Brad Lander ( another mayoral candidate, who is Jewish ) supported Mamdani’s campaign and even celebrated Zohran’s victory with him. Meanwhile, Zohran and his family were receiving daily threats, and Cuomo’s campaign spent all its energy smearing him with Islamophobic and racist narratives. Zionists, both online and offline, didn’t make things any easier either.

And if you’re concerned about the profiling of Jews, maybe direct that concern toward Netanyahu, his government and the IOF — the same people who regularly post videos of themselves harming civilians. Not to mention the overwhelming pro-Israel stance of mainstream media that’s becoming suffocating.

Klamille was never a replacement for Klaroline.

Cami was her own character, with a completely different personality. Elijah himself said that Cami was Klaus’s refuge. When Klaus was trapped and suffering in the dungeon, he didn’t think of Caroline — he hallucinated Cami for years.

Even in season 5, when the Klaroline scenes were nothing but fanservice (just like that phone call), Klaus still mentioned Cami to Caroline’s face. He was completely head over heels for Cami. Even Kol pointed it out — he used it as an excuse to convince Klaus to bring back Davina. Klaus told Hayley that he and Cami were literal soulmates. He said it himself: he loved her.

And yet some of you have the audacity to claim that Cami was just a replacement, or that Klamille wasn’t better than a ship that came out of nowhere?

Klar*line was the one who never made fcking sense.

Because why would an ancient hybrid fall for a teenage blonde whose friend group he terrorized, whose ex-boyfriend’s mom he murdered, and who he literally ordered Tyler to bite? (Meanwhile, just the thought of Cami being hurt made Klaus willingly sacrifice himself to the father he feared most.) And let’s not forget ; he was going to use Caroline in the sacrifice too. I could go on and on about how wrong that ship was and how little sense it actually made.

Sure, maybe he was attracted to her — but that’s all it ever was. Nothing as deep or powerful as what he felt for Cami, that’s for sure.

And the argument that Cami was just a replacement because she was blonde? Please. By that logic, was Hayley a replacement for Tatia, Katherine, or Celeste when it came to Elijah? Was Caroline a replacement for Aurora? Be serious.
