Hot takes I have that have historically freaked peritrans people out (online almost exclusively):

We should get rid of AGAB language entirely, especially in our definitions of being transgender. It should instead be replaced by SIG, which is not a binary, especially if you had an inconsistent SIG.

AGAB is a system of oppression, specifically an intersexist one. While being assigned a gender at birth happens to everyone, it doesn't inherently cause harm to any groups outside of intersex people.

AGAB tells you literally nothing about anyone's lived experiences, and is functionally useless as self-identification, especially in trans* spaces. The only purpose it serves is oppression.

Binarizing nonbinary* people without the person in question saying they prefer that is exorsexist. This includes all forms of binarization, especially AGAB, which again, is an intersexist system of oppression.

Basically, perisex people, especially peritrans people in my experience, don't wanna believe that AGAB is exclusively a system of oppression, and also, when they do believe it, they don't wanna acknowledge that it's first and foremost a way to oppress intersex people.

Ya know what shout out to butches who wrestle with our butchness because we don’t fit the mold in some way. Butches who aren’t physically strong or naturally caretaking because of physical disability, who need to be cared for, who can’t hold open the door for a femme. Butches with long hair, butches with big hair, butches who express their culture via their hair. Butches who’s masculinity is shaped by their culture, who’s masculinity doesn’t fit the white eurocentric mold. Fat butches, butches with curves viewed as feminine, butches who don’t have skinny, boyish builds. Butches who don’t want to be sexualized, butches on the ace spectrum. Butches who don’t have traditionally masculine interests or mannerisms or whatever. Effeminate butches. Butches who take inspo from gay men. Butches who like the occasional dress or skirt. TRANSFEM BUTCHES!!!!! And any other butches who don’t fit a certain mold!! All butches are good butches and we are all valid.
