Long time no post. So here is some old art.

So I often draw Damon and his little face, because it's fun, I love his facial structure. However, because I do this so often, I often forget that Damon ALWAYS wears a mask. With that mask he also wears a hood, more often than not.

Damon conceals his face, because of the fact that he is a half-blood. While some members of his warband know this, he is asked to keep the mask on for appearance purposes when it comes to interacting with other warbands outside of their own.

When Damon meets new people, he claims his hobgoblin heritage from beneath a mask. Some people he meets may go on living never knowing what he looked like.

Before being a butler Damon was a hobgoblin devastator trainee in a warband. Since he wasn't a devastator yet, he had to perform logistical labor in the field, mostly serving as a support unit on a worg and cart that delivered supplies to troops.

The warband Damon hails from is large, especially after taking in weaker clans, renaming them to companies. Such was the Yellow Hand Company that specializes in recon and patrolling.

Damon would become close to a peculiar goblin named Kix Mudbag, a goblin woman who hitched a ride with Damon when she got tired of walking. The friendship began with just her getting free rides, but ended in genuine feelings.

Demon is not as talkative, but Kix doesn't care, it's good to have an ear that will listen.

So I was digging through my old sketchbook and found my sketches for an Advanced Animation Project Class.

The short is meant to be a pilot for an idea I had. Basically I made the office, but it's D&D. The dungeon is the work place for a wide cast and variety of characters, shenanigans go down and there are interview cuts of the character speaking to the camera.

This is Jerry, the focus of the short. He is the new guy in the dungeon, but he is clumsy which leads to destruction, even if he is just trying to help.

The pilot episode focuses on a mid-boss who is afraid of Jerry and does the most to avoid him from boarding up the door to jumping off a window, but the little goblin keeps the chase. Turns out he was just trying to return the coin purse the mid-boss left behind.

Gwyn Loch is an elven surgeon and father of Damon.

He has dedicated his long life to finding out the secrets of anatomy and health to be able to help people more with any health problems that present itself.

Gwyn indulged in the forbidden Hobgoblin x Elf relationship with Einar when he found her on a corpse wagon. He would restore her back to health, but it wouldn't be the last he sees of her obviously.

Unfortunately after the split he was never involved in Damon's life growing up. The only involvement were medical books left behind, which Damon used to educate himself to provide care for anyone he may travel with. While Damon has a basic understanding of medicine and first aid, it has helped the boy keep people alive until professional help can arrive.

While Damon is a wizard, he cannot ignore his martial heritage. This is Sergeant Revilra Einar, Damon's Mother.

Revilra is a mixed bag when it comes to her parenting. She was rough with Damon, mostly having him wear a mask since childhood to hide his face, ashamed of the half bred hobgoblin she had created. At the same time she did everything she could to get Damon in fighting shape so when he was out in the world he could defend himself properly as well as communicating with worgs properly.

Sergeant Einar is loyal to her warband and a ferocious rider who rides upon a worg.

New year new NG+. In 3 play sessions I've made it all the way past Genichiro and acquired the Gun Fort key. This means I will be fighting my nemesis in the mid-boss category, the snake eyes, specifically Shirafuji who sits on the gun fort path just before the bridge.

I give myself 2 deaths before I beat her. I did git gud after some time playing.

So I decided to commemorate this with a small doodle

Snake Eyes of the Sunken Valley

I decided to make some fanart of the bosses I absolutely dread when I play Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. There are two, same model and same moveset, but change in location. Both are weak to poison, Sabimaru is a must.

Snake Eyes Shirafuji can be found in the cold reaches of her home, The Sunken Valley, which contains the gun fort. The fort houses the sunken valley clan. Her arena is small, so jumping and running around doesn't help very much. She will be the first one of the twins you will find in your journey to sever immortality or become shura.

Snake Eyes Shirahagi can be encountered in the Ashina depths in a poison swamp-like area, however she will only spawn in when you kill the guardian ape, by that time you would have met with Shirafuji and bested the gun fort. She will be the mid boss you fight before the guardian ape duo.

Out of both of them I'll say Shirafuji is harder, just because you are limited on space and she can't be cheesed. Yes you can get a free deathblow on her, but that doesn't compare to Shirahagi who can literally get herself killed by standing in the poison swamp for too long.

Sunken Valley low key is one of my favorite factions, to the point where I kinda wished we had a sunken valley arts that would revolve around gunpowder.

This is a drawing from mid 2023, this is Fildrin

Fildrin is a house commander Drow who leads his personal troop known as the Invisible Widow. Fildrin being a man in a Drow society has learned to associate femininity with power, thus making himself more feminine to appear as someone who has power, while his men keep a more masculine look.

Fildrin always fights with his escort, never taking an enemy on one on one as he knows his limitations.

Out of all the antagonists I have run as a DM, such as Yarial the winged extinction and dragon Knight Cadmus, this femboys twink is the ONLY boss to cause a TPK (party surrendered).

While he won the first fight, I have a feeling he won't be as lucky against the party in a rematch, but only time will tell.

Damon normally wears black pants with a red stripe when on military duty, however, my boy was going to have to deal with green to match the aesthetic.

Took some time at the hotel to draw this. It's all Damon. I wanted to test some expressions and hairstyles.

As much as he hates it, Damon is a very expressive hobgoblin.

I got a bit bored and decided to dress damon in clothes of characters that belong to my friends. This is just a sketch, but I think I will make it digital soon.

As you can see I also added some flavor of my own with pants and faulds that pronounce his waist. While the armor is nature based I thought I'd give Damon some hobgoblin flair to it.

Hello, I'm a new artist on here and this is my first post.

Decided to kick things off with a character (now professional NPC) that I hold near and dear. This is Damon, a half-elf and half-hobgoblin.

He was a wizard for a campaign I briefly played and now serves as a butler for my players, managing the home base and taking care of them during rests.

I hope to be able to post more soon. Happy to be here ^^
