I despise when you’re merely sitting in your room, and doing mundane things, (in my case it was playing Roblox) when suddenly, out of nowhere, you’re struck.

A sharp punch to the gut, followed by a crushing weight, a sinking feeling that pulls you under with the force of a tidal wave.

It leaves you hollow, your stomach churning, while dread digs its claws deep inside, burrowing into your chest, spreading until it gnaws at the marrow of your bones. And suddenly, without warning, anxiety rises—fierce and inexplicable.

I loathe the weight of anxiety, the relentless grip it has, as if it’s a force that will not be shaken. But perhaps what stings more is the emptiness of not knowing why it arrives. There I was, simply in my room, lost in a game, when out of nowhere, it found me.

The sleep medication I take for narcolepsy, has yet to leave my system and a sinking sensation stirs within the walls of my stomach. I find myself questioning whether it’s the medicine's embrace or the silent writhing of sponging worms.

There is nothing worse than the feeling of medication yet to leave your system. For instance, I am for some reason left with a personal and unwavering feeling of doom. Never mind the dizziness. I believe I took too much water when mixing it with my medication, however I’m not sure.
