*Tentatively throws this out into the world* S-Some of my friend and I’s ideas for the Order of the Clock Tower👉👈 not very often do I make OCs for shows but there was too much potential. Maybe I’ll make fully fleshed out sheets for them; but for now— Arthur Conan Doyle, Ability: The Final Problem, works in just about the same was as Ranpo’s ‘Ultra Deduction’, just as an actual ability here. Also George Orwell (top left corner), Ability: 1984, basically works as a human security camera.

I think one of the things that I adore about Attack On Titan is the attention to even the smallest details. What people say/how they say it (‘See you later, Eren’), certain mannerisms (both Annie and Reiner), or even panel placement in the manga (Showing Reiner/Bertholdt when referencing Shiganshina or the armored or colossal titans).

It was really Annie is who got me thinking about this:

Here, where she first spars with Eren, taking her regular stance and then when she moves, she covers the nape of her neck. As if fighting as a Titan is so second nature to her that she doesn’t even think about it. The inclusion of these details, especially at a point where the Female Titan hasn’t been introduced yet, is so profound to me. Nothing in the story goes unnoticed.
