Natasha Romanoff headcannon!

When she first started out working under Tony, she was undercover. She's undoubtedly an excellent spy and very good at acting as a different person.

The ONLY thing she'd slip up on is her footsteps.

She would constantly startle Pepper, Happy, & Tony by accidentally sneaking up on them.

Every time it happened she'd make a mental note that she didnt have to sneak around everywhere in that building, but she'd find herself slipping.

Walking silently comes as naturally to her as breathing after being in the red room.

Also as a side thing: secretly the whole time she was pretending to be "Natalie Rushman," she was overthinking all of her actions and thought that the jig was up the moment she got Tony's attention.

She was honestly surprised that she went undercover working for the man who was supposed to be a genius for as long as she did.

I'd love to see any fics that have this headcannon!

How, even in a well-tailored suit, at the most lavish party, advertising himself as the pinnacle of success and wealth, his hands are calloused and covered in scars.
