my ana rules ♡
1 - Stay AWAY from deep fried foods. All that extra grease and oil is what makes you fat.
2- Do NOT eat over 60 carbs at once.
3- No bananas. period.
4- Stay away from the dessert section when grocery shopping and don't ask anyone to buy you any sweets.
5- No food between 6:30 PM and 6:00 AM.
6- Never go over 1,000 calories
7- You can have 1 dessert every Thursday between 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM
8- Nothing sweet for breakfast, you can have oatmeal, toast, ONE egg or coffee. The only sweet things allowed are fruits or greek yogurt.
9- Don't drink anything over 50 calories.
8- Take at least 6,000 steps per day.
9- Chew gum after you finish your food to keep you from eating more.
10- Only take one portion at a time. No sitting down on the couch with 2 bags of chips, ect.
11- Drink at least 40 Oz of water a day.
12- NEVER purge.
13- No red meat.
14- Drink a glass of water before each meal and take sips in between bites.
15- Chew each bite at least 24 times.
16- Use small plates and bowls to portion out your food.
17- Never portion out more than 1 cup of something. The more you eat of something, the more your gonna crave it.
18- Always skip lunch, if you wanna eat something then take small bites off of other people or eat something under 100 calories.
19- Exercise at least once a day.
20- Take a meta day every Tuesday to avoid tanking your metabolism.

I finished my 48 hr fast, and didn’t eat until 9 PM and even though I still managed to eat over 1,000 calories today, it does give me more hope for the future because the food I had after my fast finished wasn’t as satisfying as I’d hoped, and also what was good was the fact that I was really unwilling to eat it: it’s becoming harder to convince myself to eat :)

000 - nothing!!!!!!!
-194 calories burned by walking.
I’m super proud of myself today. Smoking, drinking water, and sleeping were so helpful for staving off food cravings. I made myself stay up until 6 AM with a celsius energy and then slept until 1 PM, which helped me to not eat during the day, though I probably won’t do this too often bc it screws up my sleep schedule. I’ll keep it in my back pocket, though, bc of course it’s harder to get food in the middle of the night. Also, new trick I found!!! Using those “quit smoking” automated text messages where you text the number and they give you some motivational message to “encourage quitting” were INSANELY helpful today (examples of the messages below from the EX program). Looking forward to tomorrow!!

binge edition 😔
I managed to make it to 44 hours straight of fasting, but then I was downtown looking for jobs and this one place I applied to asked me if I was dining and I felt awkward about saying no 😔😔 damn you social anxiety
1120 - waffle with bacon, avocado, and eggs
0110 - cappuccino with toasted marshmallow syrup

later, I binged on snacks, including candy

I feel so ashamed, and while some of these foods were good, like the waffle, I’m just left feeling underwhelmed and sick and fatigued, which ofc makes it harder to stay regimented. I need to get back on track. Good news, I realize I don’t like the taste or feeling of food, which should help with reducing food cravings. Bad news, I have to donate blood on Friday so I will have to eat a little more heartily for the next few hours. I dread the thought of all those calories. Feeling a bit glum right now but I’m hoping I can pull myself out of it. I suppose there can’t be progress without relapses.

✨48 hour liquid fast edition✨
currently 28 hours in. here’s what I had today:
001 - black coffee
000 - green tea
000 - 2-3 diet pepsis
000 - 24 fl oz water
090 - iced brown sugar oat shaken espresso from starbucks, tall
100 - iced horchata oat shaken espresso from starbucks, tall

I feel incredibly full despite not eating anything today!! I def think it has to do with the shaken espressos. That, and the herbal cigarettes I smoked today, which I love. The rose ones taste so good, I def recommend if you want to smoke to reduce cravings but don’t want to develop a nic addiction. Plus, you can get a multi flavor 4 pack on Amazon without needing any ID. I did pee A TON today but that just makes me feel so clean! water flavorings really helped with encouraging me to drink a good amt of water. Can’t wait for tomorrow!!

Another liquid fast, almost 40hrs :) ♡ it's so much easier to just drink herbal teas, coffee, energy drinks all day than worry about solids - this mindset feels so productive to me, I prep soups or buy ready made ones and only concern myself with my activity and hydration
I got my 20k yesterday :) my goal today is just 10k, I'm either continuing to liquid fast tn with tomato and pepper soup, or breaking it with a safe amount of home cooked chicken curry ♡

