulness.

The last Felix chapter couldn’t leave my brain and ended up sketching something to make up for the wholesome feelings. Would love to draw the actual bath scenes tho

WIP of Lady Ningguang, bc she’s my favorite and has been my main since I got her. Drawing all these clothes is a pain, I did all the details on the chest the wrong way and had to reverse it haha. I don’t even have an idea of how I’ll paint this

Sage’s new chapter is out but I won’t be able to read it until a few hours aaa. Meanwhile here’s a floating Sage head from a tavern scene I plan to finish someday, as I’ve been practicing more I probably will redo the hair entirely.

Lately all I wanna draw are taverns even tho I am deeply afraid of backgrounds. After playing a bit of genshin a friend said she would do anything to drink Mondstadt’s wine and throw all her money for Diluc, there’s also me who just wants to see the taverns and sip wine and a friend who chose Aether for the emo clothes. I just had to do a sketch so I could maybe??? draw this in the future. I just feel I have to learn sm to paint taverns as they are.
