((Made as an “artivist” (using art in activism) project, in response to the way people have treated each other on social media, especially on youtube and tumblr. ex: some youtubers have abused their power over young fans/ doxing on tumblr has happened unnecessarily in the past. My message is NOT “don’t trust social media”/ “social media spreads lies” or anything like that, but we should remind ourselves that every person on social media may have a much more complex background/story that we can’t see, and we should try not to assume that people are wonderful based on the way they present themselves. We should also try not to assume that a person is horrible based on one piece of evidence we’ve read/heard/seen.))