[Mindset Reminder] [Sweet and Mean]
- Liquids digest so much easier ♡ It's always more comfortable for me.
- Why would I clog up my digestion with solids, I have no need to feel blocked up and weighed down.
- Drinking litres across the day is exhilarating, feeling how the liquid fills my empty stomach. It reminds me how much happier I feel running on empty. It's easier to exist in a smaller body ♡
- Eating heavy solids would ruin my progress. If I disappointed myself like that, I'd have to restart all over. I deserve to see progress over a taste.
- There are so many flavours of soup I enjoy, there are protien high soups ready made that make it extremely easy to pre log my omad liquid and not worry ab having to make a decision.

my tips for ⭐️ving and @na
- green tea, black coffee, apple cider vinegar drinks (!!!!!!!) and zero sugar sodas are your friend. they can act as a substitution for food cravings
- watching my 600 pound life
- listening to chewing sounds realllyyyy grosses me out and makes me lose my appetite.
- if I want to try something tasty: chewing it up & spitting it out.
- drinking lotsssssssss of water
- water flavorings help if you’re like me and you don’t like the taste of plain water sometimes.
- walking instead of eating
- buying healthy food that is boring and has little taste, ex. almonds, pre-cooked beets, boiled eggs, (though to be fair I do really like boiled eggs lol) kale, etc. even if you do give in to a binge, it’s likely you won’t be very motivated to eat much, and even if you do, it will all be healthy.
- i cut out meat for several years which helped with keeping my weight low, but I was also deficient of a lot of vitamins so this wouldn’t be my go-to for trying to lose weight.
- keep food in a locked compartment if possible. if you give in to cravings, the process of unlocking the compartment will give you more time to decide otherwise.
- sign up for those automated text messages that are intended to help you quit smoking. some of the messages are ambiguous enough to be used as starving motivation. any time I start to feel food cravings, I text the code word and they give me a message to help me continue with my fast!! I’ve been using the EX Program.
EDIT: y’all have been so nice and have given some wonderful tips, so I’ll add them here!
- @iwannagohomeandwatchamovie suggested watching nikocado avocado in addition to my 600 lb life
- @guardiansleipnir pointed out that being vegan means that nobody thinks twice when you deny food offered to you
- @purfextfox had a really good tip, and they put it so well that I’ll just leave how they put it word-for-word: “If you aren't eating meat, add nutritional yeast to your diet. It has readily available B vitamins you need. Much easier for your body to absorb than supplements. You can add it to pasta, rice, popcorn, on top a bagel thin with light margarine (I use butter). It also has some protein in it, I think 5g per 2 tbsp (15 calories)”
- @babygirlblogger added that you should have bowel movements before it gets dangerous, requiring surgery. In general, not having bowel movements for longer than 3 days-1 week is dangerous.
- @morgannx3 added that nicotine is an appetite suppressant. I wouldn’t suggest anybody take up smoking, and even though I smoke herbal cigarettes (that don’t contain nicotine) I wouldn’t recommend those either because of course any type of smoking is still going to provide health issues, but it is something to consider if you already smoke!
and here’s some things I remind myself for motivation:
- you’ll have no/low periods
- you’ll be able to spend your time doing stuff other than eating
- taking nice walks and appreciating nature if possible
- being so skinny everything looks good on you
- pushing your limits, seeing how far you can make your body work for you. it’s exciting, and gives me a lot of energy and motivation, knowing that if I can harness my own body and instill discipline in myself, there’s many other things I could be capable of.
- drinking water is healthy for you
- eating healthy food
- saving money on food for other things you enjoy
- bones are beautiful
- exercise is good for your brain, improves cognitive function
- the feeling of cleanliness that comes from being completely empty, and having no bowel movements for days on end. you save money on toilet paper 😉
- being able to train your body to be able to go for long periods of time without food, which is helpful if you have a job or go to school
- sharing food with others so you don’t eat it yourself is a nice thing to do, a generous gesture.
- sleeping instead of eating ensures that you’ll always get a good, healthy amount of sleep

I dropped off the face of the earth for a few days, went on a binge and lost myself, but I am happy to report that I am back and even more disciplined.
000 - Diet Pepsi (seriously, I love this stuff. It has caffeine and helps with cravings)

I just got back to campus for a brief summer semester, which means controlling what I eat, when I eat, along with how much I am able to exercise. Since I’m only taking one online class I have a ton of time dedicated to exercise. Today, I rode my bike and walked around for an hour until it started to get dark. I took the stairs to my dorm, so I may have burned more calories than recorded. I should really get a fitbit. The only food I have in my dorm are croissants and a bag of raw almonds, both in a locked drawer.
Hopefully my college’s gym will be open because I’d really like to be able to swim and go on the treadmill and elliptical. My exercise goal is to start losing 500 to 700 calories a day. Right now, I’m losing about 200-300. I’m also currently in hour 6 of a 36 hour fast. I’m going to try and make it to 48 hours.
