First up in my Bella Talks Writing series is Wrapped Around Her Finger.

“Hello there, Hyacinth. I’m your big brother Anthony. I… I’m so sorry. You really got the short end of the stick, here. Our father was amazing. And I’m so sorry that you are never going to get to meet him. But, I’m here. And I’m going to do my best to make it up to you. You’re going to have to bear with me, though. Because I’m still young, myself. And this was not a role I expected to have. But, I learned from the best, so hopefully I won’t be too terrible at this.”

From the moment Hyacinth Bridgerton was born, she had Anthony wrapped rather firmly around her little finger. A series of vignettes about Anthony's relationship with Hyacinth, from her birth to her wedding. Set in the same story universe as The Doctor Who Loved Me

As the AO3 summary mentions, this is a companion piece to The Doctor Who Loved me, which is my first modern AU. Right now, there's only the one chapter, about Hyacinth's birth. But, I do still have plans for it. It's going to eventually go all the way through to Hyacinth's wedding. I've always been fascinated by Anthony's relationships with Hyacinth and Gregory in particular. Because while the lines between brother and father get blurred a lot with all of them, with those two they are almost non-existent. After all, he's the only father they've ever really known.

Anyway... Like I said, I have plans for this. The next chapter will be Anthony coming home from school for a break and being just about attacked by both Hyacinth and Gregory. I'll be showing Anthony doing all the things he lamented Edmund not being there to do. And we'll also see Hyacinth's first date, her first broken heart, going off to university. And of course, her relationship with Gareth, through Anthony's eyes. Right now, the plan is for it to end with her wedding. Though, I MIGHT continue it and end it with Isabella's birth, have it come full circle.

Everyone is confused to say the least seeing two boys basically draped over Black-fire.

So yeah the unholy trinity fucks shit up and takes Cujo to Starbucks to get a pup cup with Danny and Tucker officially threats to the Titans. Yay!

My favorite thing is that the entire Flash family is cool with Wally freezing Thad in place.

Wally was all "I'm going to do the worst thing I can think of." Literally. Literally that was his thought process.

He's well aware that freezing someone in time so that they are mentally aware but unable to move, and then placing them on display at a museum is a bad thing to do. He just doesn't care.

And then Iris wants to know what happened to Thad. And Wally just tells her. He outlines, in great detail, exactly how he broke the Geneva Convention.

And Iris' response?!?

"Good. When are you doing it to the rest of the Rogues?"

And then Jay found out later and he just... nodded at Wally in solidarity and moved on.

I just... this family is so fucking ride or die when it comes to each other. Thad killed Bart. He killed Bart. So they were all completely fine with this.

I love them all so much.

As they approached the graves, Lily Luna noticed her dad's demeanor shift with each step. Sitting down by the graves, Harry seemed lost in his thoughts. Lily sensed his sadness and, without a word, let go of her mom's hand. She wrapped her arms around her dad's neck, whispering softly, "Nan said she misses you and loves you loads. She doesn’t like it when you’re sad, daddy. Grandad is smiling at you and said he’s really proud of you,” as she hugged him tight. "Oh, and he told me to say he'd be even prouder if you saved the BIGGEST piece of cake for his favorite Lily-Lu!" Lily-Luna grinned, spreading her arms as wide as she could, emphasizing just how big that piece should be.

yes joel is the muscle, but there are more ways of being badass than showing physical strength. i mean we see her take a beating like it's nothing (boring even, she is literally waiting for them to get it over with), we see her be a boss in every situation, the one calling the shots, the leader, the big spoon, he listens to her

and then we see her be fragile and vulnerable in her last dying moments, and that makes you think that she's what, a pushover?
