the addams family is so good. it’s one of those movies i haven’t seen in such a long time but it’s just all about the importance of substance in someone and i really really like that. the addams family is a movie that would invite me round for tea if i was in a bad place

that one post about the mystery gang missing a sixth member always fucked with me because scrappy is not the sixth member. it just doesn’t sit right. but then i realised - the sixth member is the mystery machine. every movie where the gang doesn’t have the mystery machine is just off putting because the dynamic is completely different without it. it would be like removing daphne or velma or fred, the balance is thrown off

watching scooby doo on zombie island and grinding at the minecraft gold farm is absolutely the best way i could spend my monday afternoon

so i watched it's a wonderful life recently and i really doubt i could bring anything else to the table which hasn't been said already but i really liked the criticisms of Mr Potter oppressing the working class and George's own struggles with the same thing. it's genuinely a really good film with it's OWN set of problems but from a political perspective it definitely deviated from the social issues you usually see in classical hollywood style

i really should be doing my maths work right now but instead i decided to start a tumblr,,, when am i EVER gonna need to know about connected particles anyway? they’re cool but i mean,, online school can be tricky. anyway im here to talk about film because yeah maths is cool but kinda boring.
