if the game allows fancy and complicate animation then i want to see him summoning his own incubator and turned monochrome, and that's the last thing his opponents see.
hey hey psst psst twst... having fun releasing past versions of different characters?
Silver refers to all the first-year and second-year students by their first names with no honorifics, no exceptions.
Silver refers to all the non-Diasomnia third-year students with the "senpai" honorifics, no exceptions.
Silver refers to Malleus as "Malleus-sama," with no exceptions.
He typically refers to Lilia as "Father-dono."
Yana has said that, originally, Silver referred to Lilia as "Father-sama," but the repetition of "Malleus-sama" from both Sebek and Silver together plus "Lilia-sama" from Sebek and "Father-sama" from Silver became too much, so "Father-sama" was changed to "Father-dono."
In Book 7 we heard what is maybe the one and only instance of Silver dropping from honorific from Lilia's name to call him a more casual title (similar to "dad" instead of "father"), while speaking with Malleus.
In the December 2023 issue of B's Log there is an interview with Silver's VA Shimazaki Nobunaga who explains this scene, saying that it was a moment of brotherhood between Malleus and Silver, two sons both raised by Lilia trying to come to terms with Lilia leaving:
"In the Main Story, Chapter 2 of Book 7, Silver breaks down and starts to cry, but that might never have happened if the person with him at the time hadn’t been Malleus, his older brother. Silver has spent so much time with Malleus and they have so many shared memories of his father, and he probably knew that Malleus shared in how lonely he felt in response to Lilia leaving the school. I think that’s why he wasn’t able to control his true feelings in that moment: because he was with Malleus."
hi there!! idk if you've answered this before, but did the 5 student overblots happen over the span of 5 months ? one happening each month ? idk if im misremembering but I was sure that in book 6 that was mentioned, yet I can't find the chapter it's in. im assuming since the twst school year starts in september, riddle was the first, with vil being the last OB before book 6 sometime in january, but im not 100% sure
Hello hello! Thank you for this question!
I am not sure if we can pinpoint that overblots have been happening at a pace of exactly once a month, but as you say in Book 6 we learn from Idia that there have been five overblots "in less than six months," which he says on the same day as he overblots himself!
The Main Story will occasionally drop hints about the timeline: we know that the start of the school year is in September, and Cater mentions mentoring new students in Book 1 (in reference to the prefect, Grim, Ace and Deuce), so it does seem like Book 1 takes place in September!
We also know that the Interdorm Spelldrive Tournament of Book 2 is in October and Book 3 begins with the final exams of the year (typically held at the end of November in real life, but not actually specified in game).
Book 4 begins on the last day of the fall semester and ends with Ace and Deuce wishing the prefect Happy New year, as they are reuniting for the first time post-winter vacation.
The VDC is held in mid-February, and the students are kidnapped by Charon "a few days later!"
An exact, official timeline may not have yet been released anywhere (that I have been able to find), but based on these clues we might be able to guess the following:
September: Riddle Overblot
October: Leona Overblot
November: Azul Overblot
December: Jamil Overblot
February: Vil and Idia Overblot
Malleus is a little more vague! There is a comment from Lilia about the transition into spring at the beginning of Book 7 and we know that the Interscholastic Spelldrive Tournament is in May!
If the tournament has not yet happened, the timing of Malleus' overblot is presumably sometime between February and May. If it is also still pre-spring-break, perhaps it was sometime in March? But this is all conjecture! :>
The way his feelings were depicted is so good because he clearly shows himself changing from aversion to you, to a curious fascination with your company, and to genuinely enjoying every moment with you.
