But in all seriousness, I want to make clear that I loved it. Mr. Gaiman and the entire team behind the series deserve our gratitude. This season was amazing and I can't express just how awesome this fandom and the creators are. I appreciate how much their team is doing for their audience and couldn't express how much I love this show. And I can't say that this ending wasn't an extremely well-written tragedy that had and still has me so invested in this world and its characters. And isn't feeling the heartbreak with the characters the whole point of a tragic love story?

I personally feel like there should be fanfiction in which Merlin gets a moment like in Avatar the Last air bender ep3 book Water, we’re sth upsets him extremely and he goes into some blind magical rage mode. Especially as a magic reveal and/or with Merthur elements. I think that would be awesome. I’m not confident enough in my Merlin lore knowledge to write it myself so if sb does please comment the name here! I need it!
