"I can't read anything under 100k." That's the majority of fics you're ignoring, most novels aren't even that long.

"I don't have time to look for the incredibly rare diamond in the rough, so I won't read anything below a certain amount of kudos, comments, and hits." Those fics are popular because people gave them a chance and then snobs like you found them.

"I won't read anthing with a single typos." You made typos in that sentence, get off your high horse.

"One singular author didn't thank me for commenting, I'm never commenting on any fic again so I don't get burned." You're punishing people because someone didn't give you engagement they don't owe you that they might not have seen.

"This fic is three months old, it's so old, it doesn't matter if I comment or kudos, it's old." Fics do not have expiration dates, comment and kudos.

This just skipped across my dash, so I guess here I go.

Hmm... random lore about myself...

When I was little, my parents were divorced, and it was my dad's year to celebrate Thanksgiving with me. I think I was maybe 10 or 11 at the time?

Anyway, that year, he took me to a friend's house, and that friend had dogs. I LOVE dogs, they are so cute and fluffy and have hearts of gold. But that year, I learned they could be dangerous too.

See, this friend had an older dog-- she was a large breed with dark fur, but i can't remember any other defining features. She was a bit anxious too, and I was told to be careful when interacting with her. But, being a tiny child full of love for this animal, I didn't listen very well.

I was loving on the dog, my face smushed up to hers, and then she just suddenly barked and whipped around to bite me. It was fast, just a quick nip really, a warning from her end. But it was to my face and it was scary, and there was blood, so you can imagine the panic of the adults when I started crying with blood on my face.

My dad cleaned me up, took me to the hospital to get checked (my mom met us there, and predictably was not happy), and I came out of that with two scars-- one on my lower lip, barely a knick (I need to pull the skin taut to even see it) and one under my chin that's a bit bigger, but still smaller than the pad of my thumb.

I still love dogs-- I'm both surprised and proud that I came out of that with no fear of dogs. I actually felt bad when I heard that they put that dog down a few months later (not strictly because of me, i was just a point in a developing pattern). But I'm also much more careful when meeting a dog for the first time-- always ask the owner if I can pet, give them my hand to sniff first, watch their body language and interact accordingly.

But yeah, that's a story from my childhood, for anyone who's curious.

that round of shc was killer for me too as a zayne main. using the dodge as an animation cancel mechanic helped but it was still pretty tight on time. i'm scared of the stellactrum colors for next season fdghjjhgfhj

Seriously, no kidding! Given the release of Fallen Crown though, I imagine the new season is gonna be geared toward Xavier's new variant (which is good, cause I actually haven't fought with the Mad King yet outside of the rehearsal😝)

I probably won't get full stars this time-- but at least I beat my last record! 35/36 ⭐️ Isn't bad at all.

A new Inteligentia Wanderer has recently manifested. Our experts have determined this Wanderer to be a variant of Heartbreaker. It can be identified by it's red coloring and lip-shaped projectiles.

We have taken to calling this Wanderer: Aphrodisia

If you should get hit by one of Aphrodisia's projectiles, the effects can last for up to 24 hours, even after the Wanderer has been dealt with.

You must exercise extreme caution when encountering Aphrodisia! It's attacks have shown to cause some deeply concerning symptoms in its victims, such as a dangerously high fever, delirium, and an uncontrollable physiological response.

We are unable to determine how Aphrodisia chooses its victims, but given the unique nature of this Wanderer, we have given it an S-class danger rating. Call for backup immediately if you should encounter this Wanderer-- keep your distance and do not get hit under any circumstances!

“I am!” I assure him with a smile. “I didn’t end up developing any symptoms, surprisingly. I mostly just layed around reading all week.”

I walk fully into his office with a bag in my hands.

“I picked up lunch from Moltosio for us. But before that,” I set the bag on his desk and begin walking around to stand in front of him. “I need something very important from a certain snowman— for my health, of course.”

I then open my arms wide, looking up at him expectantly while trying my hardest (and failing) to keep a silly grin from overtaking my expression.

(After coming out of my self-imposed quarantine, I peak my head into Zayne’s office to see him working at his computer, hoping to surprise him with my good health.)

Is it time for your break yet?

He looks up at the sound of your voice, hands hovering over the keyboard. There's welcome surprise reflected in his expression.

"It can be time for it now," he pushes off the desk and stands up, looking at you for signs of any remaining sickness, happy to find none.

Still, he seeks verbal confirmation, "Are you alright?"
