Untitled 2 (Black Widow redo) - Maria tracks down an MIA Natasha after the events of Civil War and teams up with Yelena and Natasha as they take on Taskmaster and Dreykov to free all the widows.

Untitled 3 (Pre-Avengers I/Pre Iron-Man 2005 approximately) - Fury and Coulson unravel the past and the events of a failed joint military and SHIELD mission the led to the arrest of two secret hydra operatives posing as SHIELD agents and a young female marine Maria Hill.

I have 3 stories to finish before these get out there, but I am stoked! Do any of these interest you? I have started chapters for all of them.

Hey my dyslexic friends/fic readers/writers!

As a dyslexic author and AO3 reader I often struggle with typos that i cannot fix myself without having auditory support. I rely on auditory support in my professional life and on the web to ensure that I am reading words correctly. I have always used the free robotic voices provided to help but recently I have learned that the Microsoft Edge browser which works on mac laptops(!!) has incorporated excellent natural reader voices and you can use an immersive reader within the browser to help read fics. I HIGHLY recommend it as it is improving my AO3 experience. I hope google will do this as well for chrome because the Edge voices make it so much better.

I think this would really help ADD or ADHD readers and writers as well, especially for those who tune out the robot voice. It is helping me in writing identify typos that I cannot otherwise notice myself without auditory support. Just wanted to share because I hate the robotic read along although the one weird thing about the natural voices is they guess at the inflection and it is sometimes really off but that's ok!

AO3 formatting / style question

I write my fics with a lot (and I mean a lot) of dialogue. When you read fics that are dialogue heavy do you prefer reading them in a screenplay style format or a more traditional storybook style of writing?

Has anyone tried writing in the screenplay style? Should the preference be based on the writer or the reader?

What headcanons do you have for Maria, Natasha and them together (blackhill)?

Hello! I have a lot LOL.

The way I write them together at least in the Maria Hill: Stark Era series I am working on is that Maria and Natasha started having an on and off again relationship after the fall of SHIELD that they kept private but because they both have horribly repressed trauma and commitment issues it keeps their relationship from progressing.

Maria is exceptionally neat and organized and Natasha's more of a 'clean once every one to two weeks if at all' vibe. Maria cannot cook anything, Natasha can but generally chooses not to. Natasha always has the coolest jackets and she will never tell Maria where she gets them just to be a pain (a running gag through a lot of my fics tbh) Natasha sometimes goes AWOL without saying anything and Maria gets very annoyed. Natasha also has a tendency to 'leave texts on Read.' but to compromise she turned her read receipts on which drives Maria actually crazier than not knowing if she saw a message. But Maria can go full silent treatment if she's upset or mad. They both LOVE to dunk on Tony and they will both try to get out of a looming argument together by turning into a joke and putting it out of their mind so the tension builds like crazy.

Iconic that i got this question today because I just started a brand new fic where Maria meets Yelena in the Civil War/Black Widow movie era!!!!

Pepper and Maria expand their friendship while they silently deal with PTSD from the experience in What Comes to Light. Maria struggles with her identity and sexual orientation as she tests the waters with relationships outside of her on and off again with Natasha all while the Avengers and Maria are baited into a trap. (This one has some 2013 Fanfic vibes lmao sorry)

don't forget that cobie was the ONLY cast member of the entire series to attend san diego comic con to promote the series at it's first look and they said she "played a major role" to the entire audience causing a media spike in stories about her character purposefully to add to the shock value. the saddest thing ever is to go back and watch cobie answer interview questions about her role at comic con and everyone congratulating her on 'finally' getting a major role in the franchise and she has to smile and say thanks.

the fact that marvel PROMOTED maria hill as one of the proganists of secret invasion, made a individual poster of he character, released the first images of the show with her in it, even dropped a marvel's legends episode just for her for in the end FUCKING KILL her character in the first episode of secret invasion and credit the actress in the end as a "special guest" is so fucking foul of them... this is my villain origin story
