you ended up taking his after the second time you catched his eyes on your hand

you had your maths exams in a week, and it stresses you out, which does not go unnoticed by Peter

Will help you with everything he can, and I'm telling you, he's such a patient teacher

Starting to study at his desk, but it ends in sitting on his bed, your and his notes spread over it, the heavy maths book in your lap

Makes sure you also understand why you were doing something, because in his opinion, it's important to know the reason behind maths and what you may need it for

Studys in the promotoro method, that means 20 minutes of studying and then a five minute break

Gives you kisses on the tip of your nose from time to time, to show how proud he is of you and as a reminder that he loves you

Will bring you coffee or tea as well as some little snacks like biscuits or something

Is so proud of you with the biggest smile on his face once you understood it and got the exercises done correctly

Everything is going to be just fine

It’s that time of year. The anniversary of Gwen Stacey’s death. Peter always slips into a massive, incurable depression…

this time you decided to try and comfort him. “Leave me, please.” he grumbles, tears in his eyes. Peter’s chin covered in a light scruff and his hair messy, eyes red and bleary. His room looked like a tornado hit. Gwen’s face stared back you from the smashed picture frame on the floor. “Why-why are you here, Y/n? I’m a grown man. I can take care of myself.” He croaks.

But you don’t really listen to him, bending down and taking the photo of his long dead love. You remember where you both bought the vintage frame for it, in a vintage shop down the road. A sad smile spreads over the lower half of your face as you look at her face, pretty as ever. Dead as ever.

You can feel your heart clench a little at the thoughtfulness the past. It seemed so close… but only for a moment. The sound of a siren pulls you back into the present. The harsh and heartbreaking present.

carefully, you put the photo onto a nearby commode. Peter gazes at you as you climb through the mess, watching you carefully fix the picture frame.

You look so much like Gwen as you walk around his room, it hurts his heart to look at you. He buries his face in his hands. “How are you so…put together?” he asks pitifully.

You don't answer, again. There's a neutral expression on your face, something smooth, something calming. As you managed to reach his bed and carefully sit down on the edge of it, looking at him.

Peter feels you carefully sit down on the bed next to him, the mattress dips ever so slightly and he is able to sense your body heat. He dares to look at your face. His heart nearly skipped a beat. You look so much like Gwen, it’s almost eerie. Your eyes are staring into his. And the expression…Gwen had the same look on her face when she was trying to comfort him.

the next moment, he felt you wrapping his arms around his torso, pressing his face into your shoulder while burying your own in his. He smells like his 3-1 shampoo and a faint bit of the chemicals you need too make photos.

Peter immediately stiffens but doesn’t object when you pull his face into the crook of your neck, taking in your scent. The action triggers some deep, buried memory he can’t quite recall. The smell of your perfume soothes him. Slowly, almost as if he‘s afraid to hurt you or scare you off, he wraps his arms around your waist, inhaling your scent again as he buries his head into your shoulder, holding you tightly while his hands grip into the back of your shirt.

“I promise you, everything is going to be just fine...“

It's the first thing you said since you arrived, and those are the perfect first words for his aching soul, just like some soothing balm.

I said it already and I will say it again. This man can cook and bake

will put on this really cheesy type of Christmas music and I'm in the opinion that you both dance through the kitchen while waiting for the cookies to be done

like either this kind of very funny swirling you around or that slow and romantic type of dancing

I promise you, nothing will fall down, he'll catch it

puts cinnamon spices into his cookies because May always did it when they used to bake together as a kid

if he feels funny, he'd put some flour onto the tip of your nose and your cheeks

I'm talking almost always touching, even only at the smallest spot, like intertwining your pinkies, holding hands, your head on his shoulder or the other way around
