this is herakles from @high-pot-in-noose 's amazing harry potter+percy jackson fic godling ascending! I def recommend if you want to read a long fic with an OP main character, without them becoming a mary sue. the writing is great and everything happens for a reason. it's one of my favorite Harry Potter fanfics!

apparently I'm on a fanart of fanfics binge, so I drew my best representation of Yagi Nana from @tsume-yuki's "Boys, Fate, and Other Heroic Bastards" on ao3. all I was really sure of was her eye color and a vague sense of her hair color, so I tried to guess her features beyond that. also, now I have a profound appreciation for hawks, but no skill to draw his hair and wings.

I do think it's funny tho, in that I'm scrolling through my favorites (ff. net) and history (ao3) trying to find fics that had a unique character whose appearance I remember enough to draw. it's been harder than you'd think—I read so many, so often, the details blur.

this is what I picture @rayshippouuchiha's Toni from "The Limitations of Wax" to look like. whenever I see her hair described as a riot of curls, I always kinda thought of it like mine. just. really uncontrollable, all over the place. and she absolutely has to have that blood red Peggy Lipstick™ when she has that severe expression.

tho I do think her fashion sense is a bit more refined than what i drew, to put it kindly.
