Dandelion Collecting
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I missed the flowers, so I went to get the leaves and stems.
I left a little offering to Osanyin for letting me take some of them.
Tumblr media
I got a pretty good amount of leaves and two flowers!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I rinsed them off and then cut up the stems and took off the roots (I did scrub them a bit more after the photo)
Tumblr media
I dehydrated the stems, leaves and flowers.
Tumblr media
I roasted the roots and then made tea from them!
Tumblr media
I was left with a nice haul of dandelion leaves and stems. Can't wait to use them for spells and teas and conjure!

Happy Tipi People Bracelets
I'm so happy with my bracelets from Stephanie at Happy Tipi People! They are custom handmade! Stephanie was very through in making sure the design was what I would like before making them...stones, pattern, strap colors, button clasp style... It was a very pleasant experience!

Happy Mother's Day 💐
I sat and invited Yemoja and spoke to her about my feeling regarding Mother's Day. It was a nice exchange. I'm having big feelings and that's okay 😊

When we were done, I set her items on the altar space with her offerings of coffee and water.

It's Raining Again
I've been meaning to set out my mini portable altar for Oya since it's been raining for a few days, but then yesterday, it stopped...so I thought I missed my opportunity.
Then today....it began to POUR rain 🌧️ so I took out my tools and sat with the energy of the rain and thought about my ties to Oya through my ancestry. I told her some things that are on my mind and called on my benevolent ancestors from Africa and those in the America to just sit with me for a little bit and I told them some things as well.
It's was nice 🙂

I hear you...
Let it go...
Yeah, I'm mad, but I need to move on from it. Start this new path of really letting things go and not hold on to the "it's the principle of the matter"...is it really?
Change and flow...

📖🐟 Happy World Poetry Day
In honor of this special day, I’d like to share my piece celebrating the nurturing and powerful presence of Yemayá, the ocean goddess who cradles the tides and guides us with her boundless love.
Yemayá’s Embrace 🌊🌕💧
In twilight’s hush, where waves caress the shore, Yemayá’s presence whispers evermore.
Goddess of ocean’s depths and might, She cradles the tides through day and night.
With motherly love, she nurtures and sustains, Protecting her children through joys and pains.
Her waves, a melody, soothing and deep, Rock us gently, as we drift into sleep.
In her dark, mysterious waters, secrets lie, Yet each wave’s touch lifts spirits high.
Through ebb and flow, she teaches release, To trust the currents and surrender in peace.
As the moon’s silver glow dances on the sea, Yemaya’s essence calls to me.
In her embrace, I find solace and rest, A heart unburdened, a soul caressed.
💙 So let us honor Yemaya with reverence and grace, For her love, her wisdom, her boundless embrace. May her waves cleanse, may her tides guide, May her motherly love forever abide.
