Characters and Headcanons (At least, just the characters in this art piece): Jasmine: Demisexual and GNC. Lief: Asexual, biromantic, and NB. Doom: Demibiromantic Barda: Pansexual. Sharn & Endon: Both Demiromantic and asexual. Shadow Lord: Diversity win! The main villain is a demiboy!

So... I completely forgot what month it was, and spent the last two days rushing to finish this. Is it perfect? No. Did I finish this, unlike last year's work which is still only half done because I want it to be perfect? Yes, and that's enough for me.

Summary: “Eito Aotsuki is the traitor. He has always been the traitor and always will be the traitor, in every parallel universe. That doesn't mean his betrayal comes with a complete change in his persona.”

(Or: The author re-wrote the scene on day 95, because they thought it would be interesting if Eito betrayed the group because of the personality traits he had already shown throughout the the first route, instead of just throwing in new ones and having it be All An Act. For anyone who wanted The Reveal to go slightly differently, this fic is for you.)

Reasons Below The Cut For Each (Plus Pictures):

Brushtail: Has the longest lifespan of the Australian possums, and therefore is the most likely to live to the end of the series and still be seen as ‘young’ when said end is reached.

Pygmy: When asking others, this one tied with Ringtail for the one that looked most “like a rat”. It’s also the smallest Australian possum.

Ringtail: When asking others, this one tied with Pygmy for the one that looked most “like a rat”. It can also live long (relative to most possums) in captivity.

What are your thoughts on the expanded routes, new routes, as well as new ending in the pristine cut?

I love the expansion! It was Sorely Needed, and the extra content on the Spectre, Apotheosis, and Prisoner are my favourites!

Spectre because we get Princess PoV! And to see how Horrifying LQ looks! Also Oppotunist is a barstard and I both love him and find how quickly he falls for the princess hilarious. Honestly her being so fine with us backstabbing (Front-stabbing?) her makes me only more worried for her. Let The Princess Have Therapy 2024.

Apotheosis because Broken and Paranoid get a moment to shine and it's everything I've ever wanted. Let them get angry and go a bit off the rails. As A Treat.

Prisoner because I love drowned but it works less with the whole. Her cutting her own head off. (I had more of a rant, but that went way too far into headcanon territory, so...)

My thoughts on the new ending are... It's an ending, I guess? Maybe that will change it time. It's fine as it is, but I'm not throwing I party over it. I also find it Odd that if you stop it near the end, SM goes right back to saying "I was right, this doesn't prove otherwise, yada yada." Please give us an ending where we can just go seperate ways as symbolism of everything and nothing being fundamentally split from each other because LQ and SM's relationship makes me uncomfortable sometimes. This is me writing my wants and not me making a demand from the writers DO NOT TAKE THIS SERIOUSLY

Me, when writing characters with an attempt at making it scheduled: *Throws them into a grinder several times. Has then continuously go through scenarios like exhausted actors with a fussy director* Hm. Nothing here is working.

Me, when planning characters or OCs in my own time: *Puts them in the mental equivalent of a Café* ^_^ They Vibing. ^_^

There's a difference between "I don't interpret this story as romantic" and "I'm weird about women". You've admitted yourself you don't care about the Princess and obsess over the voices, and I've never seen you acknowledge the fact that the protagonist hurts the princess as well.

First of all: Those are bold words to say to someone who’s first and favourite ending was and is the Leave Together Stranger one! (I jest, I jest, but seriously-)

I don't understand how you came to that conclusion? Where did I say that the protagonist doesn’t hurt the princesses?? Or that I don’t care about the Princesses? I’m genuinely confused. In my posts, I’ve never mentioned the princess hurting the protagonist (besides my one moment of clarity post). The only place I bring up the princess hurting the protagonist is in my fanfic. For clarification: My fic also has the protagonist hurt the princess, which creates a downwards spiral that leads to the Unending Dawn ending.

Third of all: I said I prefer the most of the voices over most of the princesses. There’s a big leap to go from “This person likes the voices better because they appear more often so its easier to get attached to them” to “This person is weird about women.”

Doing some minor logistical rewrites in order to work in a proper boss fight vs Ol Dain that doesn't stray too far from the book events. Also wanted Doom to have some proper dialogue with Dain during that scene and I'm just imagining him during the fight trying to remain stoic and unaffected but in reality he looks like this the whole time
