⟢ 30/06/2025: ❤️ — My Thoughts on Love

a rant brought you by cainyne (@cainynism).

this is a personal perspective of love . it may be different than what you are used to . unlike the world’s definition , my defining of love is about the complex dynamic two people can have . it is not the typical friendship , dating , and marriage type of love — i do not work like that . to my mind , love is :

a bond between two spirits that only they define and label as to what they desire from the other . rather than what society expects , we take on this physiology into consideration and account its meaning as what it feels right to us . it’s more than just a mix of emotions and behaviors ; it’s the ability to create a connection with someone that you know you can relate to , trust , and confine yourself for a lifetime . we view the relationships like friendship as a liking to one another , but who said we cannot have intimacy , passion , and commitment ? who is to judge how much we care , how much we connect — be it through protection and affection ; attraction and trust ? countless forms of art will express this love to a wife , a fiancée , a girlfriend , and even a friend , yet when i look at you ? i value what we have . i desire to be within your bird’s eye view , to share my thoughts vulnerable and not . what i like is pleasant ; it is light like the cream on strawberries , but not as sweet as the devotion in which i spill out into the pages and conversations . is it infatuated by the mass of empathy and melancholy in which i feel ? unrequited by oneself ? or am i just too compassionate for a world that curses my name like a adjective for degeneracy ?
