the batfam clocked that something might up regarding Jason’s death because when Damian came to Gotham he spoke like a victorian school boy 98% of the time UNLESS he was in a passionate debate/argument with somebody, at which point he would for some baffling reason unknowingly slip into a thick Crime Alley accent complete with slang terms and insults/sayings that the family have only ever heard spewed from Jason’s mouth. it blindsides them every fucking time and Damian doesn’t even realise he does it, just subconsciously picking up traits from his big brother back at nanda parbat without noticing.

I feel like some people have this attitude, in the DC fandom- especially pertaining to Devin Grayson- where like. They treat the mere act of writing a character being sexually assaulted as something problematic in of itself. I’ve seen criticism of Grayson that’s just ‘she wrote Nightwing being raped’, and they don’t even mention problems they had with how she wrote it. Just that she did, as if that’s inherently bad. As if it makes a character worse, dirty, to be a victim of sexual violence. You’re allowed to hate Grayson’s run on Nightwing, you’re allowed to think she handled sexual assault poorly. But every time I see the fact that she handled it in the first place treated as some offense, it leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

Dude, they're the only ones who actually read his comics, especially his Robin runs. The amount of times I saw Jason's hater making a statement about him that isn't true to most if not any canon is riddiculus And I saw the even higher amount of people arguing and disagreeing with Jason's fans over facts based on actual panels from comics

If you hate Jason for being and angry Robin who disobeyed Bruce and got himself killed you already lost an argument

If you hate Jason for being a stupid brute who stands out only because he kills people and uses guns you already lost an argument

If you hate Jason for "stealing" from other characters and not having story elements unique to his own character you already lost an argument

Jason Todd fanbase is as intense as it is because OTHER COMIC BOOK READERS AND BATFAMILY STANS DON'T READ HIS COMICS

It's really frustrating to have other fans claiming you don't know your favourite (or one of your favourites) characters when you know for a fact that you had read so much more about him. And that you have to witness his character being butchered by both the new comic writers and people in fandom over and over again
