I love the sarcastic, tongue-in-cheek humor that we’re able to portray in that relationship, and haven’t been able to in the past because of the heavy, dramatic situations that Clark often found himself in with the other characters.”

“With Lois there’s that sense of ‘back and forth’. Is the relationship there, is it not there? Certainly, we all know where they’re going to end up later on. I think it’s a great addition to the show and enables us to explore character facets we couldn’t before.”

Do you know if there are any clois fics with the hanahaki disease trope? I've done my own search so far on ao3 ffn and browsed through some on divine intervention but nothing's come up. Thanks in advance!

Hey! Sorry it took me a few days to respond, I wanted to look as well as I could. I've looked on ao3, ff, DI, RH, LJ and even here on tumblr and didn't find a single one! I even tried using words like "petals, flowers, ill, lovesick" and didn't find anything in the trope, unfortunately. Let's hope someone get's inspired and writes a Clois story with the trope in the future.
