The true romance of the 13 years after wwx's death is that lwj not only mourned 13 years for wwx, he lived those 13 years honoring wwx. He didn't let his grief destroy him or tear him down; he honored WWX and his life by doing better himself. That is so much more powerful to me than a person self-destructing in their grief and pain, which is far easier than making the choice every single day to move forward and live a life that person would want them to live.

LWJ really looked at the example of his father and said no, that won't be me. My love will never be something that destroys. Certainly he never stopped grieving WWX, but grief isn't something you just "stop." It's something you either learn to carry or don't.

That's why I don't like the idea that LWJ "waited" 13/16 years. While LWJ sought closure for his grief through inquiry (the idea that he played it constantly is only fanon), it does seem to me that he accepted WWX's death and moved forward. Even if he always carried a spark of hope, the determination that if he ever found himself in similar circumstances, he would do the right thing, he found reason to keep going even in a world without WWX.

One thing about EPIC the musical fanfic that just doesn't sit right with me is the lack of Achilles and Patroclus, (others are NPC)

Odysseus fought with them for years, he knows them personally, he ate with them and drank with them. I need him to mention them more

Art forgery is the best crime tbh. It requires absolutely incredible artistic talent, technical skill, and attention to detail to make convincing fakes. Does anyone get hurt from it? No! The only people who suffer for it are the extremely wealthy who want the prestige of having original paintings in their own homes. It’s full of international intrigue and mystery. Perfect.
