hate to put this on my main blog but fuck it we ball tw under cut- vent also a huge wall of text ;-;

i hate how i'm treated like an idiot for not knowing history as well as my family. i'm not good at history, i can't tell you every small fact or every date down to the time like they can. i know the basics of history, i'm not good at it. what i am good at is math, i can do math easily, i love math, i'm good at numbers. i'm also good at the history of music but it's not something like wwi or the great deppression so it's useless to them. i'm good at character analysis. i'm good at analyzing media. i research indie animation and other forms of art. i'm good at cooking and baking. i know a lot about lost media. it sucks how i'm treated like the idiot of the house and constantly being told i'm a dumb blonde(i'm not even blonde) and "your grades show you're smart but i don't see it" just because i'm not a knowledge sponge when it comes to history. i can't tell you every date of every battle of wwii but i can explain how finding lost media is so important and saving it is too. the amount of times i've had to fight back crying because of how i've been treated like the dumbest person alive for not knowing small details about stuff might as well be in the triple digits by now its such a dumb thing to be upset about and i know no one is going to relate but its how things go sometimes

i think the reason why Jack Staubers voice in his short films gave me slight uncanny valley is because it sounds too normal, theres little change in his voice and his voice makes it sound like hes constantly being cut off. his voice sounds too normal to be normal if that makes sense

i've grown up around people who have these disorders and i have some myself and its disgusting how many people treat them like a fun little quirk and and treat them like they're not completely debilitating at times and spread misinformation as fact

welp, found a disorder that matches my symptoms, time to research the hell out of it until i know everything about it because i can't go to a specialist and ask questions about it or look into getting a diagnosis
