I do plan on doing designs for Rena's (Dream BBQ Ena's) parents not sure how long it will take since I've been working on looping animations for the past week.

though I will post the designs when their done.

This will be a kinda long answer…

ENA AU Expounding Time!

Okay to start this is kind of a crossover AU for Gravity Falls and The Owl House. Mainly using them as inspiration for the story and character motivation. I might make it more my own thing later as I develop the AU.

AU Content Warnings: Mentions of Blood, BBQ ENA has PTSD, Angst, Moony’s dad is Transphobic, and homophobic. He later Learns to be an ally.

Character names for the AU to start things off. The current date for the story is:

Jena (Series ENA AU name) Blood Demon/Human AFAB She/they Age: 12 Born: 6-4-1999

Hal/Harold (Human Board AU name) Blood Demon/Human AMAB He/Him Age: 4 Born: 3-27-2008

Rena (BBQ ENA AU name) Blood Demon intersex She/he Age: 36 Born: 9-22-1975

Carol (Coral Glasses AU name) Human AFAB She/her Age: 38 Born: 1-27-1974

Moony Human Molly (Legal name/Dead name) AFAB Nonbinary She/They Age: 12 Born: 8-8-1999

Ben (Moony’s dad, OC) Human AMAB He/Him Age: 37 Born: 9-15-1973

Overview for this AU

Rena is a Blood demon (I’ll give more info on Blood demons in a later post.) simply put she’s not human but can disguise herself as human. her parents were killed when she was 14 by government operatives. She escaped and now lives in Gravity Falls. She later fell in love with a human, Carol.

It took a long time for Rena to tell Carol what she was. Mainly because Carol is a government operative (giving Rena a crisis) investigating the weirdness In Gravity Falls, which made Rena initially scared of Carol. When Rena finally did show her. Carol was shocked at first but accepted her since they loved each other (I will write a scene for this eventually). Due to gay marriage not being legal, they lived together but were not seen as a married couple. Which Rena was fine with mainly because Blood demons had their own way of “getting married” (called blood marking)

They have two kids, Jena (12) and Harold (4). Blood demons don’t develop their human disguise till their 5 or 6, so Harold doesn’t have one, yet… Jena does. Blood Demons also have a secondary “enraged” form, which is often learned when a blood demon turns 3. (For Jena, Hal, and Rena they have wings in this form.) Blood Demons enraged form grow to about double their base forms height by the time they’re 14-16.

Moony is Jena’s only friend since Jena has vitiligo in her human form kids at school bully her for it. Moony and Jena started dating last year, they keep it to themselves though mainly due to Moony’s dad being homophobic, and deadnaming Moony all the time… he also refuses to let Jena hang around Moony if he’s around, since she's “polluting” Moony’s mind…

Jena’s parents don’t let her have Moony over at the house. Since Hal, doesn’t have his human form/disguise yet. This changes later…
