i wanted to reply to this due to having a different perspective on it/its pronouns and why it's completely fine to use them and it should be used on those who prefer that pronoun specifically

it/its was used and continues to be used to dehumanize my identity. it was used to refer to me because the group of people in question wouldn't want to respect my gender identity, regardless if i protested or not. this does not mean every other person's experience is like mine. if others want to use it/its, such as for reclaiming it from others using it to dehumanize you or simply because you prefer the pronouns, that's completely fine!

everyone has different experiences and connections to their identity others might not have. i don't like it/its because it was used to bully and torment me due to my gender identity, but others use it/its because they enjoy the pronoun used on them and just because YOU see it as dehumanizing, doesn't mean others see it as such. there's no wrong way to identify with something

the fact that people purposely misgender others who use it/its is appalling. this is wrong on so many levels and it's what others who are against us want us to do. they want us to turn on our community because some identity differently than others in the queer community. we shouldn't infight over pronouns, but respect them and use them how others want them to be used. we have bigger issues and we're worried about someone who uses it/its? like y'all 😭😭 like it/its is fine let people use what they want to use

in light of recent comments i had with someone. let's make another post respecting it/its users but from a disabled, intersex + trans person of colours perspective. it's okay if you're a poc who personally doesn't want it/its used on you, it's okay if you're a poc who has trauma with being dehumanized. but you need to understand that every individual is different.

multiple poc including myself reclaim them or simply feel they fit. i've felt he/she/they didn't fully fit me for a long time. that they don't properly express who i am. it/its gives me euphoria alongside other neopronouns i use. im not erasing my history, im not erasing our fights for equality. a racist person will dehumanize me regardless on if i'm an it/its queer nonhuman or a he/him doing everything in the box non queer. racist people are the issue, not someone feeling it/its fit.

refusing to use my pronouns is in fact misgendering me, it's in fact transphobic even if you are also a trans person. if you're uncomfortable using my pronouns, well, no one is forcing you specifically to talk to me. you can block me and move on, in fact i'd prefer that over you forcing they/them onto me or repeatedly saying "ill never use your pronouns!" im tired of people refusing to respect my identity just because they're uncomfortable, just because they don't understand. they/them makes me extremely dysphoric, the pronouns used on me make me feel forced into a box im not apart of, why should i be forced to use different pronouns on myself that don't match my identity?

it's not gender affirming care, it's a breast reduction (but im going from like a big ass size to a A cup, so a radical reduction) insurance denied us twice and deemed it as not medically necessary, but the surgeon (+ the nurse) said he wouldn't perform surgeries unless he deemed them medically necessary and we've been fighting since february

im literally so exhausted lol. i wish i had money to pay for it (it's like 6k) but im struggling to find a job and have to pay money elsewhere for my pharmacy tech program. im literally just ughhhhhhh 💔💔💔

Reminder that you don't have to call yourself AMAB or AFAB. You don't have to say "I'm AFAB nonbinary." Saying "I'm nonbinary" is enough. You don't need to identify with what you were assigned as by some doctor however many years ago. Mentioning your ASAB is scarcely relevant to most conversations, even those about medical transitioning.

Nonbinary is enough, you don't have to supplement it with a binary system of any kind. It doesn't matter how many people want to know your "transition direction." It doesn't matter how many people want to know what your genitals are (which wouldn't be alluded to by your assigned sex anyway). It doesn't matter how many people want to binarise you. It doesn't matter how many binary people you confuse. No one needs to binarise you. Nonbinary. Is. Enough.

i reclaim the h slur for myself as an empowerment and to uplift myself, because slurs have been used against me to dehumanize me in the past. i don't want people to have a weapon or a way to dehumanize and degrade my identity, so i use slurs because if they call me them, they're technically correct. like you can't use it to harm me because i use it as an identifier (does that make sense?)

i understand why others wouldn't want the slur to be reclaimed - it has origins that wouldn't be on the basis to be reclaimed, but if other intersex people want to reclaim it for themselves, they should be allowed to without being shamed for it. there are reasons outside of mine for people to reclaim the h slur and there are reasons others wouldn't reclaim it. i feel like we should leave it up to people's preference and as long as they're intersex, they are valid to reclaim the slur for whatever reason

Please do your own research actually because literally no resources I've seen even mention terfs. Terfs don't own the labels, they've existed long before the internet. One of my tribal elders in her 60s is a lesboy, is she supposed to just not be one because some terfs use it as a derogatory word according to you. Are the older people in my town who are both a woman and man supposed to what? Stop being a lesbian for your convenience? Also I'm a transfemmasc mspec gay boydyke. i have been on testosterone for almost a year (07/01/25 is a year), and i've grown and evolved as a person since then. im hairy, fat, beautiful, and feel more manly than ever. i genuinely enjoy the changes i've seen and im so happy i started this journey over a year ago. despite the administration trying to take away my live saving healthcare (+ actively trying to make medicaid not cover it anymore), i don't let it bother me or worry me anymore. it's a scary time, but cowering in the corner doesn't do shit.

if you are thinking about starting hrt, DO IT. if you want to start this journey, DO IT. do not let this administration nor the current political climate stop you. only you can be authentically you and we only live once. do not waste life cowering in fear over the white man. start your journeys, live your life, be authentically yourself.

one of my posts (which is a free block list. go crazy man) absolutely exploded and i tagged things related to trump. it hit the wrong side of tumblr and now every time i post something, trumpies attack me, my character, or the posts itself. im not phased by it, though. it's nazis being transphobic and their closed minded self. not understand intersex people exist, being transgender is not a mental illness, etc.

do not let these people phase you or respond to them. block, report, and move on. they WANT a reaction out of you and want you to respond, so they can fill trans spaces with bogus, unscientific, unjustified, and immoral takes that aren't back by any science professional nor anyone who's in the field of transgender studies. one google search will SHOW you hrt saves lives and has significantly improved the lives of transgender people. we don't mutilate ourselves, we transition to be happy and healthy in our own body. they believe in harmful, hateful, and shitty ideologies and there's no changing it. we need to ignore them and focus on fighting for our rights, our livelihoods, and living as trans people. we have our spaces for a reason and these trumpies and nazis won't tear down those spaces. fuck them, fuck trump, and fuck nazis.

i took a break from this account for a few days. i needed to get away from politics and political discussion in general. i will share one major update i have regarding gender affirming care, however:

CHKD, my provider of hrt, stopped gender affirming care due to the executive order. i was devastated. i still am, but i am slowly accepting what happened. i have an appointment with my endocrinologist on friday via telehealth and we will go from there. i won't get much into it, but i wanted to let everyone else know on here, if not known by now. i hope everyone who is affected by this, like myself, find alternative methods to get affirming care or this executive order gets suspended, as it's illegal and is actively affecting access to care.
