‘Iapetus: The Monolith Waits’ (2016) by Steve Dodd. A brand new painting from Steve Dodd, his first new space/scifi painting in nearly 30 years. It is based on Arthur C Clarke’s book of 2001 rather than the movie. Steve Dodd is a US artist who was at his most prolific in the 1980s with works featured in Starlog, Omni and Future Life magazines along with European book covers, art exhibitions with the Hildebrandt brothers and a commendation from Arthur C Clarke. For various reasons Steve stepped back from the rough and tumble of the scifi art scene which was hyper-competitive and he eventually stopped painting. Over the last few years he has shared some of his work with me, most never seen outside his studio. With this spectacular painting Steve is most definitely back in business!

I don't remember when I rebranded this page lol. All I ever did mostly on here was the Sims stories for most part. But apparently rebranded some point in last couple years. I have no idea what will be posted here in future. Just a little PSA update after all the twitter fiasco and other sites competing...and tumblr doing their changes...maybe we will check it out here again at some point.

Started a new playthrough challenge called The Masterchef Challenge! It is indeed based off the actual tv show hosted by Gordan Ramsay himself. However, he will not be included in this playthrough (maybe future ones as special judge guest haha). But please read through this document that includes all the chefs, their stories, and the one and only judge for this time around! It should be plenty of fun to keep up with! XD

Love Day Date

Even though Kian and Tina are very happy to spend a nice night together for Love Day, Kian was pretty disappointed they were seated on the deck outside instead of in front of the pianist like he wanted them. It did turn out ok however because the view behind them was pretty breathtaking at times. And it turned out the patio customers were served faster in the end so hardy har har. ;-)
