Kade Lemieux (TW: Mentions of Child Neglect, Sexual Abuse, Drug Abuse)

Kade is Sara Lemieux's older brother and the eldest child of the Lemieux family.

From the moment he was born, Kade was considered the "Golden Child" of the Lemieux family. In the eyes of his parents, Kade could do no wrong (even when he is wrong, he is always right).

Definitely spoiled beyond rotten. His parents would give him the best privileges and luxuries that money could buy and catered to his every whim. In other words, Kade always gets what he wants.

Kade is what can be "gently" described as a very manipulative, narcissistic sociopath. He's a MAJOR asshole in short.

The staff at his family's estate are very wary of him. Before he was even six, he had gotten eight nannies and maids fired and/or arrested by framing them for stealing his mother's jewelry and priceless trinkets that he had planted on them for "entertainment" or as payback whenever they told him "no".

A lot of Sara's manipulative traits and tactics were learned from personal experience growing up with Kade (the bitch had to learn how to control and torment others from somewhere).

Sara and Kade do not have a close sibling relationship. Despite being twelve years older than Sara and the favorite child, Kade decided from the moment that his baby sister was born that her early childhood would know no peace.

One time when Kade was fourteen and Sara was two, the two siblings were alone in a room together when Sara tried to get her brother's attention by pulling on his hair while he was lying on the floor doing his homework. In retaliation, Kade decided to give his baby sister her first lesson in manipulation by tricking her into cutting her own hair with scissors like they were playing "beauty salon" together. While Sara was giving herself a haircut, Kade heard their mother's footsteps getting closer to the room and decided to put the rest of his plan in motion by snatching the scissors away from Sara and started scolding her for cutting her own hair just as their mother came into the room. Thinking that Kade was stopping Sara like a "good big brother", their mother shifted her anger toward Sara and immediately dragged her out of the room by her arm and took her into the next room to spank her. Kade then proceeded to return to his homework with the widest shit-eating grin on his face as he listened to the sounds of his little sister crying and screaming as she got punished.

Aside from manipulating the adults around them to get his sister in trouble for any reason, Kade was also constantly upstaging Sara's accomplishments and made sure that their parents gave her as minimal praise and attention as possible.

Unlike his sister who hasn't heard from or seen their father since she was four, Kade is still in regular contact with their father.

Kade and Sara's mother never shuts up about Kade's accomplishments. Whether she is speaking to her friends, colleagues, Sara's teachers, or even her own daughter, she always chimes in with something about how "great" and "amazing" Kade is, and is not above using Kade's accomplishments to compare Sara.

Even during the times when Kade got in trouble at school or with the law, their mother acts as if Kade could do no wrong and is quick to point the blame towards someone else (and use her money and influence to make the trouble disappear).

Kade has been expelled from three different universities for multiple acts of sexual misconduct with both the male and female students, and his mother still sees her son as "an angel". Despite there being clear evidence that Kade was in the wrong, his mother was quick to blame the female students for "leading him on" or the male students for "forcing themselves" on Kade.

Kade and Sara's parents are homophobic and don't know that Kade is bisexual.

Sometime after Kade was kicked out of his third university, he started dating Michael Odeja, Noelle's older brother.

While their relationship looked cute and wholesome at first, Kade started to slowly manipulate Michael into making decisions that lead to his addictions with alcohol and pill abuse and some other decisions that Michael is not proud of.

Their relationship turned more toxic when Kade began putting through physical, mental, emotional, and sexual abuse.

After an "incident", Michael ran away from Kade and would have nearly died from an overdose in the streets if someone hadn't found him and took him to the hospital. Kade never once visited Michael while he was fighting for his life in the hospital.

Kade has been living back at his mother's estate ever since the breakup, much to his sister's disdain.

Kade never told his mother or father that Michael was a male and refers to him by his dead name "Alice" whenever he speaks about his ex.

Finally got the writing motivation to write about this asshole! In one of my headcanons about Michael Odeja, I mentioned that he had an abusive ex he started dating sometime after his mother kicked him out. Also, while I am also giving a bit of backstory that explains Sara's behavior and personality a bit, I am not in anyway trying to excuse it. Trust me when I say there is no redeeming that girl or her friends. Anyway, please let me know what y'all think of Kade.

Noelle: (the truth starts spilling out of her mouth uncontrollably) In the fourth grade, I brought a spider that I found outside to school and it ended up biting my desk partner and he had to go to the hospital because it was poisonous! When I was six I accidentally knocked my little cousin down two flights of stairs because I bumped into him while I was running up the stairs and I blamed it on my other little cousin and the guilt eats me alive whenever we visit them! At my old school, I played lots of horror themed pranks on some of the students and teachers and they never found out I was the one who did it, but I did end up traumatizing a few students by accident and I still feel guilty about it because they’re still in therapy! I try to act like everything is fine and keep my feelings bottled up when the truth is I’m literally stressed out all the time by my family! My mother is the reason my dad has a scar near his eye and nearly blinded because she threw glass at him while they were arguing about my brother! I love my brother, but I hold a bit of resentment towards him because he left me and my sister alone with our parents’ constant arguing and drama! I know it wasn’t his fault and our mother forced him out but I just can’t stop that feeling! I caught my Dad in bed with my little sister’s friend’s dad and before I could even think about it, I yelled for my mother and I feel terrible because I feel like I’ve made things worse for my dad! I feel like the worse sister ever because I can’t protect my little sister from the trauma of our parents’ constant arguing! I’M SECRETLY ATTRACTED TO GIRLS BUT I’M TOO AFTAID TO COME OUT BECAUSE OF MY MOTHER’S HOMOPHOBIA!!!!!!! (pants heavily for breath as all of her secrets came out at once, fighting back the tears that were peeking out of the corners of her eyes).
