Been practicing the Thai script all day today by writing all the actor's names. I know I forgot a lot so tell me who to add lol. Also those photos are very dark because it's literally 11:30pm here

Currently watching Buy Now: The Shopping Conspiracy on Netflix, and as much as I knew of most of this, it's still so appalling to see the reality of everything. This consumerism is insanity, and it doesn't ever end. There is an H&M segment in there, and as someone who works there, I can 100% agree with the fact that so so so so so many clothes are brought every day for recycling; it's actually insane. According to H&M, they do get recycled and reused for clothes making,g but in all honesty, I can't prove it because I don't know. All I get is your bag, I give you a 5 bucks voucher, I put it in the box and once we have a few bags it gets sealed in one of the bags we get for the recycling and then it's given away with the delivery driver and what happens then can't say. It's just insane to see how much waste we produce every single day, and it's even worse to get it visually shown in this documentary. What I like about this documentary is that we get interviews with people who actually worked in those companies and give you behind the scenes information. We all know the tea but to have it actually confirmed is a different thing.

I am trying desperately to get back into art again but it's such a struggle and has been for a few years now. If I go on my Instagram I can scroll back and see that in the last 3 years I didn't do more than 3 art pieces in a whole year whereas in 2021 I did 30. Ever since I was in Ireland, and don't get me wrong, I loved it there, and it didn't work out and I had to come back to Switzerland again I've been in such a funk mentally that I haven't been motivated for anything. Every job I had ever since took the life out of me and just the general vibe of this country is sucking my motivation out of me on a daily basis. I told myself that now in 2025 I wanna get back into things and I wanna learn new things and improve and get motivated again but it's March now and it's still a struggle. I had a few days where I was motivated and actually did something but every free day I have now I spend just sitting around learning the Thai script. Not that that's a bad thing because I wanna learn that too but it's just so sad to see that my art drive I used to have in the 10 years before my art slump is just gone and away and how much I struggle to get back into it even a little bit. The 2 and a half weeks I spent in Thailand were the only time I felt so energised and motivated that if I wasn't there on holiday and if I would have brought my stuff with me, I am sure I would have done stuff and would have been so productive. That's why I have decided that I need a break from all of this life I currently lead and that's why next year I wanna go back to Thailand for one and a half months and just be. Not go there for holidays but just to relax and get my brain back together and do some stuff. Sure I still wanna explore Thailand but I also wanna spend days just sitting by the beach and draw or do other productive things. I just wanna see if that would help. I just need a time-out. I need to get away from my daily life and just get my head back into gear and become focused again.

Since I'm learning the Thai alphabet I have now taken apart my nickname and it's funny how each "letter's" meaning is accurate to my life. Thought that was kinda cool.
Like my nickname "Dani" is written ดานี in Thai
ด = D = child า = aa = pen น = n = mouse or rat อี = ii = television
So I'm a child still on the inside and I also don't know how to adult, I'm an artist, my chinese zodiac sign is a rat and I watch a lot of TV shows lol

I have a meet and greet with a German band on Saturday plus VIP tickets and I just got information via email about being able to take pictures with them and ask questions and I'm here like... "I don't even know if I'm able to even say hi" lmao. 😆 Problems of an introverted, socially awkward human being

Dude at the bar gave us two whiskey shots for my birthday tomorrow. He even remembered that I told him that yesterday. Imagine someone working at a cocktail bar and you remember one thing a customer said. I feel honoured and I feel that whiskey to the bones. I'm not used to it. I've not eaten enough for that mix in my body. Idk how ppl do that. I've never had so many Tequila Sunrise in two weeks as I had on this trip. Who am I. Also we told him that it's our last day today and he asked us to visit again and we asked how long he works and he said 10pm so we said he should come to Bangla Road with us and he said yes. So now we go on our day trip and then dinner and after that I will get him when he's done with work to go to our favourite live music club at Bangla Road. Let's see if it actually happens.

The Thai music scene is insane I love it! My introverted a$$ went to Bangla Road with my sister and we went to a club with live music and it was so awesome that after 6 hours, 2 Tequila Sunrise and a Coke Light I don't hear anymore and I'm now back in the hotel at 2am. The two bands were amazing and the vibe was insane. Felt like front row seats at a concert. I have so many videos. Even one of the guys was cute and I handed him 50 Baht and he hugged us in the end lol. Was worth the ear temporary hearing loss haha ✌🏻
